Chapter 419 Kill William
"What the hell do you mean?" Caius couldn't wrap his head around William's game but felt like he was getting played.
"Mr. Beaumont, did your wife smack you so hard you lost your marbles? I'm saying, you can buy all the shares back. According to the current market value, it's worth $300 million. Give me $1 billion, and it's yours. Deal?" William said with a smirk.
Caius was livid.
‘$300 million turned into $1 billion? This is daylight robbery!' Caius thought.
Caius shook his head, refusing, "Mr. Jones, why should I buy it? Infinity Insight Media's rep is trashed, and I don't have that kind of cash."
William stayed cool. "Mr. Beaumont, you're smart, but you're missing the big picture. Since I'm here today, I've got a way to make you buy back all the shares."
He then tossed some documents and files at Caius, saying coldly, "These are proof of your company's cooked books, shady deals, and a rape case you settled on the down-low. If this gets out, you're looking at twenty years behind bars. You've made a ton of money, but can you spend it in prison?"
Caius freaked out. He couldn't handle prison, especially with his dirty laundry aired out.
Sweating bullets, Caius finally caved. "I don't have that kind of money," he muttered.
William shook his head. "Account 0683 has exactly $1 billion. You know whose name it's under, right?"
Caius crumbled. Even his offshore account was found out.
In less than an hour, this guy had already unleashed a barrage of devastating moves.
It was truly terrifying!
Who exactly was he?
Caius collapsed onto the couch, trembling uncontrollably.William, still chill, said, "One price, $1 billion."
"$1 billion? You think I'm a pushover?" Caius snapped, fuming. His whole fortune was in that account. Over the years, he'd set up so many shell companies and side hustles behind his wife's back. Infinity Insight Media's rep was in the gutter. Buying it back for $1 billion would be like digging his own grave!
"Looks like you still don't get it. If this stuff gets handed over, you're doing twenty years. You think I can't get the money you have in the bank?" William said, unfazed.
If Caius kept being stubborn, William wouldn't hesitate to send him to prison.
Since he dared to mess with Mary, he should know what was coming!
"Are you threatening me?" Caius asked.
"Threatening? Nah, this is an order!" William declared, full of himself.
"Mr. Jones, don't push me too far! Othewise, we'll die together. I've got a powerful backer!" Caius shot back, stubbornly holding his ground.
He wasn't about to roll over and die. If he really bought it, there'd be no way out!
William grinned. "Then I'll be watching."
He didn't give a damn about Caius; it was the big fish behind him that mattered.
Caius was just a pawn; the real game was with his backers.
If he was gonna settle scores, he was gonna do it right and wipe out every threat.
No way he'd leave any danger hanging over BK Pharmaceuticals or Mary!
Caius clenched his fists, seething with rage.
Tonight was a total humiliation, but he wasn't about to back down!
"Patricia, let's wait outside until Mr. Beaumont makes up his mind," William said, strolling out of the mansion.
Apollo, lurking nearby, kept shooting Caius looks, signaling that he couldn't let William and his crew just walk away!
Caius, being the sly dog he was, caught Apollo's drift, and a cold gleam flashed in his eyes.
"Think you can just leave? Not a chance! Mess with me, and you'll be digging your own grave!" Caius muttered, his face twisted with fury.
He dialed a number. "Caspian! Bring the crew and stop them. If they resist, kill 'em!"
Apollo freaked out. "Mr. Beaumont, isn't this overkill? Just bring them back; no need to go all out."
"Are you kidding me? We've done worse! If he wants us dead, we won't play nice! Mr. Jones? Break his legs first, then finish him off slowly!" Caius snarled, eyes blazing with murderous intent.
At the mansion's entrance, Patricia was on edge. "Mr. Jones, Caius's backers aren't pushovers. Are we poking a hornet's nest here?"
"They asked for it! If they cross me, they'll pay," William declared coldly.
"Mr. Jones, I think we should call in some reinforcements. Caius won't let us off easy," Patricia said, quickly dialing a number.
But before she could finish, a gang of thugs with weapons surrounded them.
Seeing this, William smirked knowingly.
"Grab 'em! Don't let any of 'em get away!" Caspian yelled, charging with a baseball bat.
Patricia and the bodyguards formed a protective circle around William.
"Mr. Jones, you go first. We'll handle this!" Patricia shouted, leading the bodyguards to shield William.
Clad in a black trench coat and sheer black stockings that accentuated her long, slender legs, Patricia struck a combat pose with an undeniable allure.
"You all step aside. I'll take care of this myself," William declared, stepping forward.
But before she could argue, the thugs had already closed in, swinging their weapons.
Meanwhile, at BK Pharmaceuticals, a sleek black Audi rolled up to the entrance.
Sterling and Cassius stepped out, grinning coldly.
The showdown had begun!
