Chapter 307 Testing the Price Family

William frowned slightly, looking at Abigail behind Savannah. His expression was completely cold, devoid of the innocence and cuteness he once had.

As expected, Abigail wasn't simple.

William glanced at Savannah and asked, "Do you need something from me?"

William had to admit that Savannah was indeed very attractive, exuding a seductive aura that most men couldn't resist.

Her curvaceous figure was accentuated by a red dress with a slit, and her eyes were full of charm.

She was an extremely dangerous woman.

That was William's first impression.

Savannah smiled, her eyes crinkling as she said softly, "Mr. Jones, I'm here to propose a deal."

"No one has ever dared to propose a deal with me," William said calmly. At this moment, his aura was fully unleashed, cold and intimidating, completely different from his usual timid image.

"You can listen to my deal first and then decide. It's not too late," Savannah said with a smile, walking a few steps forward with a cat-like grace.

A figure suddenly blocked William.

Benjamin, holding a military-grade knife, pressed it against Savannah's neck, his eyes cold and emotionless.

"One more step, and you'll die," Benjamin said coldly.

This was perhaps one of the few times his words carried such a lethal intent.

With just that one sentence, the surroundings in the corridor seemed to turn cold.

Savannah gave Benjamin a sense of threat.

Savannah lifted her chin slightly, arched her eyebrows, and narrowed her brown eyes. Her lips curved into a seductive smile as she said, "Hey, isn't it kind of rude to treat a lady, especially a pretty one, like this?"

William glanced at Savannah, signaling Benjamin to step back, and asked coldly, "What kind of deal do you want to make?"

"The Miller family. I can help you eliminate the Miller family," Savannah said softly. "From what I've gathered, the Jones Group in Imperial City has cut off all your funding sources and available resources."

William looked at Savannah indifferently and then asked, "How much do you know about me?"

Savannah stated, "You're the heir to the Jones Group in Imperial City, handling billions, with powerful connections. The Millers are supposed to be allies, but they've got some bad plans against your family."

Savannah continued with a chuckle, "If you join forces with me, I can help you eliminate the Millers and support you in becoming the head of your family."

William fell silent for a moment and then asked, "What's your condition?"

Savannah smiled lightly and said, "I need you to stand with me as an ally when the time comes."

William didn't speak, seriously considering Savannah's words.

From her words, William learned that Savannah knew only of his association with the Jones Group in Imperial City, not his true background.

That was why his father, Mario, had created the Jones Group in Imperial City years ago. It had indeed attracted attention.

This puppet group and family, established for over a decade, had finally reached the moment to play its role.

Mario was right.

Those behind the scenes were starting to stir.

Suddenly, William took a step forward, coldly staring at Savannah, and asked, "What's the name of the person behind you?"

Savannah was stunned. For a moment, she felt as if she were being stared down by a fierce beast.

That feeling made her involuntarily shiver and feel a bit parched.

How could this be?

Who exactly was he?

Why did he have such an overwhelming aura?

"Mr. Jones, I can't tell you now. Once you become our ally, you can meet my boss," Savannah said with a smile, trying to keep herself calm.

William remained silent for a moment and then said, "I don't need outsiders to deal with the Miller family. As for your boss, tell him not to try any tricks with me, or he'll end up being destroyed."

After saying this, William turned and left.

Before leaving, he gave Abigail a meaningful look.

After William left, Savannah let out a slight sigh of relief, looking at his back, and chuckled. "He's indeed not an ordinary man. No wonder the head of the family cares so much about him. I'm really curious about what makes him so fearless."

'The young master of the Jones Group in Imperial City, huh? Is this really his true identity? But why can't I find anything else?' Savannah thought.

Savannah turned to look at Abigail and asked, "Abigail, do you know what to do next?"

Abigail's face was cold as she lowered her head and said, "Understood."

She hesitated for a while and asked worriedly, "Savannah, aren't you afraid the head of the family will blame you for this?"

"This is my own business. I know what I'm doing," Savannah replied, then walked towards the operating room.

William was truly audacious to beat Archibald.

Lindwood City would not be peaceful anymore.

Back to William, as he left the hospital, he said coldly, "Look into her, and by the way, how's the investigation into Ignatius going?"

Benjamin followed behind William, looking lazy, and said, "We can't go after Ignatius yet. This group is sly, based in the Crimson Empire, set up abroad, with solid financial support. With the family ban on you, we can't do anything."

"Overseas?"

William frowned. Things were getting complicated.

If Jeffery was really behind this, and he could use Ignatius in Lindwood City, could the Crimson Empire be involved?

William couldn't tolerate any dangerous presence near him, especially now that he was banned by the family, limiting his actions significantly.

He wondered how George was doing.

It was time to reveal the plans he had laid out over the years.

William made his way back to the Radiant Glow Hotel and received a call from Mary halfway there.

"Honey, where are you?" Mary asked worriedly, afraid that something had happened to William.

William chuckled and said, "I just went out for some fresh air. What's up?"

Mary sighed in relief and quickly said, "Come back quickly. Evander is here."

William paused, realizing Evander's absence and Mary's call signaled she couldn't manage the situation.

Was Evander here to avenge Keith?

William didn't think much and took a cab back to the hotel, where he met Harper waiting at the entrance.

Harper saw William from a distance, hands in his pockets, humming a tune as he walked over. She crossed her arms, her eyes flickering with a strange light, and asked, "Is it settled?"

Upon seeing Harper at the entrance, William admired her impressive figure. Her black pleated skirt, which reached her knees, wrapped around her legs and sparked his imagination.

He squinted and asked with a grin, "Harper, are you waiting for me?"

Harper rolled her eyes at him and said coyly, "Stop joking around. How's Archibald?"

William pretended to be clueless and said, "Who's Archibald? I don't understand what you're talking about."

Harper's lips curled into a fake smile as she said, "Do you know the consequences of offending Archibald?"

Harper didn't press further. She could roughly guess what William had been up to, but she wasn't entirely sure, so she let it go.

The only thing she couldn't figure out was William's actions and demeanor; they were too shocking!

What gave him the confidence to act this way?

No, she had to find a chance to ask Betty.

Who exactly was William?

"You mean that Archibald?" William asked.

Then he raised an eyebrow and shrugged indifferently, saying, "What's done is done. We'll deal with the consequences later."

Harper sized William up and down, then suddenly smiled. "You seem pretty carefree. The Henderson family is not like those well-known entrepreneurs in Lindwood City. But in Imperial City, it's a giant with unfathomable power behind it. Are you sure you can handle it?"

William pinched his chin and teased, "Are you worried about me?"

Harper blushed, suddenly flustered by William's question. She stomped her foot and glared at him, saying, "If it weren't for Betty, I wouldn't bother reminding you!"

Then, she added, "Your wife and Evander are waiting for you in Suite 8429. The Cater family is well-prepared this time. Be careful."

William shook his head, watching Harper's graceful figure, and said with a smile, "Thanks, Harper. I'll treat you to dinner another day."

"No need. We're not that close," Harper said, glaring at him. What was wrong with William? He had a wife and still wanted to mess around with her?

Just as Harper was about to turn and leave, William suddenly asked, "How is the Price family doing now?"
