Chapter 203 No One Dares to Touch Me
"Shit! You trying to scare me?" Isaac laughed angrily, his face twisted as he looked at William and shouted, "You think I'm a coward? Margaret told me you're just a loser. You think hiring some guys in suits makes you a gangster? Touch me today, and you'll be hacked to death the moment you step out of this hotel."
Isaac thought, 'Where does William get the nerve to talk to me like that? Status? You don't have shit for status!'
"Oh? You don't believe me?" William grinned, his smile cruel.
"Heh, William, I admit I underestimated you, but in Lindwood City, there's no one I don't dare to touch. But no one dares to touch me," Isaac laughed coldly, ignoring the assassin on the couch.
Would he really dare to kill him?
That would spell disaster for them.
Isaac's claim of being hacked to death was an exaggeration, but not by much.
His uncle, Xavier Hayes, was notoriously ruthless in the area.
He had committed many crimes but was still living well and led the third most notorious gang in Lindwood City.
In the underworld, Xavier was the most hated, ruthless, and bloodthirsty.
With Xavier around, Isaac felt very confident.
William spoke calmly, "No one dares to touch you? Then I would really like to try."
With that, William's voice turned icy cold, and he said just one word, "Slap."
As soon as the words fell, Isaac felt like a ferocious beast was staring him down.
He turned his head and saw the assassin had already stood up from the couch, the knife in his hand gleaming coldly.
"What are you doing? Don't come any closer. Don't listen to him; my uncle is Xavier." Isaac was scared, sitting weakly on the ground, crawling towards the corner.
But it was useless. He was still slapped hard in the face.
"Isaac, see, I just touched you. Now you try touching me." William laughed coldly.
Blood trickled out of Isaac's mouth, and he mumbled incoherently, "William, you're done for; I'll have my uncle kill you."
Then, Isaac crawled to the coffee table, pulled out his phone, and called Xavier.
William didn't stop him but looked at Alan, who walked in from the door and asked, "Is everything prepared?"
Alan stood respectfully in front of William and said, bowing, "Mr. Jones, everything is ready. We're waiting for your order."
William nodded, his eyes clear.
He had thoroughly investigated Isaac.
As for Xavier, William knew about him and had asked Alan about the latter previously.
Alan, standing in front of William, glanced at Neil and the others who were beaten out of shape in the suite and asked, "Mr. Jones, George asked me to check if you need the family's help?"
William looked at Alan and said, "You can't handle Xavier?"
Cold sweat appeared on Alan's forehead, and he bowed even lower, saying, "If it's just Xavier, I can handle it, but Xavier has a big family from Sunshine Bay City backing him. I'm afraid if a fight breaks out, my men won't be able to hold them off."
'A big family from Sunshine Bay City? This Hayes family is really something,' William thought.
William got up, walked to the floor-to-ceiling window, looked at the night view of Lindwood City, and after a while, said, "Tell George to be ready to send the men from Linwood City whenever there's a change. This time, I want to wipe out the Hayes family. No matter who is backing them, I want them to know that I, William, am not a pushover."
As soon as he finished speaking, William blurted out, "Which family from Sunshine Bay City?"
Alan looked troubled and said, "We haven't found out yet; it's very mysterious; they never appeared in Lindwood City and always dealt with Xavier alone."
William nodded and didn't ask further.
Then, they just needed to wait for those lurking in the shadows to show themselves.
William wouldn't allow any hidden dangers around him.
Meanwhile, Isaac had already called Xavier, crying, "Uncle Xavier! Help me! Please!"
Xavier was hosting a party for his friends to celebrate the birth of his lover's baby son.
When he received Isaac's call, he looked displeased and asked, "Isaac, what's going on? Why are you so panicked? Who dares to mess with you?"
"Uncle Xavier! Help me! Someone's trying to kill me!" Isaac cried out in panic, tears streaming down his face.
Xavier realized it was no ordinary situation, slammed the table, and roared, "Who the hell dares to cross the Hayes family? They're asking for death."
Xavier's roar made all his men in the hall stand up in anger. The place erupted in chaos.
A nanny quickly helped a woman holding a baby beside Xavier.
After getting the address, Xavier hung up, grabbed a bottle of liquor, downed it, and smashed it on the ground. He shrugged off his mink coat, revealing his strong, tattooed body.
Xavier had been fighting and killing since he was young, with over a dozen knife wounds and two deep scars on his face.
When Xavier slashed a man, it was always two cuts: one to the heart and one to the neck.
"Xavier, who crossed our Isaac? Let's go chop him up."
"Crossing the Hayes family is a death wish."
"Xavier, just say the word, we're all armed."
The room was filled with fierce-looking men, all with tattoos.
Xavier roared, "Damn it. No one crosses the Hayes family. Grab your weapons; we're going to the hotel."
With a roar, at least a hundred men in the room pulled out long knives from under the tables and from the storeroom. Their shouts were so loud the entire street could hear them. Passersby fled in panic.
Xavier was about to lead the way when his phone rang with a video call. He answered it. "Who is it?"
Xavier, with his bad temper, saw a young man in his twenties sitting on a couch on the screen.
'Who the hell is this?' Xavier wondered.
But the next second, the man on the screen spoke. "Xavier, I'm the one you're looking for. I'm William. Yes, I beat up Isaac, but he's safe now."
Xavier's face turned cold, and he shouted, "William. How dare you cross the Hayes family! Today is your death day."
William smiled slightly and said, "Xavier, I'm just giving you a warning. Don't get involved, or I'll make sure you're dead today. And the same goes for the Hayes family."
"You think you can scare me?" Xavier was furious. "This is Lindwood City, my city. Who the hell are you, William? Just wait, I'm coming for you now. Let's see if you can kill me."
"Is that so? Then let's wait and see." William sneered.
Xavier wasn't an idiot. Over the years, he had developed some insight.
Seeing William so tough, he frowned. Where had William got the nerve to talk to him like that?
"Kid, do you know who I am? I'm Xavier. Even Alan has to give me some respect. Are you sure you want to fight me?"
William just smiled calmly, and Alan walked out from behind him, smiling coldly at Xavier. "Xavier, it's been a long time. You're still the same."
In an instant, Xavier was dumbfounded.
'Why is Alan with this William guy?' he thought. 'Who is William?'
Judging by Alan's demeanor, he clearly respected William a lot.
Xavier felt a bit panicked, but having been a leader for many years, he was an old dog. He immediately sneered, "Haha, Alan, I didn't expect you to become a dog, bowing to this loser. I think I'll take your place as the Underground King of Lindwood City."
Alan remained expressionless, waiting for William to speak.
"Sure, if you can live to see tomorrow's sunrise." William chuckled and hung up the video call. Then he looked at the camera and said, "Isaac, do you want to see how the Hayes family falls for you?"
Isaac, now covered in blood, sneered, "You think you can scare me? Xavier is coming for you. You're dead, William. Mary is mine!"
William shook his head; Isaac was incorrigible.
Meanwhile, after the video call was cut off, Xavier was furious.
No one had ever dared to talk to him like that, let alone threaten him.
'He's asking for death,' Xavier thought.
"Boys! Tonight, we take down that arrogant brat along with that Alan. From now on, Lindwood City belongs to me, Xavier, and my boys." Xavier raised his arm, and the hundred or so men behind him all waved their long knives and steel pipes, roaring.
In an instant, everyone set off.
On the streets of Lindwood City, countless thugs with weapons poured out from nightclubs, alleys, and shops.
From a bird's-eye view, one could see waves of people with weapons converging from all directions toward a hotel on a long street.
In no time, the entire street was filled with men.
Sitting in the car, Xavier assigned a dozen of his men and said coldly, "Find out everything about William, and bring his family. Tonight, I want to destroy him with his family."
