Chapter 296 My Identity Will Scare You to Death
In an instant, Alaric's confidence surged.
He glared at William, bared a menacing smile, and said, "You think you're tough, huh? Try hitting me again! Let's see if you're faster than my gun!"
Alaric, confident in his firearm, knew William's prowess mattered not; a bullet was faster than any man.
Today, he had to kill William! Otherwise, the consequences would be dire!
With years of experience, Alaric reacted quickly. He promptly decided, emitting a chilling laugh, and was about to pull the trigger!
Suddenly, someone leaped in through the window, raised their right hand, and a flash of silver light appeared!
The gun fired!
Almost instantly, Alaric felt a searing pain in his wrist!
The pain quickly spread throughout his body!
Under the intense pain, his hands lost strength, and the gun naturally fell!
William remained unharmed as the bullet missed him and struck the wall, creating a bullet hole.
Alaric let out a heart-wrenching scream as a dagger pierced through his right hand!
When he saw the man who had suddenly appeared in the room, he sensed trouble.
Who was this man, appearing out of nowhere with such terrifying skills?
William didn't pay any attention to Benjamin, who was sitting on the sofa sipping red wine. Benjamin was always elusive.
Whenever William was in a critical situation, Benjamin would show up.
William approached Alaric and delivered a fierce kick, shattering several teeth which flew out of his mouth and landed on the floor, blood spraying onto the floor!
Blood kept gushing from Alaric's mouth. That kick had also caused him to bite off half of his tongue!
Alaric spat out a mouthful of thick, pungent blood, along with the severed piece of his tongue!
Alaric's mouth was filled with the taste of blood, and his tongue throbbed with unbearable pain! The excruciating pain made his whole body tremble!
At this moment, he was terrified, afraid that William would kill him!
With a piercing scream, Alaric was grabbed by the hair and slammed into the wall by William, splitting his forehead open and causing blood to flow freely!
William picked up the fallen gun from the floor, his eyes filled with murderous intent as he pointed the barrel at Alaric's head!
Alaric trembled all over in fear. At this moment, he truly felt the threat of death!
Cold sweat poured down his body like a waterfall as he looked at William above him, stammering, "What are you going to do? You can't kill me. I'm with the Flameheart Cartel. I'm Ignatius' man!"
Blood kept gushing from his mouth and nose, making him look extremely gruesome!
Whenever Alaric tried to speak, he felt a searing pain in his mouth, making it difficult for him to speak clearly!
Among the three of them, one had several ribs broken by a kick, another had his nose smashed and was knocked unconscious, and the third had a gun pointed at his head!
The hotel suite was filled with the smell of blood!
Under Alaric's terrified gaze, William put away the gun, prompting Alaric to breathe a sigh of relief, indicating he would not cause trouble.
But he was wrong. William slapped him in the face, nearly knocking him unconscious!
With his mouth already a bloody mess, the slap caused excruciating pain in his tongue, making the pain even more unbearable!
William sneered, "Remember Xavier? He didn't listen and I took him out. Now there's another Flameheart Cartel."
He then squatted down, patted Alaric's pain-twisted face, and said coldly, "It seems Lindwood City isn't as simple as I thought."
Seeing the murderous intent in William's eyes, Alaric was afraid that William would kill him, his face now full of regret and fear.
Moreover, he had just heard William's words.
Xavier was taken out by him?
How was that possible?
Completely panicked, Alaric looked at the seemingly harmless young man in front of him with a mocking and cold smile, and he felt fear rising from the bottom of his heart!
Who was he really?
"You can't touch me! Ignatius knows powerful people!" Alaric gritted his teeth and immediately retorted, wiping the blood and sweat from his forehead.
William's eyes grew colder as he delivered another heavy kick to Alaric's chest!
Under the powerful impact of William's kick, Alaric felt several ribs in his chest break instantly!
With each breath, Alaric felt a searing pain in his chest!
That kick left Alaric lying on the ground, spitting blood and wailing for help!
William shook his head and sneered, "It hurts, doesn't it? If you can't take it, you can choose my first option."
Alaric, gasping for breath and clutching his chest, managed to say, "I have no idea what you're talking about."
William shrugged and said, "Oh, I guess it's not enough then. No choice."
"What are you going to do?" Alaric asked, terrified. Seeing William pick up the blood-stained pool cue from the floor, he felt a shiver deep in his soul!
Before he could finish speaking, William swung the chair and smashed it onto his knee!
Alaric let out a heart-wrenching scream!
The entire hotel suite echoed with his horrifying cries!
"Are you going to make the call?" William pressed.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Alaric insisted.
With another scream, Alaric's other knee was shattered!
"Are you going to make the call?" William pressed further, his face full of murderous intent!
"I'll call... I'll call... Please, stop," Alaric stammered.
He couldn't take it anymore; the pain was unlike anything he had ever experienced!
At that moment, the suite door was suddenly pushed open from the outside!
Algernon stood at the doorway, witnessing the gruesome scene inside the suite and the overwhelming stench of blood!
He then took a deep breath, the pungent smell of blood filling his nostrils, nearly making him faint!
His eyelids twitched uncontrollably, signaling a need for action!
He stood at the door, quickly scanning the room. When he saw William's cold eyes, he realized how dangerous the situation was!
Almost instantly, Algernon pulled out a gun from his waist, aiming it at the smiling William, and shouted, "You audacious scoundrel! I'll kill you right now!"
William shrugged and said coldly, "Algernon, what are you afraid of? I can't do anything to you right now. Besides, you have the gun. Are you afraid I'll take it from you?"
Hearing this, Algernon relaxed a bit, but then his anger flared up!
He snapped, "You dare to violently assault people, you really have no fear!"
He then sneered internally, saying, "William, you're asking for death. Don't blame me!"
"Is that so?" William said indifferently. "Look at them. Just like you, they were sent to frame me, but now, aren't they beaten like this?"
"Since you all made a mistake, you have to pay a price. Clearly, this price is something they'll remember for a lifetime," William spoke calmly, even pulling up a chair to sit down.
Algernon frowned, glancing at the three men on the floor, including Alaric, his old friend, now beaten and bloodied, lying on the ground!
Algernon snapped, "Arrogant to the extreme! You're courting death with your actions!"
His face darkened as he sneered, "Who do you think you are to beat them? They're with the Flameheart Cartel!"
"My identity?"
William crossed his legs, rested his head on his hand, and looked at the ceiling. After a while, he said, "If I told you, it might scare you to death."
Hearing this, Algernon suddenly felt as if he were being watched by a venomous snake.
He saw that William always carried a mocking smile, completely disregarding him!
Why was this happening?
Algernon had seen all kinds of people over the years, but this was the first time he encountered someone who could beat three of Ignatius' men so badly and face a gun without fear!
Moreover, there seemed to be another man in the room.
Algernon felt immense pressure from the man sitting on the sofa, Benjamin.
Algernon was in a dilemma; he didn't know if his decision today was right, but the situation forced him to make a choice!
William smiled warmly at Algernon, but his smile made Algernon feel like facing a formidable enemy, causing him to step back in tension!
William shook his head and mocked, "Algernon, I advise you not to be used by others. Making a bad decision without understanding the situation could cost you your life."
It was a threat!
Algernon was completely overwhelmed by William's sharp aura; William's words made him feel as if he were on the edge of a cliff, unable to advance or retreat!
William glanced at the clock on the wall and said calmly, "They should be here soon."
"Who are they?" Algernon asked instinctively.
