Chapter 367 William is Angry

He could totally feel Harper shaking a bit next to him, maybe cause she was super emotional or just really pissed off.

"Hey sis, why so quiet? Is it cause I got the family biz and you can't stand me? I don't drop by often. At least offer me a drink," Endymion said, all smug.

Holding his wine glass, he showed off to his buddies, making them laugh coldly.

He was here just to mess with Harper.

Their dad, Montgomery Price, liked him more and even gave him the family business.

Harper was just the unwanted kid in the Price family.

Harper shot a cold look at Endymion and said, "I'm not your sister. Stop calling me that. It's gross!"

Endymion smirked, "That's not right. Even if we got different moms, we still got the same dad. As your bro, I should look out for you."

"I'm the chairman now. How about I invite you back and make you VP? Or maybe even general manager?" Endymion laughed, clearly mocking her.

"Endymion, if you got nothing else, just leave. You're not welcome here!" Harper snapped, her face icy, not wanting to waste words on him. Her eyes screamed disgust and anger.

"You wanna kick me out?" Endymion sneered, "Why so harsh? I'm just here to have fun and see how you're doing. Do you really hate me that much?"

Endymion sneered, his eyes gleaming with mischief, looking every bit the spoiled brat.

A few of the young men around him whispered and laughed mockingly.

"Endymion, I'm warning you! You're not welcome here. Leave now. I don't wanna see you again!" Harper snapped, her face like ice.

'Wow, I didn't think their beef was this bad,' William thought, looking at Harper in surprise.

Harper, who always seemed so strong and bossy in public, turned out to be pretty miserable. Her relationship with her dad and half-brother was trash!

And today, Endymion wasn't here just to drink; he was here to start trouble!

"Harper, you can't say that. You're still my sister. Even if I don't like it, you are a part of the Price family. Even if your mom was some country woman with no background, we're still family. Why make a fuss?" Endymion said, looking down on her like she was nothing.

Harper's fists clenched, and she glared at Endymion, sneering, "Don't you dare talk about my mom! If it wasn't for all of you, we wouldn't be homeless. Stop with your so-called compassion. Did you ever truly care about us?"

As she spoke, her eyes filled with tears, and her anger grew.

William knew she must've gone through hell to hate them this much.

At that moment, he finally got why Harper was so stubborn and sad.

Unable to stand Endymion's attitude, William asked softly, "Need me to help you out?"

"No, thanks," Harper said, holding back her tears. After a deep breath, she said, "This is my business. I don't need you to interfere. I can handle it."

"Alright, just call me if you need anything," William agreed.

This was Harper's family drama, and it wasn't his place to step in. But he couldn't just sit idly by while Endymion bullied her.

After saying this, William sat on the side but kept a close eye on things.

Endymion, feeling all high and mighty, walked up to Harper and sneered, "Oh, by the way, I found out some news about your mom, Brooklyn. Wanna hear it?"

This news was a big deal for Harper. Endymion came ready and was sure Harper would do whatever he said.

William's face darkened. He had a rough idea of what Endymion was gonna do next, and his eyes grew cold. Endymion was truly a jerk!

Even though he didn't know much about their family stuff, William guessed that Harper's mom, Brooklyn, was probably her weak spot.

Sure enough, when Harper heard that, she couldn't hide her shock. Tears started streaming down her face as she grabbed Endymion's arm and demanded, "What did you say? Are you serious? Where's my mom? Tell me! Tell me now!"

Harper had been searching for Brooklyn for years.

But Brooklyn seemed to have vanished into thin air, leaving no trace.

How could Harper not be excited by Endymion's words?

Endymion enjoyed Harper's reaction, letting her grab his arm before suddenly pulling away and saying indifferently, "Oh? Weren't you just saying I'm not welcome here?"

Harper wiped her tears and tried to calm down, but her trembling lips gave away her inner turmoil. She asked, "What do you want?"

Endymion chuckled, turned to his buddies with a smug gesture, and then faced Harper again. "As expected of my dear sister. I'll be straight with you. I want you to leave the Price family with nothing! Hand over your share of the inheritance too!"

Endymion was pissed because he found out Harper still had a chunk of the family inheritance.

Plus, their grandpa Tiberius was secretly helping Harper, even setting up a new drug deal with BK Pharmaceuticals.

Was this a move to bring Harper back into the Price family to compete with him for the inheritance?

Harper's face twitched as she stared at Endymion. She had worked so hard for so long just to one day return to the Price family and reclaim everything that once belonged to her and her mother.

She couldn't give up!

But she also couldn't abandon her mom.

Noticing Harper's hesitation, Endymion burst into laughter and said, "Look! My dear sister wants to ditch her lonely mom for money and status."

He continued, "Your mother might be out there in some dark alley, starving and praying to see her daughter one day. Little does she know, the chance to reunite is right here, but her daughter hesitates."

Harper's body trembled uncontrollably.

Every word Endymion said was a stab to the heart.

This was his goal tonight!

"Endymion, you bastard! Tell me where my mom is! Tell me!" Harper screamed hysterically, grabbing his collar and shaking him violently.

"Get off!" Endymion shouted, pushing her away, his face dark as he sneered, "Harper, can you really bear to let your mom continue to suffer on the streets? If you agree to leave the Price family, I'll take you to see her right away. What do you think?"

With that, he shamelessly took a sip of his drink, looking arrogantly at Harper.

Harper, filled with rage, couldn't suppress her anger. Her body trembled uncontrollably.

She really wanted to kill Endymion right now!

She wanted to repay the humiliation she and Brooklyn had suffered tenfold, even a hundredfold!

But she seemed so weak, pitiful, and helpless in front of Endymion.

William had been watching them, and his gaze grew colder.

'When did the Price family become so filthy? Indeed, every family has its hidden dark side,' William thought to himself.

At this moment, a voluptuous woman in a black tank top stepped out from the group behind Endymion.

With a disdainful sneer, she linked arms with Endymion and said, "Endymion, your sister isn't much, just like an abandoned bastard."

Hearing the word "bastard," Harper trembled with anger.

She bit her lip, tears welling up in her eyes, and glared viciously at the woman!

She hated being called a bastard the most. However, she could only swallow her pride in the Price family.

Brooklyn was a rural woman who had caught Montgomery's eye when she was young and was brought into the Price family.

But Endymion's mother, Audrey, was a wealthy lady who brought significant benefits to the family.

So, even though Harper was Montgomery's first daughter, she was never acknowledged.

She hated it. She hated that family. She hated Montgomery!

"Bastard? That's right!" Endymion said, laughing heartily.

Suddenly, a cold voice sounded from the side. "How could the Price family have a scum like you?"

William finally couldn't hold back any longer. After watching for so long, he slowly stood up.
