Chapter 380 I Have Trillions of Dollars in Assets
William suddenly swung his leg and nailed Lazlo right in the gut, catching everyone totally off guard.
Lazlo flung away like a discarded rag doll.
In a flash, Lazlo was on his knees, clutching his stomach that was convulsing like crazy, puking up the wine he just drank.
It almost looked like he was hurling blood.
The scene was wild, like something out of a movie.
All the big shots and VIPs were completely stunned. Lazlo was here to check out a billion-dollar project, and William just kicked him like it was nothing.
He was so rude!
And this wasn't the first time—William had already beaten up Dashiell before, and now he was going after Lazlo!
It was like he had a personal grudge against the Gonzales family!
Everyone were utterly astounded.
How could William just kick Lazlo like that?
Was he nuts?
Lazlo was on his knees, dry heaving, and no one dared to help him. Even Jeffery, who had been smirking from the back, was now frozen in shock.
Mary, looking worried, tugged on William's sleeve and whispered, "William, are you out of your mind? Do you know he's from the Gonzales family? You're making them your enemy!"
William turned to her and said, "Relax. I got this."
Harper, standing nearby, didn't want to get involved. Even though Lazlo wasn't a big deal in the family, he still represented the Gonzales name.
Last time, after William beat up Dashiell, if it weren't for her pulling strings, the Gonzales family would've already settled the score with William.
Weirdly enough, they actually listened to her and didn't make a move.
But she didn't realize the real reason they held back wasn't because of her.
If the Gonzales family truly intended to pursue the matter, even Harper would be powerless, as she held little favor within the Price family.
William was just too reckless!
Lazlo lay on the ground, feeling as if his stomach had been hit by a sledgehammer. The pain was excruciating, as though a swarm of fiery needles were relentlessly stabbing his insides.
He never expected to get kicked by William.
As the young master of the Gonzales family, he was their face!
Tonight was a total disgrace for the Gonzales family!
Both he and Dashiell had been beaten by William!
Lazlo knelt on the ground, his stomach finally calming down. He raised his head, face blank, eyes bloodshot, staring at William as he struggled to get up.
He had lost all his previous swagger, looking totally wrecked, his whole body tense, consumed by a wave of anger he couldn't shake off.
He wiped the dirt from his mouth, then angrily unbuttoned his suit, threw it on the ground, and pointed at William, shouting, "Do you know what you just did?"
His voice was filled with rage, sounding hoarse, his eyes cold and sinister. He stared at William with seething hatred.
It was the first time he had been humiliated at such a high-profile party, kicked in front of everyone. It was probably the biggest humiliation of his life.
William, however, seemed super chill, shrugged his shoulders and said, "Lazlo, if I remember right, your brother Dashiell said the same thing back then. And what happened? Since I kicked you, it means I'm not scared of you."
"You're so arrogant! You'll regret this! Just wait!" Lazlo said through gritted teeth.
"Come on, Lazlo, do you have to say that after losing a fight? Isn't it embarrassing? I'm right here. Come and get your revenge," William said, a mocking smile on his face.
"You! You're unbelievably arrogant!" Lazlo snapped.
He wanted to curse but couldn't find the words, a wave of anger stuck in his chest.
William looked at Lazlo and said, "Lazlo, if I were you, I wouldn't stick around and let everyone laugh at me. If you've got the guts, kick me back right now. Get your confidence and pride back instead of whining. That only makes you seem weak.""
"Can you really afford to mess with me? You're from the Gonzales family, the big shots. But me? I'm just a nobody, so I ain't scared of you at all," William said, ice-cold.
Lazlo's face twisted with rage. He had just wanted to test the waters, but now he was in a tough spot.
If Lazlo chose to hit back openly, he'd get flak from other families in Imperial City.
But if he didn't, the Gonzales family's rep would be trashed.
Lazlo wasn't someone to mess with, but he ran into William, who didn't play by the rules.
"Fine! You're the first to challenge the Gonzales family, and you'll pay for it tonight! We're not some small fry to be bullied! William, just wait, after tonight, there'll be no place for you in Lindwood City!" Lazlo spat, his eyes flashing with anger.
"Alright, I'll be waiting," William said coolly, standing right in front of Lazlo. "But before that, I have something else to take care of."
With those words, William delivered a swift, hard kick to Lazlo's chest with his polished black shoe.
Lazlo felt as if a sledgehammer had struck his chest, leaving him gasping for breath, and he spat blood, tasting iron in his mouth.
He flew backward, spitting out a mouthful of fresh blood as he hit the ground.
William put his full strength into that kick, messing up Lazlo's internal organs. It'd take months of bed rest to recover.
Tonight was the BK Pharmaceuticals' party, and William's actions had put the company in a tight spot, especially since the victim was from the Gonzales family.
BK Pharmaceuticals had just started to bounce back, and now they had ticked off a powerful martial family from Imperial City.
It was a total disaster!
William, however, didn't give a damn. He looked coldly at Lazlo, his expression icy as he announced, "I didn't want to cause trouble today. But you didn't know your place, so here's a lesson for you."
William added, "Take my message back: Lindwood City doesn't welcome anyone from the Gonzales family. If you dare to come again, I won't hesitate to take the fight to your family!"
Everyone present was shocked by William's words.
Was William really not afraid of death?
Harper was super troubled. William had beaten Dashiell before, and now he had beaten Lazlo. He was a real troublemaker.
She quickly signaled a few staff members to help Lazlo up.
After all, she was the organizer of tonight's party, commissioned by BK Pharmaceuticals to arrange the event. Now that this had happened, she had to take responsibility and show her stance.
"Take Lazlo to the hospital," Harper said coldly. She then turned to William and questioned, "Why did you do this? Do you know the consequences? Lazlo was from the Gonzales family. Even if he's not a big deal, he's still a young master."
William shrugged indifferently and said, "Are they really that impressive?"
As he said this, his eyes grew colder.
The Gonzales family was getting more and more reckless.
Originally, he didn't want to take action against them, but Lazlo's appearance made him change his mind.
Maybe he had been too secretive about his identity, and there were always some pests trying to target him or Mary.
William felt it was time to change the current situation.
"William, are you sure it's okay? I've heard the Gonzales family holds significant influence. They had a big say in the National Martial Arts Association," Mary said anxiously, tugging on William's arm.
William smiled and said, "It's fine. Don't worry. I have a way to deal with them."
"What way?" Mary asked, frowning slightly and feeling that William might not be as simple as she thought. Was he really just the young master of the Jones Group in Imperial City?
"What if I told you that the Gonzales family is nothing in my eyes?" William said with a faint smile.
Mary shivered, punched him lightly in the chest, and laughed. "William, stop joking. Even if you were the young master of the Jones Group, you're still no match for the Gonzales family."
"What if I told you I have assets worth trillions of dollars?" William suddenly said.
