Chapter 17 Those Who Offend Me, Shall Die!
"Thomas, who let you in!"
Patricia rebuked coldly, her tone unfriendly.
She did not like Thomas, the corpulent man, as he had been coveting her for more than a day or two.
Whenever he had the chance, Thomas would barge in, his face brimming with eagerness to ask her out for a meal.
Moreover, his hands weren't clean, and he wanted to bring his friends and family into the Eagle Trade Showroom.
For instance, Pamela was brought in by Thomas.
"Patricia, what kind of attitude is that? As the operations manager of the Eagle Trade Showroom, can't I sit here?"
Thomas sat on the sofa, his belly large and layered with fat, making one worry that his shirt might burst.
"This is not the place for you, get out now," Patricia pointed to the door and said coldly.
The new Boss was right there, and yet Thomas, this fool, dared to be so presumptuous.
Thomas chuckled twice, glancing at William standing aside, and shamelessly joked, "Patricia, I didn't see that coming. What kind of people are you looking for?"
Patricia's brows furrowed, and she snapped. "Thomas , what are you saying!"
Damn it!
"I won't waste words with you. Pamela is my person; you can't fire her," Thomas stated bluntly.
Standing aside, Pamela looked at Patricia and William with cold, mocking eyes, filled with disdain.
Patricia, this woman, actually brought a man into the resting room in public.
Patricia sneered a few times. "Thomas, don't forget, I'm the manager here, and I have the right to do this!"
"Patricia, don't be shameless. Thomas is not afraid of you."
Pamela crossed her arms, her face full of scorn. "Moreover, bringing a migrant worker into the resting room is already a violation. If this gets out, your position as manager, Patricia, might not be so secure."
After speaking, she sat down next to Thomas, the two of them intimately wrapped up together, oblivious to their surroundings.
"Patricia, think about it. It's not worth offending me over a migrant worker."
Thomas threatened with a laugh, his gaze lingering on Patricia as if he wanted to devour this ripe woman.
He had wanted Patricia for more than a day or two.
But this woman was like an iceberg, always indifferent to him.
She always acted pure and aloof; it turned out she was like this in private.
If it weren't for Pamela coming to him today, Thomas wouldn't have known that Patricia had brought a migrant worker into the resting room.
Thinking of this, he hated William even more!
"What do you want then?" Patricia asked coldly.
She had been observing William's face, noticing his indifferent demeanor.
She understood that Mr. Jones didn't want to get involved.
Thomas licked his lips, his eyes leering at Patricia's chest and legs. "Simple, accompany me for dinner tonight."
"What do you say?" Pamela exploded, her face turning stern as she glared at Thomas.
Thomas quickly explained, "Just kidding, baby. Then what do you want to do?"
At this moment, Pamela pointed at William with a sneer. "I want him to kneel down and apologize to me!"
There was no way Pamela expected Patricia to apologize to her.
So, she decided to humiliate the loser she brought in.
He obviously looked like her secret lover.
William was taken aback; the fire had reached him after all.
Patricia was also shocked, glaring angrily at Pamela. "Pamela, you have no right to speak here, shut up!"
"Patricia, I haven't asked you to apologize, and you're already defending a loser? Could it be that he's really your kept man? But he looks just-so-so." Pamela mocked with a laugh.
"Shut up! Do you know who he is?" Patricia shouted angrily.
"Isn't he just a loser, could he be our new Boss?" Pamela sneered.
What did Patricia mean?
How could such a loser have any special identity?
Suddenly!
William asked with a faint smile, "Are you sure you want me to kneel down and apologize to you?"
"Yes! Kneel down and apologize to me right now!" Pamela demanded arrogantly.
Her whole body exuded an air of haughtiness.
"Not just kneel, but crawl over here and kowtow." Thomas added disdainfully.
To deal with a loser, he was too lazy to do it himself.
He had always enjoyed using his power to bully others.
"You're Thomas, the operations manager here?"
Contrarily, William did not seem angry but asked with a smile.
"That's right, I am the operations manager here. Are you scared now? Then hurry up and apologize to my girlfriend!"
Thomas sat on the sofa, legs crossed, with a proud and arrogant expression.
However, William suddenly turned his head and said coldly to Patricia, "Fire both of them, and also check if he's been embezzling or abusing his power. I want it dealt with immediately."
Patricia immediately nodded respectfully. "Yes, Mr. Jones."
Hearing this, Thomas laughed a few times, skeptical and disdainful. "Kid, what do you just say? You want to fire me and investigate me? Are you an idiot? Do you know where this is? Do you know who I am?"
A series of questions.
Thomas laughed as if he had heard the funniest joke of the year, covering his face and laughing uncontrollably.
Pamela also scoffed. "Damn! He really is an idiot. His mind is not lucid."
Thomas and Pamela had never seen such a loser. Could he possibly think he's the Boss here?
Ridiculous to the extreme!
However, the next second.
Patricia coldly picked up the phone and dialed security. "Send some people over and notify the finance investigation department to hand over all the evidence of Thomas 's embezzlement and abuse of power to the police."
Patricia had long been gathering evidence against Thomas.
She had always kept to herself, not looking for trouble with Thomas.
But today was different; he had offended the new Boss.
He had to die!
And it would be a miserable death!
As soon as she finished speaking, Thomas's laughter came to an abrupt halt. He then asked with a dark face, "Patricia, what do you mean? Are you really going to go after me?"
Patricia didn't say a word.
In less than two minutes, several security guards rushed in and immediately handcuffed Thomas and Pamela, who were sitting on the sofa.
"Damn it! Are you blind? Don't you know who I am? Let me go!" Thomas struggled and roared angrily.
But the security guards didn't listen at all.
Because they were Patricia's people and only listened to her.
At this time, Pamela still didn't know what she had done wrong, shouting, "Thomas, they've all gone crazy, fire them all!"
However, at this moment.
William calmly sat on the sofa, and Patricia, holding freshly printed documents, respectfully said, "Sir, this is the notice of their dismissal."
William nodded and said indifferently, "Post it at the door."
Thomas and Pamela were both dumbfounded.
Boss?
Patricia just called him Boss!
Thomas and Pamela broke out in a cold sweat.
Without hesitation, Thomas knelt on the floor and crawled to William, hugging his legs and crying, "Boss, I'm sorry, I was blind and didn't recognize you, I deserve to die!"
As he spoke, he began to slap his own face.
Pamela collapsed on the floor, her legs weak, her body trembling, her eyes filled with terror.
This loser was actually the Boss!
Impossible!
At that moment, the finance department staff came in with the police and, without a word, handcuffed Thomas and took him away.
"Sir! Please spare me, I won't dare again!"
The resting room echoed with Thomas's final desperate cries.
Now, only Pamela was left collapsed on the floor.
William glanced at her coldly, preparing to leave.
Patricia followed closely, ready to see him out.
Pamela lunged forward, grabbing William's legs, her eyes brimming with tears as she begged for mercy. "William, I know I was wrong too, please spare me this once."
William didn't even look at her, just coldly said, "Her position will be taken over by Stephanie at the door."
"Yes, Mr. Jones," Patricia replied, quickly having the security drag Pamela away.
As Patricia left the resting room, laughing and chatting while accompanying William to the main exhibition hall.
An unexpected voice called out.
"William, what are you doing here?"
A familiar voice made William turn his head towards the side door, only to see Matthew Anderson looking at him with confusion and a flicker of disgust in his eyes.
