Chapter 59 Is William Doomed?

William's face darkened; he couldn't comprehend how Nancy could owe a hundred thousand dollars.
"What's going on?" William asked in a low voice.
Nancy felt very uncomfortable under William's gaze, as if her whole body was covered in thorns.
It was as if a beggar on the street was scrutinizing you.
"Just go get the money, do you want to see me caught by them?" Nancy glared at William with dissatisfaction.
This good-for-nothing, even at this moment, was still standing there like a wooden dummy.
Although Todd and Dominic were afraid of Brother Enrique, they were not afraid of William. Since William had come, it obviously meant that this good-for-nothing must be afraid of Nancy.
Therefore, it was only right for him to get money to save them.
"Damn it! Go get the money now!" Todd suddenly slammed the table and stood up, shouting.
In his eyes, William was just a fool who came to deliver money.
However, the next second, William coldly looked at Brother Enrique and said, "I don't have the money, but I must take her with me. As for those two, I don't know them."
Everyone was dumbfounded! They had not expected William to say such a thing in front of Brother Enrique!
Before William arrived, they had understood through Nancy that William was a good-for-nothing, living off a woman.
Nancy had called William because she thought she could dominate him and make him obediently withdraw money and take her out.
But now, it was different. William seemed very assertive!
Even in the face of Brother Enrique from the Starlight Bar, he didn't show any signs of weakness.
Nancy was scared and very angry at that moment. She stood up, walked over, and angrily slapped him, cursing. "William! That's enough! How can you talk to Brother Enrique like that? If you don't have money, just get lost and stop embarrassing yourself here!"
But.
Nancy's slap fell through.
Her fair wrist was caught in midair by William.
"Nancy, if you want to get out of here, then sit down quietly!" William's face was icy, his eyes full of coldness.
Nancy shuddered, frightened by him.
She had never felt such a presence from William.
So cold and terrifying, even more frightening than when she faced Brother Enrique just now.
Thump! Nancy's legs gave out from fear, and she sat down abruptly, her expression panicked as she stared at William.
Was this really the same man who was always humiliated by others, her cousin-in-law?
Todd and Dominic also lost their nerve, only able to sulk and mutter a few words in the corner.
After all, whether they could get out depended on this good-for-nothing.
At that moment, Brother Enrique sneered and said, "Bro, if you don't have money, just get lost. Don't get in the way, you understand?"
Brother Enrique was very dissatisfied. This guy dared to say such things.
But Brother Enrique wasn't the sort of resorting to violence at the drop of a hat. Otherwise, he wouldn't be overseeing the Starlight Bar.
"She's my family, and I don't want to cause trouble. I'll take her with me, and this matter will be as if it never happened. I'll find a way to pay back the money she owes you."
William spoke indifferently. A hundred thousand dollars really wasn't much to him, but he needed to take Nancy away first.
Honestly, he could ignore Nancy's life or death.
But after all, she was Mary's cousin, his family.
If he could help, then he would.
Seeing that the other party didn't speak, William looked at Nancy and said, "Let's go."
Nancy hesitated for a moment, about to get up, but Brother Enrique's henchmen pressed down on her shoulders, preventing her from moving.
Brother Enrique turned his head, his face cold as he looked at William and said, "Don't make trouble for yourself. If you don't have money or the means to get it, let your wife or her family can come and pay the ransom."
After speaking, Brother Enrique snapped his fingers, and his men handed over an IOU. "This is the money Nancy borrowed from me three months ago, sixty thousand,. Including interest, the total is a hundred and thirty thousand. I, Enrique Coleman, am not the kind to demand someone's life. Just bring a hundred thousand dollars, and take her with you."
After finishing, Enrique leaned back on the couch, indifferently smoking.
"I don't carry money on me, but I can withdraw it for you shortly," William said.
Enrique lost his patience, kicked the coffee table fiercely, and shouted. "What the fuck are you doing here without money? Playing around? Get this good-for-nothing out of here!"
As his words fell, two men said to William, "Brother Enrique told you to get lost, can't you hear?"
William pointed at Nancy and slowly said, "She has to leave with me."
"Get lost!" These two men were already getting impatient.
Was this idiot really so stubborn that he couldn't understand Brother Enrique's words?
Did he need to have his head split open to realize where he stood?
William calmly looked at Enrique and said, "I'll pay back the money she owes, but you have to let her go first."
"Me too."
"And us, William."
Nancy's friends, at this moment, seemed to see hope and hurriedly interjected.
Enrique raised his eyebrows, his face displeased, looking at William.
He had never seen someone so stubborn.
Was he looking for death?
"You're really fucking funny. No one has ever dared to talk to me like that. You're the first." Enrique lit another cigarette, took a deep drag, and spoke slowly.
As he spoke, his subordinates closed the bar's main door.
Since it was daytime, the bar was not open for business.
William's eyebrows raised, and he glanced at the few people who were surrounding him.
Each one was rubbing their hands together, their faces full of sinister smirks.
Nancy was also very anxious. She hadn't expected that calling William would be a mistake.
This idiot actually dared to speak to Brother Enrique like that.
If you don't have money, just get lost. Why stay here and pretend to be something?
"William, if you don't have money, just leave. I don't need a good-for-nothing like you getting in the way," Nancy said coldly.
Todd and others also cursed along.
"Damn, after all this time, this idiot doesn't have a dime, and he's still trying to act tough with Brother Enrique."
"Brother Enrique, I don't know this kid, he has nothing to do with us."
"Brother Enrique, every debt has its debtor, his offense against you really has nothing to do with us."
The two men and two women were all eager to distance themselves from William.
Enrique chuckled a few times, stood up, walked up to William, slapped his shoulder, and sneered. "Look around, who here sees you as a person?"
William grabbed a bottle from the table, smashed it, and held it to Enrique's throat, saying harshly, "Let them go, I'll pay the money! If you don't trust me, I can stay!"
Enrique raised his hands in a surrender gesture, his chin up and beads of cold sweat falling. He sneered mockingly. "Brother, be careful. Doing this won't solve the problem."
"Motherfucker! Let go of Brother Enrique!"
"You're looking for death!"
Enrique's men suddenly erupted, pointing at William and roaring angrily.
Two of them were ready to take action against William.
"Get out! I want to see who dares to make a move today!" William shouted, the broken bottle in his hand plunging into Enrique's neck, cutting through a layer of skin. Blood began to flow.
Enrique also panicked, staring venomously at William. "Do you know whose place this is? If you dare to touch me, do you believe any of you will be able to walk out?"
William calmly looked at Enrique and said, "I don't care whose place this is, anyway, if you don't let them go, I guarantee you'll be leaving here lying down!"
Enrique stared at William for a long time, then suddenly cracked a smile. "Fine, I'll let them go, but you have to stay."
Nancy quickly stood up, looking at William in a panic, her friends following her as they ran out.
She didn't care about William's safety at all.
Enrique watched Nancy and the others run out, sneering venomously. "Look at that, your family. She ran away without caring whether you live or die. Is it worth it?
"I heard from them that you're a good-for-nothing. But I don't think so, you've got quite the nerve."
William had no desire to waste words with them, took out his phone, and called George. "Starlight Bar, send a hundred thousand dollars over."
He hadn't brought the card George gave him when he left the house today.
"Alright William, I will have someone deliver it to you immediately," George replied.
At that time, Nancy and the others who had already run out didn't go far.
Todd cursed. "Nancy, isn't your cousin-in-law just too fucking pretentious?"
"That's Brother Enrique, he actually dared to lay hands on him just now. I think he's done for, if he doesn't get killed he'll at least be maimed!" Percy also chimed in.
"A good-for-nothing without money still trying to act tough, he almost got us killed." Nancy's friends complained with disgust, rolling their eyes.
Nancy's mood was tumultuous.
Although she looked down on William, always considering him a good-for-nothing, William had stayed behind alone for her and her friends' sake. He was surely doomed.
"Stop it!" Nancy was very dissatisfied with their tone, her hands crossed over her chest impatiently. "I have to go back and see. You go on ahead."
After speaking, Nancy turned around and went back to the entrance of the bar, hesitating to stand there for a long time.
Todd and the others, after some thought, also returned, waiting sneakily.
At that moment, several black Maybachs suddenly stopped at the entrance of the bar. They were incredibly luxurious, clearly indicating the arrival of a big shot!
The car door opened, and a middle-aged man in a black suit stepped out, with a square face and a small mustache, looking very serious.
He was followed by two burly bodyguards.
"Damn! It's over, it's Mr. Perez! Your cousin-in-law is really done for now!"
Todd recognized the middle-aged man at a glance.
Wayne Perez, Mr. Perez, ranked third in the underworld of Lindwood City!
He was the head honcho behind the Sky Society!
Seven years ago, he led the Sky Society to dominate Lindwood City, making a name for himself.
Before that, he was just an ordinary bricklayer, who later gathered ruffians to help developers deal with demolition issues through violence and rose to power.
He was backed by an unshakable support.
Due to his brutal and violent methods, he obtained many demolition contracts from developers.
Seven years ago, Wayne began to take on a large number of demolition projects in Lindwood City, recruited a bunch of riffraff, specializing in demolition projects to remove "unwanted households." Using illegal means, it didn't take long for him to establish the GS Construction Engineering Company, rising to the position of Chairman.
Such a big shot was definitely not someone to mess with!
Starlight Bar was Wayne's place!
William was doomed!
