Chapter 201 No Kids

Margaret was stunned because she didn't expect Mary to agree.

She and Tyler were both dumbfounded. After a moment, Margaret cheered and shouted, "Tyler, did you hear that? Mary agreed to the divorce."

Tyler felt helpless and disappointed. He got up and walked into the study forlornly.

After all, it was his daughter, and her failed marriage made him heartbroken, too.

But Margaret, however, sat on the couch happily, imagining life at home without William.

It would definitely get better and better without him.

Mary was so outstanding that she could surely find a better husband.

For example, Isaac was the best choice at the moment.

"Yes, tell Isaac at once. Have him take Mary out tomorrow to relax," Margaret muttered to herself, then dialed Isaac's number.

"Aunt Margaret, what's up? Why are you calling me so late?" Isaac was currently in his own villa, drinking and brooding.

He couldn't help but think, 'Mary must be very disappointed in me.'

"Isaac, I'm calling to tell you some good news," Margaret said, unable to contain her happiness over the phone.

Isaac raised an eyebrow and asked with a smile, "The only good news for me right now would be Mary getting a divorce; nothing else matters."

"Isaac, you guessed it." Margaret laughed and then proudly said, "She agreed to divorce William. I was the one who persuaded her."

It was clear that Margaret was taking credit.

"Really?" Isaac asked excitedly and then sat up from the couch.

"Really, why would I lie to you? Come to take Mary out. You wouldn't believe it, but I caught William with another woman today," Margaret said.

She was overjoyed and continued, "By the way, when are you going to teach William a lesson? Make sure to give him a hard time andreally mess him up. William dared to cheat on Mary; he deserves to have both his legs broken. Ideally, catch him and the mistress red-handed. That way, even if she doesn't want to divorce, she will have to."

Margaret thought happily, 'William, this time you're done for.'

The more Margaret thought about it, the happier she became. After hanging up the phone, she couldn't wait to go to Mary's bedroom. She woke Mary up and said, "Mary, I need to discuss something with you."

Mary had been crying secretly, especially thinking about what happened tonight. She couldn't believe that William and Lori would...

But the evidence was right in front of her. William had lipstick marks on his face, and the color matched Lori's lipstick exactly.

That was a woman's keen observation.

"What is it, Mom? Can't it wait until tomorrow? I'm tired." Mary sat up and her eyes were red.

Upon seeing Mary like this, Margaret felt bad too, and her hatred for William grew even stronger.

"Mary, I'm not being heartless. I just want to know, who will take care of Sarah after divorce?" Margaret asked.

Mary was stunned for a moment and then firmly said, "Sarah is my daughter. I'll raise her myself."

"No way!" Margaret immediately and firmly refused, "Mary, are you out of your mind? If you get divorced and take a child with you, who will marry you? We can't keep Sarah and you'd better to leave her with William. At most, I'll pay some child support."

She had it all planned out for William: left the marriage with nothing and raised Sarah. At most, she'd pay some child support.

Margaret could afford such a small amount of money.

As long as Mary could marry into a wealthy family in the future, the money would be nothing compared to the child support.

"Mom, what are you getting at? I will definitely keep Sarah. I have the right to decide it." Mary, now with a headache, got up and pushed Margaret out.

Margaret stood at the door, knocked, and shouted, "Mary, you don't get to decide it. We absolutely won't keep Sarah."

Mary was now extremely annoyed. She lay on the bed and covered her head with a pillow.

She didn't know what to do.

Divorce was just something said in anger.

But she couldn't get over it in her heart.

Back to William, after leaving the hospital, Lori clung to him, insisting he stay with her.

William had no choice but to find a hotel for her to stay in.

But Lori, desperate and clinging to William, insisted on going upstairs.

William said, "I'll just take you up, then I'll leave."

She quickly blinked her eyes, looking pitiful, and said, "Okay."

But in her mind, she thought, 'Once we're upstairs, do you think you can just leave?'

They went upstairs and into the suite.

Lori couldn't wait to take off her coat. She pouted and beckoned to William. "William, I'm going to take a shower first. Wait for me, okay?"

William was stunned and wanted to leave, but then he thought, Lori was clearly trying to seduce him.

He thought, 'Shouldn't I play along a bit?'

Besides, William couldn't think of a reason to go back and face Mary.

William felt very troubled about tonight's incident.

So, he simply sat on the couch, lost in thought.

The sound of running water came from the bathroom.

About ten minutes later, the bathroom door opened, and Lori emerged with flushed cheeks and wet shoulders, wearing only a white bathrobe.

William was sitting on the couch. Even though he knew he was here to fool Lori, he couldn't help but gulp because it was too tempting

He didn't expect that Lori had such a great figure.

He told himself to calm down.

William took a big gulp of water to suppress his excitement.

Lori saw all of these and thought, 'William, you're so naive. You can't handle even this.'

"William, I'm done. Why don't you take a shower too?" Lori, in slippers, pounced on him, wrapping her arms around his neck, her cheeks flushed.

William nodded mechanically. "I'll go take a shower."

He fled into the bathroom.

Watching his back, Lori's lips curled into a mocking smile. "Idiot, money can't change your foolish nature. I don't know if he's lucky or unlucky."

In the bathroom, William splashed his face with cold water and looked at himself in the mirror.

At that moment, he hesitated.

Lori was a gold-digger. What difference would it make if he slept with her?

After all, Mary had disappointed him tonight.

He said to himself, "No!"

He had come to fool Lori, to teach her a lesson, and he couldn't cross the line.

Mary was the only woman he truly loved.

Ten minutes later, William came out of the bathroom as he was drying hair. He couldn't help but glance at Lori, who was sitting on the couch.

Lori, understanding men's thoughts, deliberately changed her posture, causing William to spit out the water he had just drunk.

"Oh my, William, what's wrong?" Lori ran over, pretending to be very concerned.

"Ah, I'm fine. I just drank too quickly and choked," William explained awkwardly.

Lori smiled but didn't expose him. She sat on the couch, clinging to him, and asked in a sweet voice, 'William, you saw it tonight. Mary is seeing other men behind your back, isn't she?"

William still felt a bit hurt about tonight's incident.

"You?" William turned his head to ask, "Isn't it inappropriate? Didn't you look down on me before?"

"How could that be? That was before. Now I really like you," Lori said.

"You like my status and money." William bluntly exposed her.

Lori was stunned but didn't deny it. She said, "You need money to talk about love. Don't worry, I'll be devoted to you."

She wrapped her arms around William's neck to prove it.

William's eyes widened, not expecting Lori to be so forward.

Meanwhile, downstairs at the hotel, several black SUVs had already pulled up.

Several thugs with cold weapons jumped out as the door opened.

Leading them was a burly man with muscles and a tattoo on his right arm, exuding dominance.

Their appearance scared the hotel guests causing them to scatter in fear.

"Neil, it's here. Our guys have been watching closely. They saw that guy go up with a long-legged, curvy woman."

One of the underlings stared towards the girls at the front desk, said.

Neil, exuding a fierce aura, said, "Tonight, cripple that guy. Later, I'll treat you all to well. All we need to do is make Isaac content, got it?"

They replied extremely excitedly, "Got it!"

Without another word, they rushed to the elevator, heading straight for the room William had booked.
