Chapter 39 Buy a Hundred First

What's going on? How did this fight start? Everyone, including Matthew, was speechless.
"Virgil, are you out of your mind? Why do you hit me?" Matthew was furious, his face flushed with embarrassment.
One moment, Virgil was trying to please him, and the next, he slapped him.
Margaret, seeing Matthew being hit, was instantly enraged. She rushed forward, pushed and shoved Virgil, and shouted, "Are you crazy? Who gave you the right to hit Matthew? If you don't explain today, we'll block your company and call the police!"
Virgil was filled with anger. He pushed away Margaret, who was being aggressive, and shouted, "Get lost! This guy, pretending to be Mr. Jones. He is lucky I didn't hit him harder! I'd like to skin him alive!"
As he cursed, Virgil glanced at William, who was standing nearby.
Then, ignoring the onlookers' angry shouts, he went straight to William, smiled obsequiously, and said. "I'm sorry. I mistook you for someone else. Are you okay? Do you want me to teach this ignorant guy a lesson?"
Virgil was referring to William.
This scene immediately silenced the surrounding onlookers.
William?
Virgil must be out of his mind!

He was actually apologizing to a good-for-nothing and calling him 'Mister,' which was simply an insult.
Matthew was also furious, feeling that he had completely lost face. He shouted." Virgil, are you out of your mind? What the Mister? His name is William, and he is a delivery boy. Do you know what you just did? Do you know what you're doing now?"
Matthew was on the verge of exploding.
Could it be that Virgil was an idiot, showing such respect to a good-for-nothing?
Virgil turned his face, adjusted his suit, and said coldly. "I don't need you to meddle in my affairs. What about you, Matthew? Why do you pretend to be Mr. Jones?"
Pretend?
Matthew was truly confused. He sneered at William and asked, "I want to pretend to be this idiot? Can't you see the difference between him and me? A useless person, what qualifications does he have to stand here?"
Before he could finish his sentence, Virgil punched Matthew in the face, causing his nose to bleed.
The crowd erupted.
Virgil had truly gone mad!
"Virgil, you're finished today! If you don't give me an explanation, I'll make you disappear from Lindwood City!" Matthew covered his nose, blood trickling through his fingers, and shouted angrily.
Margaret, feeling sorry for Matthew, quickly found a tissue to stop the bleeding, while pushing and shouting at Virgil. "Call the police, hurry up and call the police, arrest him!"
Virgil was furious. With a wave of his hand, he was about to slap Margaret in the face.
Margaret's eyes widened, and she closed them in fear.
But suddenly, a hand grabbed Virgil's wrist, and a cold voice said, "Virgil, don't go too far. She's my mother-in-law."
Who else could it be?
It was William.
He couldn't bear to see it anymore.
Virgil's heart t humped, and he trembled, feeling a chill.
She turned out to be William's mother-in-law.
Wait a minute, why was this mother-in-law always speaking up for outsiders?
Without thinking, Virgil quickly apologized to William. "I'm sorry, William, I don't know."
As he spoke, Virgil's tone changed, full of fear.
Now, everyone could see it.
Virgil, who had come all the way, was afraid of William.
Could it be that the earlier refund and check-out were because of William?
Everyone was wondering, including Margaret, who was also dumbfounded.
When did her good-for-nothing son-in-law become so capable?
William just gave Virgil a cold glance, and the latter quickly turned to apologize to Margaret. "Ms. Margaret, I'm sorry, I was too impulsive just now. I'll refund your money and return the three hundred thousand interest!"
Margaret, who was still angry, breathed a sigh of relief when she heard the word ‘money.’ and a smile couldn't help but appear on her face.
"Virgil, Really? Is there really three hundred thousand in interest?"
Margaret was a money lover, and as soon as she heard about the money, she forgot about Matthew behind her.
Virgil nodded and said, "Yes, you've been investing with us for so long, there must be a return."
"Great, that's fantastic! Can I get the three hundred thousand now?" Margaret's face lit up with happiness.
Before Virgil could answer, a group of people started shouting.
"No, Mr. Virgil, we also invested. Do we get a return?"
"Why should she be the only one to get a return!"
"I am the first one to invest in your company, shouldn't you refund me first?"
Faced with the angry crowd, Virgil had no choice but to shout, "What are you doing! She is William's mother-in-law, and I'm willing to give her a refund first, that's my business, all of you wait aside!"
Although the group of people was dissatisfied, their momentum was greatly reduced.
After all, whether they could get a refund or not depended on the CEO's decision.
So, they didn't dare to be too arrogant.
However, they became even more resentful and hateful toward Matthew.
That's human nature.
Because they couldn't get it, they resented it.
"What's going on? Isn't it Matthew who helped solve the problem? Why does it seem like William is the one Margaret is after?"
"You just realized that? Who is William? Isn't he a good-for-nothing?"
"Margaret is unreliable, and she's playing us."
A group of uncles and aunts gathered together, discussing with surprise and jealousy on their faces.
Margaret also realized that Virgil was actually targeting her son-in-law.
So, she quickly pulled William aside, smiling and flattering. "William, do you know Virgil?"
This enthusiasm was really the first time William had felt it.
William originally wanted to tell the truth, but after thinking about it, he said, "Mom, you misunderstood. How could I know a CEO like Virgil? I just called a classmate, and he happens to be in charge of this area. He should be the one who pressured him to make the call."
Margaret didn't doubt it, nodded, and said disappointedly, "I knew it. How could you, a good-for-nothing, know someone like Virgil?"
William frowned.
His mother-in-law changed her attitude too quickly.
"Alright, I'll take care of the rest, you don't have to say anything." Margaret said in a cold tone.
She was worried that William, this inexperienced guy, would say something wrong and ruin things, and she also wanted to show off in front of her old friends.
As soon as she thought of this, Margaret immediately turned her head and walked over to Virgil, accusing him, "I think a person should have a conscience. You can't just give me a rebate, and everyone should get a rebate."
Actually, Margaret was very nervous when she said this.
After all, she didn't know how powerful William's friend was, and whether he could suppress Virgil.
Especially when she saw Virgil frowning at the moment, she became even more nervous, and even prepared to change her words.
In case it didn't work, she would just return her own share.
But who knew that Virgil just frowned and then smiled and agreed. "Auntie, you're right; we should do things with a conscience, so according to what was originally agreed, everyone will get a rebate. You can go register now, and I'll have my staff go to the bank to withdraw the money later."
A few seconds of silence, followed by cheers.
"Thank you for your great fortune."
"Margaret, you're really amazing, thanks to you and your son-in-law."
"Margaret, are you hiding something from us? Don't you say that your son-in-law is bad?"
Suddenly, a group of uncles and aunts flattered and praised, making Margaret feel like she was floating.
Especially when it came to William, Margaret lied without a blush. "Oh, it's nothing, my son-in-law is actually quite good. He has known Virgil for a long time."
This made everyone even more flattering, which made Margaret feel extremely honored for the first time in her life.
As for Matthew, he was immediately excluded by everyone, and he glared angrily at William, and then left in a huff.
It was too embarrassing!
He was actually compared to William.
That idiot actually knew people.
As soon as he got in the car, he angrily called his father, "Dad, do you really help me ask?"
"What are you asking for! Get your ass back here and stop meddling. In a few days, there's a party at the Eagle Trade Group, hurry back and get ready." Herman Anderson's voice came from the phone.
After hanging up the phone, Matthew angrily pounded the steering wheel and gave William a fierce look out the car window. "William, I won't let you off!"
With the matter resolved, when Margaret returned home, she warned William. "You have to keep this secret for me today, you know? Otherwise, I'll make Mary divorce you! And next time, take me to meet your friend, I have to thank him in person."
In fact, Margaret was playing a good game in her heart, having another backup for her future son-in-law.
She wouldn't change her view of William because of today's incident.
A waste was always a waste.
William could only helplessly agree.
After everyone left, he and Virgil got into a Mercedes-Benz.
Not long after, the Mercedes-Benz stopped at the entrance of the Speed Takeout Company.
After William got out of the car, Alan and Virgil left.
Just as he arrived at the company's entrance, he saw Melissa holding Sarah, playing with her.
Melissa, this woman was really gentle and careful, and he could see that she liked Sarah very much.
Especially today, she was wearing a set of red hip-hugging waist dresses, her straight and slender legs wrapped in a thin layer of black silk, her wavy long hair scattered behind her, exuding a mature woman's charm.
"William, you're here." Melissa saw William and hurriedly walked over, smiling.
"Daddy." Sarah opened her arms, smiling happily, asking for a hug.
William took her, played with her for a while, and asked, "How does it go?"
"It's all set, we can go pick up the car now." Melissa replied, and then hesitantly asked, "William, are you really going to change all the cars in our company to Harley-Davidson? That's going to cost tens of millions."
William smiled, teasing Sarah, and said replied, "Yes, all of them."
Soon, Melissa drove William to the Harley-Davidson dealership on Maple Lea Road in a Volkswagen CC.
William walked into the store, and Melissa went to park.
As soon as he entered, a sweet voice came.
"Hello, sir, do you see the car? Which one do you like? and I can introduce it to you. This is our latest Harley-Davidson cruiser FXDRTM114, now on sale for 340,000."
With a hot figure, a trembling chest, fair skin, and a pair of black-framed glasses, the saleswoman with a smile on her face had already walked up to William.
"Well, how many do you have in your store?" William asked.
"How many?"
The saleswoman was taken aback. What did he mean by how many?
Seeing her slightly puzzled expression, William quickly explained, "Here's the thing. I really like Harley-Davidson, so I'm planning to buy a hundred of them for our company's employees to use as company cars."
Like Harley-Davidson.
So buy a hundred of them for the company's employees to use as company cars.
What did that mean?
Was he a local tyrant?
