Chapter 160 Why Is Their Wedding Photo Here?
William ran over from a distance, squeezed into the crowd. He pulled Nancy back and concerned. "Nancy, are you okay?"
Nancy cried sadly and threw herself into William's arms. "William, they want me to be with them, and they said if I don't sleep with them, they'll make me pay three million."
Nancy was crying very sadly.
William comforted her and then said, "Alright, leave it to me; it will beokay."
Nancy rubbed her tear-red eyes and cautiously asked, "Really? Three million, William, do you have that much money?"
William shrugged, turned to look at the few arrogant young men, and said coldly, "Just three million, right? Who told you to treat people like this?"
The leader, a guy in a white shirt, sneered and looked William up and down. He pointed at his nose and began cursing, "Who the hell are you, you filthy beggar? Mind your own business, will you?"
"There's really someone who doesn't know their place."
"What are you doing? Open your eyes wide and look, this is the Ferrari Enzo Mason just bought, and she wrecked it."
A few young men, baring their teeth and claws, arrogantly pointed at William and started cursing.
Not just them, but many onlookers around also started speaking up.
"Is that the girl's cousin-in-law? What is he wearing?"
"Wow! Can a poor guy like that afford to pay three million?"
"I doubt it! If I remember correctly, I heard this morning that Mason Knight, a famous rich scion in our city, did buy a second-hand Enzo for three million."
Everyone widened their eyes and focused on the guy in the white shirt in the middle. "So, he's Mason Knight, the rich scion? Then these two are done for!"
"Exactly. I remember last time someone offended Mason, and they were beaten to a pulp and their family went bankrupt."
The crowd kept gossiping.
William glanced at the wrecked Ferrari Enzo nearby with a frown.
It really was a Ferrari Enzo. Even more coincidentally, it was the one he had sold before.
If he remembered correctly, this car was one he had specially ordered from Ferrari, with a specific part bearing his exclusive name. It seemed that all the Ferrari Enzos in the country were bought by him; some were given away, and some were sold when he got bored.
William felt a bit helpless, having a rough guess in his mind.
Nancy who was scared like a frightened little rabbit, hid behind William.
She relied on William completely. After all, William knew Alan.
"What do you want to do about this?" William also knew it was Nancy's fault, so he lowered his stance.
"Mason snorted and stepped up to William, provocatively grabbing his collar. He snarled, 'Are you qualified to speak here? It's she who crashed my car. Who the hell are you? Get lost!'"
Mason shoved William hard and cursed, "You poor loser, pretending to be rich."
"What are you staring at? Get lost!"
"Still looking? Watch out or I'll beat you up."
Mason's lackeys all spat at William and cursed him viciously.
Then, they completely ignored William, walked up to Nancy, and sneered. "Come on, if you don't make Mason happy today, you won't get away. Do you really think your cousin-in-law can pay three million? Look at him, does he look like someone who has so much money?"
Nancy, looking at William in fear, stomped her foot anxiously and shouted, "Don't you know Alan? Call him over quickly!"
'Why is he so dawdling? He's not deliberately trying to see me embarrass myself, is he?' Nancy despised him in her heart because William had come alone.
She had said it was troublesome, and William still came alone.
"What? Does he know Alan?" The group laughed mockingly.
Mason also shook his head, looking helpless.
William exuded an aura of failure from head to toe, clearly an ordinary and incompetent person.
Could someone like him know Alan?
What a joke!
"Yes, my cousin-in-law knows Alan! Are you scared? Then let me go! If you want compensation, ask him for it. After all, the car isn't mine, my cousin-in-law lent it to me."
At this point, Nancy didn't care anymore. She was really scared, so she pushed all the responsibility onto William.
If they really found her parents, three million, she would be beaten to death.
William was stunned and he never expected Nancy would frame him.
As he saw Nancy's dismissive attitude, William felt she was a woman who betrayed her lover.
Suddenly, Mason and the others burst into laughter.
"Did you hear that? She just sold you out."
"Poor guy, came to help but got abandoned, hilarious."
Facing their ridicule, William could only shake his head helplessly.
He had intended to help Nancy, but now, he had no such intention.
Standing aside, William became a bystander.
Now, Nancy was panicking, swaying her hips and walking over in red high heels, said with displeasure, "What are you doing? I called you to help me solve this problem. Don't you know Alan? Call him over quickly, or I'll tell Mary about that!"
William was exasperated. This brainless girl, Nancy, knew he was here to help, so couldn't she be a bit nicer?
"Sorry, I don't know Alan. What you saw last time was purely a coincidence." William shrugged.
"What? You don't know him?"
"Nancy exploded immediately, her mouth wide open in shock, her eyes filled with confusion, but mostly with anger!
Could it be that William had been lying to her all this time?
He didn't know Alan at all.
Then how did he get this Ferrari?
"You're lying. Then how did you get this Ferrari?" Nancy was about to lose it.
If William didn't know Alan, wouldn't she have to go drink with them and even sleep with them today?
Oh my God!
"I told you, this car isn't mine. You didn't believe me. Now you not only owe them three million but also at least tens of thousands in repair costs," William said helplessly.
It was time to teach this sharp-tongued Nancy a lesson, or she wouldn't even know her own name.
She was so arrogant and overbearing.
Nancy was completely stunned. She stomped her feet in panic and asked, "Why didn't you say so earlier? What am I supposed to do now, three million."
Nancy was utterly terrified. She squatted on the street and cried without any regard for her image.
William waited for Nancy to cry for a while, sighed in his heart, and was about to go over to negotiate with the young guys again.
Suddenly, Nancy stood up, started running, shouting as she ran, "The car is his, ask him for the money!"
Everyone was dumbfounded.
They just saw Nancy running out of sight.
Damn it!
William cursed a few times in his heart and saw Mason and the young men clenching their fists, walking towards him with hostile expressions.
"Nancy ran away, so you pay the three million." Mason snarled.
William quickly took a few steps back, smiling awkwardly, "Let's talk this out, no need for violence, let's resolve this rationally."
"Beat him up!"
At Mason's command, the group immediately pounced on William.
But in less than three minutes.
"Ouch! Take it easy, I was wrong..."
Mason and his group were lying on the ground. They were beaten up by William. William pinned Mason's arm, pressing him to the ground, and then took Mason's phone from his pocket, suspiciously asking, "Rodolfo is your dad?"
"That's right! Let me go! Kneel down and apologize to us, or I'll kill you!" Mason threatened, looking very arrogant.
William applied more pressure, and Mason screamed, "Ouch, ouch, take it easy!"
William ignored him and directly dialed Rodolfo's number. On the other end, a scolding voice came through, "You little brat, did you get into trouble again?"
"It's me, William," William said awkwardly.
"Mr. Jones?!"
At the Dragonstone Mountain racetrack, Rodolfo immediately stood up, with his face full of excitement. "Mr. Jones, what can I do for you?"
Rodolfo was now very certain that William was the mysterious world-renowned racer who had disappeared seven years ago.
In the past few days, he had inquired from many sources and only managed to gather a bit of information.
That mysterious racer came from a very powerful family.
And this family was incredibly influential!
"Your son's car got hit by me. Can you come over and handle it?" William said.
"Sure. I'll be right there."
Rodolfo hurriedly hung up the phone and drove to the accident scene.
Meanwhile, at upscale residential area Villa No.1.
Margaret and the two had been touring for most of the day. They screamed all the time.
This was a standard villa combining the atrium and peristyle courtyard styles of Ancient Rome. The elegant arched courtyard was made of white marble from Helion, with a small bronze sculpture fountain in the center. Crystal-clear water droplets splashed onto the surrounding roses, sparkling charmingly in the sunlight.
The entire courtyard exuded a romantic and luxurious atmosphere.
The opulent castle was the epitome of earthly luxury, making people feel as if you were in a palace.
The floor was paved with black marble, the tiles were as bright as mirrors, and the chandeliers were adorned with luxurious crystal drops. There was a pure black ebony glass table, imported brand-name cushioned chairs, exquisite carved bookshelves, and various custom-made items from luxury brands around the world.
Even Eliana, a wealthy lady, couldn't stop screaming in excitement after seeing the interior layout of Villa No.1, wishing she could live there herself.
"Oh, I need to use the restroom."
Margaret suddenly clutched her stomach and urgently asked the maid who had been following them.
Eliana waved her hand dismissively. "So troublesome."
Then she and Dorothy continued their tour, arm in arm.
Margaret finally relieved herself. When she came out of the bathroom, she got lost.
The house was too large to find way back. She wandered aimlessly until she reached a door on the second floor.
The door was ajar. Margaret was captivated by the luxurious decor inside as soon as she pushed the door open.
This was the kind of treatment only ancient royal concubines would receive.
Margaret really like it. And she glanced over to see a wedding photo hanging above the luxurious Chanel custom-made double bed.
The man was handsome while the woman was beautiful. They looked very much in love.
However,Margaret was instantly shocked, why was there a wedding photo of Mary and William hanging here?
