Chapter 29 Where Is My Daughter?

The news hit like a thunderbolt! William was stunned for a moment before realizing what Nancy was saying. His voice rose in panic, "Sarah is missing? Where are you!"

Feeling frantic, William felt as if his heart had been fiercely trampled, his back drenched in sweat.

"I'm at the Moonlight Amusement Park, I just..." Nancy's voice on the phone was filled with panic, amidst a noisy background.

"Wait for me there, I'm coming right away!" William roared.

Sarah was missing! He didn't care about the people in the exhibition hall, he just ran out. Rex called after him, but he didn't respond. His father-in-law, Tyler, even cursed, saying that William was rude and rushing to his death.

He didn't dare tell Tyler that Sarah was missing, knowing that Tyler wouldn't care about Sarah's well-being. In their eyes, Sarah's birth was a disgrace to the Smith family, because William and Mary had a child out of wedlock. This incident brought shame to the Smith family, embarrassed Tyler, and had a significant impact on Mary.

As he rushed out of the exhibition hall, he ran into Alan, who had been waiting. "Moonlight Amusement Park, quick!" William said urgently. Alan didn't dare to ask what was happening, seeing how anxious William was, as if the sky was falling.

As soon as they got in the car, Alan quickly started the engine and headed straight for the Moonlight Amusement Park.

On the way, William kept urging him to hurry, and Alan finally dared to ask, "William, what's going on? Do you need my help?"

William quickly calmed down and said, "My daughter is missing at the Moonlight Amusement Park. Get your men to search everywhere, we must find her!"

It was understandable that William was anxious. Who wouldn't be when their child was missing?

Moreover, Sarah was William's whole world! If she had been abducted by human traffickers, the consequences would be dreadful.

Upon hearing this, Alan's whole body tensed, and he immediately took out his phone and called his subordinates, "Craig, hurry! Send out all the company's people, centering around the Moonlight Amusement Park, within a ten-kilometer radius, find people, find the child!"

"William, do you have a photo of your daughter? Send me one, and I'll immediately arrange for people to search, and we'll post it all over the city." Alan said.

William quickly sent Sarah 's photo to Alan. Soon, they arrived at the Moonlight Amusement Park and saw several young people anxiously waiting at the entrance.

William got out of the car and hurriedly ran over, "Nancy, where is Sarah? Where did you lose her? Did you ask the staff to make an announcement?"

Nancy looked flustered, tears streaming down her face, "William, I… I don't know, I was just playing with a few friends, and when I turned around, Sarah was gone."

"Yes, that kid is so mischievous."

"It's not our fault, Sir, your kid ran around everywhere."

The young people started shifting the blame, acting as if they had nothing to do with it.

William frowned, not having time to argue with them. He looked at Nancy's panicked expression and the fact that she couldn't meet his eyes, and he felt that Nancy was not telling the truth.

"Nancy!" William roared, taking a few steps forward, "You better tell me the truth, where is Sarah? How did she disappear?"

This shout, filled with William's accumulated anxiety and anger, stunned Nancy, who choked and burst into tears.

The young people behind her were not happy and pushed William.

Especially a boy, with a slick appearance, a ponytail, and an earring, thought he was cool, stood in front of Nancy and warned, "Hey, old man, what do you think you're doing? Who are you scaring? It's her own fault that your daughter is missing, running around like a wild child."

Suddenly, William slapped the boy hard.

The boy covered his face, stared at William in disbelief, and angrily said, "Damn it! How dare you hit me? Do you know who I am? Just wait, I'll get someone to deal with you!"

William's face darkened.

What kind of upbringing do these young people have?

His daughter was missing, and they were still acting up.

At this moment, Alan Jordan ran over from the amusement park office, seeing William Jones in conflict with a few people from a distance.

"Kid, who do you think you are? Repeat what you just said!" Alan walked quickly, rolled up his sleeves, revealing tattoos, and said threateningly.

The boy, seeing Alan Jordan's imposing figure and menacing look with tattoos, immediately shrank back, muttering a few words.

William didn't have time to deal with him, turned around and asked in a deep voice, "Nancy, tell me the truth, how did Sarah disappear?"

Nancy kept her head down, afraid to speak.

"Speak!" William roared.

Nancy looked at her friends with a grievous look, and said, "I... I accidentally lost her. It's her fault for always whining about going home and running around. I just wanted to teach her a lesson. Am I wrong?"

Nancy was initially very aggrieved, but now she was getting angrier as she spoke, as if she was unwilling to admit her mistake.

"And besides, Sarah is your daughter, not mine. Why should I be the one to look after her? It's her own fault that she got lost!"

Nancy didn't want to take the blame. It wasn’t her fault.

It's all Sarah's fault!

She's just a bastard who's a disgrace to the family, just seeing her was annoying!

William was truly enraged. He didn't expect Nancy to be so unreasonable and so self-righteous.

"Nancy, I warn you, if Sarah isn’t found today, you will regret it for the rest of your life!" William pointed at Nancy and said angrily.

Anger overwhelmed him, and if it weren't for the fact that Nancy was Mary's cousin, he would have slapped her long ago!

Over there, Alan whispered. "William, I've already informed the people in the broadcast room to look for her, let's go check the surveillance first."

William nodded and quickly followed Alan to the monitoring room.

Nancy and her friends exchanged glances.

It wasn't until William left that Nancy kicked the ground in anger and cursed, "William, you damn pretentious jerk, I hope that wild child was kidnapped by human traffickers!"

She was angry because William, that waste, dared to be fierce to her and made her lose face in front of her friends.

"Nancy, is that idiot your cousin-in-law?"

The boy who had been slapped by William, at the moment, resented William and asked through gritted teeth.

Nancy reluctantly nodded and said. "He's just a good-for-nothing, living off my cousin."

"Damn it! A freeloader?" Herbert Peterson was even more unhappy.

He had been intimidated by a freeloader, which was a huge loss of face.

No, he had to get even!

"Let's follow him and see. My dad is the manager of this amusement park. If they want to find someone, they'll have to come to my dad," Herbert said coldly, "I won't let this go. I'll make him apologize to me on his knees, or he won't find that kid!"

Nancy frowned. To be honest, she didn't want to do this.

After all, it was her cousin's husband, and if Mary knew about it, she would definitely not let it go.

But Nancy couldn't stand William's attitude towards her just now. A useless bum had dared to scold her! It was unforgivable!

"Nancy, don't worry, I'll stand up for you. He’s just a freeloader," Herbert sneered, already planning his move.

With that, they followed William and Alan.

Back to William, he and Alan ran to the monitoring room and immediately explained their intentions.

The staff immediately called up the surveillance.

William stood in front of a dozen surveillance videos, carefully searching for Sarah.

"William, you stay here and watch, I'll go arrange my people," Alan said respectfully.

William didn't mind, he nodded.

Out of the door, Alan hurriedly made a few phone calls, directly mobilizing all his men to find the girl!

In an instant, the entire underground forces of Lindwood City were in motion!

All the major shopping malls, all the major stores, all the major entertainment venues, in a short period of time, posted a lively and adorable little girl's photo.

Meanwhile, William was anxiously watching the surveillance footage.

Sarah was his everything, and Mary's everything. If Sarah was lost, William really didn't know how he will live, how he will face Mary.

"There, that’s it! Rewind!"

William saw Nancy and others in the picture, followed by a little girl, always looking around, seemed very happy and very afraid.

Sarah!

Due to her congenital heart disease, William rarely took her out to play. Mary didn’t allow her either.

The last time he took her to the amusement park, something had happened. To this day, Mary was still upset with William about it.

Heartbreakingly, in the video, Nancy and her friends paid no attention to Sarah, only focused on their fun.

Sarah followed them, constantly running to catch up, falling several times and getting up by herself, continuing to follow.

It was so heartbreaking. She was only three years old.

Damn Nancy!

Then, in some frames, William was thoroughly enraged, his fists clenched, eyes burning with fury!

It seemed that Sarah was whining to go home, and Nancy Smith, angry, slapped her, pointing at her nose and scolding her harshly.

Even more infuriating, Nancy left Sarah alone, walking away with her friends.

In the footage, Sarah stood there crying helplessly, calling for her parents, then wandered aimlessly, wiping her tears, frightened.

William's heart was bleeding, his anger was uncontrollable.

Sarah, a three-year-old girl, was left alone in the crowded amusement park by Nancy Smith and her friends. That helplessness, fear, William just couldn't imagine.

"Nancy! You deserve to die!" William was so angry, his eyes were red, and he squeezed out these words.

So what if she was Mary's cousin?

So what if she was the beloved daughter of Mary's uncle?

She dared to treat Sarah like this; she was digging her own grave!

Suddenly, the door of the monitoring room was pushed open, and six or seven people walked in, with Herbert and the others following behind.

Leading them was a middle-aged man in a navy suit, looking aggressive..
