Chapter 204 This Is the True Mastery

In under ten minutes, Xavier's crew was already outside the hotel. There were over a dozen men, all looking tough and ready for trouble, wielding steel rods and similar weapons. This was classic Xavier—always making a grand entrance to intimidate.

"Xavier! Xavier!" Their shouts echoed like thunder, scattering pedestrians and causing shops to shut their doors. Curious residents peeked through their windows, even kids stopped crying, eyes wide at the scene.

"It's them again. How long since their last ruckus?"

"Yeah, four years ago. It was bad."

"I remember. People got hurt."

Nearby, people in a mall whispered anxiously, wondering if today would be another disaster.

Xavier's black stretch Lincoln parked at the hotel entrance, surrounded by his armed men, facing off against Alan's crew in black suits. It was a dozen against dozens, but Alan's men showed no fear, even as Xavier stepped out, cigar in hand.

"This is all Alan's got? Does he think I'm running a charity?" Xavier sneered.

Suddenly, more men in black suits rushed out of the hotel, armed with long blades.

Xavier's sneer deepened, "Still not enough. Is this it?"

"Xavier, look around you," a voice called from above.

Xavier looked up to see Alan and William at a window, watching coldly.

"Xavier, take your men and leave now, or don't blame me for forgetting our old days," Alan shouted. He was the top dog in Lindwood City's underworld, and it was his place to step in.

Xavier noticed more men in black suits emerging, blocking his retreat. He realized it was a trap, but he wasn't fazed.

"Alan, you think I'm scared? Today, I want him to kowtow to me," he said, pointing at William.

William, standing at the window, looked down at Xavier and his men with cold, clear eyes. "Xavier, you're doomed," he sneered and sent a message: [Fuck you.]

Xavier, enraged, shouted, "Get that kid! Tear down this hotel! Leave no one from Alan's side alive. After tonight, we'll become the top gang in Lindwood City."

"Go! Go! Go!" Their shouts pierced the night as pale moonlight fell.

Suddenly, several black dots appeared in the distance, accompanied by deafening booms like thunder. Everyone looked up.

"Holy crap! What is that?"

"Mom, look, it's a plane! A plane!"

Residents peering from their windows saw the black dots quickly approaching, growing larger as they flew over the Marriott Hotel.

"Those are aircraft!"

"What's going on? Why are these planes here?"

Everyone was shocked and confused. Several private helicopters, each carrying well-trained bodyguards, were closing in. The powerful gusts of wind from the rotors blew Xavier's men off their feet, shattering the calm night.

Xavier and his crew were stunned. He had seen many fights, but nothing like this. It was like a scene from a movie. The roaring wind and sound waves made him want to retreat.

Looking up at William, who stood at the window with a cold, disdainful expression, Xavier realized he was outmatched. "Retreat! Retreat!" he shouted.

But it was too late. Alan's men surrounded them.

"Move!"

 "Get out of the way!"

Xavier's men, panicked by the helicopters, tried to flee in all directions, causing a small-scale fight.

Then, several black-clad, fully armed bodyguards appeared, exuding a murderous aura. They moved in unison, quickly surrounding Xavier's men. Ropes dropped from the helicopters, and more bodyguards descended, landing among Xavier's crew.

Loudspeakers blared, "You are surrounded! Get down! Surrender now!" Terrified, Xavier's men dropped to the ground.

William, Alan, and others appeared at the hotel entrance. Bodyguards parted to let William through. He walked up to Xavier, who was drenched in sweat and trembling, and sneered, "Xavier, I told you, today is your death day."

Xavier, terrified, suddenly sneered back, "I underestimated you, but if you touch me, your wife and kids will pay!"

William's eyes narrowed, and a chilling, murderous aura radiated from him.
