Chapter 428 No One Dares to Stop

Brenda was floored for a sec, watching William storm off. She could totally feel the rage bubbling inside him. 'Is this the real William?' she wondered, shaking her head a bit before hustling to catch up.

Out front, a bunch of black Mercedes were lined up, bodyguards all in formation. As soon as William stepped out, they popped the car door open for him, all respectful-like. Seeing this whole scene, Brenda glanced at Alan, who was trailing William, and got the picture.

The convoy peeled out of the hospital, zooming towards the Medical Association branch. It was a tall building, and the media had just cleared out. The sudden arrival of the all-black Mercedes convoy left the security guards at the entrance totally gobsmacked.

The car doors swung open in sync. A bunch of bodyguards in black suits hopped out and stood by the doors, all serious. Then, Alan got out and opened the door of the central Mercedes, saying respectfully, "Mr. Jones, we're here."

"Is that Alan?" someone blurted out.

"Holy crap! Am I seeing things? Alan's personally opening the car door for someone!" another voice exclaimed.

The media folks and entrepreneurs who were still hanging around were stunned. It was just too wild!

"Who's in the car that deserves this kind of VIP treatment, with Alan opening the door?" a guy asked, craning his neck to see.

Inside the car, William took a file from George. After a quick look, he couldn't help but chuckle. "The Medical Association branch is a total mess. Sterling's done so much shady stuff!"

"Sir, Sterling's the president of the Medical Association branch and a big shareholder in his brother's company. Even though the order came from the main Medical Association, he's got his own agenda," George said over the phone.

"What's the deal with the main Medical Association?" William asked, frowning.

"The revocation of the business license was ordered by Leander Fairchild, the president of the main Medical Association. His wife, Maya, is Mary's classmate, and you know her," George explained.

Hearing Maya's name, William got it instantly. "I see," he muttered with a cold smile.

So, Maya was stirring the pot behind the scenes. What a spiteful woman! William vowed to take down the Medical Association!

"Let's see who comes out on top!" William said coldly, his eyes icy.

Then, he stepped out of the car and looked up at the tall building of the Medical Association branch.

A crew of people barged in. No one dared to stop them becuse that was Alan!

The receptionist in the front hall was texting her boyfriend when she heard a voice next to her. "Where's Sterling?"

She looked up instinctively, her eyes widening.

She quickly grabbed the phone and dialed Sterling's office. After a few murmurs on the phone, she looked up at William and asked, "What's your name?"

"William," he said with a grin. "Tell him I'm here for BK Pharmaceuticals and to brace himself for the end."

The receptionist was taken aback but relayed the message. Then she said, "I'm sorry, Mr. Jones, Mr. Hargreaves is not receiving guests at this time."

William scanned the room, walked over, and grabbed a folding metal chair with a cold look. The next second, he slammed the chair down on the front desk. The desk shattered, and the marble countertop cracked.

The front hall erupted into chaos.

Several female receptionists screamed, covering their ears and squatting on the ground.

William asked coldly, "Where's Sterling?"

The security guards got the alert and rushed over.

A bunch of security guards, or more like thugs in uniforms, surrounded William and his crew, yelling, "This ain't a place for troublemakers!"

William frowned, looking at them with disdain. Alan stepped up, leading a team of bodyguards who easily took down all the security guards.

Seeing the guards on the ground, the other receptionists were scared out of their minds. William coldly asked one of them, "Tell me, where's Sterling?"

Terrified, the receptionist stammered, "In the meeting room!"

"Let's go." William marched forward and barged in.

They soon reached the meeting room, which was pretty swanky. As the door swung open, William and his crew stepped in.

As soon as William entered, a sinister voice greeted him. "Didn't think you'd actually barge in."

"Are you Sterling Hargreaves?" William asked, scanning the room coldly. He spotted a middle-aged man lounging on the sofa, looking all smug. A female secretary was beside him, clearly having just been cozy.

The man stood up, looked at William, and said, "You must be William."

William nodded, smiling faintly. "I'm here to end you."

The middle-aged man shook his head and said, "I'm not Sterling. The one you're looking for is my brother. I'm Cassius Hargreaves, the general manager of VitaCure Pharmaceuticals."

"Cassius?" William muttered, then sneered, "Doesn't matter. I'll deal with you first, then your brother."

Cassius laughed smugly, sizing up William, and mocked, "William, I've heard you're just a loser. Where do you get the nerve to talk to me like that? Do you know my family controls all the medical licenses in the city?"

William said calmly, "So what? If your family falls, others will take your place."

Hearing this, Cassius burst into laughter. "Other families? William, are you kidding me? Our resources are beyond your wildest dreams. How dare you challenge us? Keep dreaming!"

"By the way, I heard your wife is in the hospital. What about the baby?" Cassius said, a sinister smile on his face.

William frowned, clenched his fists, and asked coldly, "You have a hand in it?"

In his eyes, Cassius was dead meat.
