Chapter 216 The Gonzalez Family of Sunshine Bay City
They all gathered around the phone, eyes glued to the screen, then looked up at William.
William did look like the guy in the photo.
But it couldn't be him!
"Alright, stop staring. He's a total loser. If I'm wrong, you can use my head as a soccer ball!" the girl in the purple dress sneered, her words dripping with hostility towards William.
To her, a boring, shallow guy like him couldn't be from the elite. He looked like a complete loser. No way she'd buy it.
As soon as she finished, Bianca chimed in, rolling her eyes dramatically. "I agree. Look at his shabby appearance. What kind of rich kid doesn't have bodyguards? He probably can't even afford a meal and snuck in with a waiter's help!"
The other girls laughed along.
Only Kimberly kept her eyes on William, ignoring the others. This annoyed Bianca. She tugged at Kimberly's dress. "Come on, you can't be that desperate to fancy a guy like him."
"Huh?" Kimberly snapped back, tidied her hair, and said, "Bianca, you guys go on. I saw a friend; excuse me!"
Like a little elf, she weaved through the crowd, heading straight for someone.
The women left behind were visibly displeased. Bianca watched Kimberly's back thoughtfully. "She didn't hear a word we said? Hmph. Flirting with a tramp like that—how pathetic!"
She reluctantly took out her phone and sent a message.
Meanwhile, outside Sunset Manor, a limo pulled up. A handsome man in a suit stepped out, smiling faintly as he glanced at the brightly lit manor and walked in.
Soon, his appearance caught everyone's attention in the main hall.
"Holy crap! Gregory Gonzalez is here!"
"If I remember right, Gregory is chasing after Kimberly!"
"That guy is done for! After arguing with Bianca, now Gregory's here. He's finished!"
A group of people looked at William, who was chatting with Kimberly, with mocking smiles.
Gregory's eyes lit up when he saw Kimberly. But when he noticed another man beside her, he got furious!
Gregory quickly walked over and angrily said to William, "Kid! Are you William? Get out of my face now! Or I'll have someone break your legs!"
William was in the middle of having a good conversation with Kimberly, and got annoyed by the interruption.
Kimberly, seeing Gregory, was full of fear and hid behind William.
"Sorry, I don't know you. Please leave me alone," William said calmly, ignoring Gregory.
Gregory got even angrier and raised his hand to slap William, shouting, "No one talks to me like that!"
But William caught his hand and said sternly, "You can't just slap a man you don't know for no reason!"
Gregory laughed, pulled his hand back, and glanced at Kimberly. "She's the woman I fancy. This is your last warning: get lost! Or I'll make sure you end up dead!"
A hint of darkness flashed in William's eyes. This guy was way too arrogant.
Kimberly, hiding behind William, whispered, "Gregory, I never agreed to be your girlfriend."
Gregory got even angrier and pointed at William, shouting, "Kimberly, is it because of him that you refuse to be with me?"
Meanwhile, the onlookers didn't know William, but Ivan and Nancy in the corner did!
They had snuck in to check out the high society scene, and when Ivan saw the commotion, he quickly called Nancy. "Come here! You won't believe who's outside!"
"Leave me alone," Nancy said, preoccupied with the Tyler family's mansion.
Ivan grabbed her hand. "Hurry up, William is outside arguing with a man over a woman! The man is Gregory from the Gonzalez family of Sunshine Bay City! You can't miss this!"
Hearing this, Nancy immediately stood up. "What? That William dares to mess around behind Mary's back?"
Nancy's eyes sparkled with scheming thoughts. If she could get evidence, Mary would definitely kick William out! Then the villa Mary bought for him would be hers!
