Chapter 31 I will make the whole world cry with her!
Donovan's scalp tingled, his face turning pale as he asked, "Craig, what's going on?"
Craig, just noticing him, raised his eyebrows in surprise, "Donovan, what are you doing here?"
Donovan felt like he was about to vomit blood.
Apparently, Craig hadn't even noticed him standing there the whole time. This was his amusement park, his territory!
But Donovan couldn't afford to dwell on that right now.
Recalling Craig's respectful attitude and his address to those two, Donovan had a bad feeling and forced a smile.
"Craig, you just called these two..."
"This is my brother, Alan Jordan. And this is William Jones, my brother's esteemed guest," Craig said.
Craig was the leader of NH Street, and the amusement park belonged to NH Street.
Donovan had been in the business for so many years, naturally, he knew about Craig's methods and influence.
And he also knew that behind him was the Underground Emperor of Lindwood City, Alan Jordan!
At this point, Donovan's face turned completely pale.
‘Oh no. Did I just argue with Alan?’
‘And I have to make Alan's esteemed guest kneel down and apologize to my son?’
‘Wait.’
‘Didn't my brother-in-law curse even more harshly?’
"Mr. Jordan… Mr. Jones…" Donovan felt his legs trembling.
‘It's over!’
‘What kind of existence did I provoke?’
Donovan was lamenting internally, fully aware that his upcoming actions would determine whether he would survive.
Craig sensed something was amiss. Though he looked rugged, he was quite perceptive.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have become Alan's right-hand man!
Craig smiled wryly and said, "Donovan, did you provoke Mr. Jordan and Mr. Jones?"
His tone was cold, with a hint of interrogation.
"It's… it’s all a misunderstanding," Donovan explained, hurriedly bowing.
But!
Craig's face changed, and he slapped him hard, angrily reprimanding, "Donovan, you can survive here because I'm backing you! Now that you've strong enough, you dare to provoke Mr. Jordan and Mr. Jones?"
After saying that, Craig immediately turned around and said to Alan with a sincere and fearful tone, "Mr. Jordan, it was my fault that the people below me offended you. I will take full responsibility for this, rest assured, this guy is finished!"
Seeing Craig's attitude so humble, Donovan felt as if he had fallen into an icy abyss.
Herbert and Leon, standing behind him, were like duds, unable to make a sound.
Especially Leon, who now wished he was dead.
He actually had just cursed Alan Jordan, the Underground Emperor Alan?
'Damn it!'
The person he admired most was Mr. Jordan, and he even fantasized about following Mr. Jordan in the future.
Now, he's done for.
Donovan was so scared that he immediately knelt down on the ground and begged, "Mr. Jordan, I'm sorry. I didn't recognize you. Please forgive me this time."
Alan merely said coldly, "Apologizing to me is useless, you should apologize to Mr. Jones."
"Mr. Jones, I beg your forgiveness, I will never dare again," Donovan turned his head and knelt in front of William, tears streaming down his face.
He was terrified.
Standing in front of him were Craig and Mr. Jordan, figures that could make Lindwood City tremble.
His whole family was now hanging by a thread.
William didn't say a word, his gaze swept over.
Craig Morris was so scared that he quickly knelt down and apologized, and Herbert and the others were so afraid that their legs were trembling.
"Let's just teach them a lesson," William said indifferently, looking at Donovan with a cold and deep gaze, "You, immediately have the amusement park staff come and find my daughter."
"Yes, I'll go right away," Donovan quickly stood up and led a group of people out.
As he left, he slapped his own son hard and said, "From now on, be smart and don't provoke just anyone, and don't always make me clean up your mess."
Herbert couldn't say a word now, he just looked back at William a few times, feeling very surprised.
‘Isn't he just Nancy's cousin, isn't he a loser? Why is everything different now?’
‘How did he get to know such a big shot like Alan?’
"Wait," William suddenly spoke.
Suddenly, the group of people blocking the door panicked, not knowing whether to advance or retreat.
"Mr. Jones, do you have any other orders?" Donovan was quite shrewd and managed to keep his composure.
"I hope you don't talk about today's events to anyone. I don't want my life to be disturbed, understand?" William said.
"Understood." Donovan nodded repeatedly.
Only then did William nod, and the group of people scattered as if they had been granted amnesty.
Finally out, Herbert took a deep breath.
Several friends looked at each other, their hearts heavy, not daring to speak.
When they reached the door, they met Nancy, who was waiting.
Herbert hesitated for a long time, but still didn't say anything.
"How did it go?" Nancy asked anxiously.
To be honest, she didn't want to see her good-for-nothing cousin-in-law being taught a lesson, so she chose to stay at the door just now.
Herbert shook his head and said, "It's okay."
‘Okay?’
Nancy was a little confused, and looked at a few companions, all with a serious look.
"Alright, let's go sing." Herbert suggested, mainly because the atmosphere was too heavy, and he was afraid that Nancy would notice something.
As soon as the group heard this, they snapped out of it and forced a smile, "Okay, Herbert, you're treating."
The group left.
On the other side, the people brought by Craig, together with the staff of the amusement park, quickly found Sarah.
More precisely, it was a young woman, around twenty-three or twenty-four-year-old, who had been waiting outside the amusement park's Dessert Shop, guarding Sarah.
"William, we found her, at the Sweetheart Dessert Shop." Alan ran all the way, not even bothering to wipe his sweat, and took William over.
Rushing to the dessert shop, William saw his daughter eating cake.
"Daddy!"
Sarah saw William and pounced on him, as if she had been greatly wronged, hiding in William's arms, holding onto his shirt tightly.
"Daddy's here, Sarah, don't be afraid."
William picked Sarah up, comforting her constantly, and at the same time, noticing the girl.
She was a very beautiful girl, about twenty-three or four years old, with long black hair, wearing a simple and clean white T-shirt, and a pair of light-colored jeans with white shoes.
No heavy makeup, a very pure and sweet.
"Thank you so much," William nodded in gratitude.
The girl smiled, got up and said, "You're welcome, I saw her crying alone at the amusement park, unable to find her parents, so I brought her here."
"The child is too cute, fortunately nothing bad happened," Kimberly Harris said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, smiling sweetly.
After a few words with Sarah, William placed her on a seat, and the little one looked at the strawberry cake on the table.
"Eat it. I bought it for you." Kimberly handed the remaining small cake to Sarah.
Sarah raised her head, her big eyes shining with tears, looking at William, as if seeking his approval.
William patted her little head and said with a smile, "Go ahead, say thank you to the lady."
"Thank you." Sarah smiled, revealing a cute dimple, and then happily ate the cake.
At the door, Alan, Craig, and their group of men stood on the side of the road, not daring to come in, mainly for fear of scaring the children.
William thanked Kimberly many times and roughly understood the situation, then said, "Well, how about I treat you to dinner tonight as a thank you."
This girl was very nice, generous and kind.
Kimberly smiled and said, "No need to bother, it's just a small matter."
After a few refusals, William didn't insist, and at this moment, his father-in-law called.
William apologized and went out to answer the phone. "Dad, what's up?"
"William, you get back here immediately, I want to talk to you!"
On the other end of the phone, the old man's attitude was very harsh, and his tone was very displeased.
William thought about it, and could only grit his teeth and agree, "Okay, I'll be there soon."
The phone was abruptly hung up.
Exhaling a breath, William knew that he probably couldn't escape tonight.
Turning back to the Dessert Shop, an unexpected scene happened!
At some point, a man holding a large bouquet of roses had entered, looking rich and handsome.
However, at this moment, Sarah was crying loudly, eventually sobbing so hard she was unable to catch her breath.
Kimberly squatted in front of Sarah, constantly comforting her, while glaring at the man, "Jimmy, why did you hit the child?"
Jimmy looked angrily at his navy-blue suit and said, "Where did the wild child come from? My newly bought suit is all dirty. Hitting her is to educate her for her parents, this suit is worth thirty or forty thousand!"
Jimmy was furious. His suit was an Armani custom that cost him over thirty thousand!
And he dressed up like this today just to confess to Kimberly.
This brat had smeared cake cream on his suit. Hitting her was the least he could do!
Selling her wouldn't pay for his suit.
And this scene was seen by William as he entered the door.
"What's wrong, Sarah?"
He rushed to Sarah's side, noticing a red handprint on her left cheek!
Instantly, William was furious! Especially when he heard Sarah 's heart-wrenching cry, he wished he could kill the arrogant man in front of him.
He stood up!
William glared at the man in front of him, his teeth clenched and said coldly, "You, apologize to my daughter immediately!"
Jimmy, however, curled his lips and said disdainfully, "You're the father of this little bear? Okay, open your eyes and take a look. This is an Armani custom suit, forty thousand for a set. As long as you can afford it, I’ll apologize to her."
Jimmy saw clearly, the man in front of him, dressed in a very ordinary way, obviously has no money.
He deliberately said forty thousand for a set to intimidate William.
However, the next sentence from William left Jimmy stunned.
"Armani? Forty thousand? Okay, I'll give you four hundred thousand, apologize to my daughter immediately!" William said angrily, his face turning red, his fist clenched tightly.
Sarah smiled, the whole world would be warm and bright.
When Sarah cried, he would make the whole world cry with her!
Anyone who bullied his daughter would pay the price!
