Chapter 165 Want to Know?

George quickly replied, "Okay, I'll get right on it."

With that, George hung up the phone and started contacting people.

However, more than ten minutes later, William still hadn't received a call from George, and he began to feel uneasy.

George couldn't be so slow.

Just as he was about to call and ask, George's call came through. His tone carried a hint of helplessness, "Mr. Jones, I can't buy BK Pharmaceuticals."

William was taken aback, his brows furrowing as he reprimanded. "What's going on? You can't handle just a BK Pharmaceuticals?"

"Mr. Jones, BK Pharmaceuticals changed its executive director half a month ago. It's now owned by Susan," George replied, his tone somewhat worried.

William's romantic debts are something he truly cannot handle himself.

"Susan? Why did she buy BK Pharmaceuticals?"

William was stunned, his brows knitting into a line, but he quickly understood.

Could the trouble at BK Pharmaceuticals be caused by Susan herself?

Is it because of Mary?

"Okay, I got it."

William said calmly andhung up the phone. After hesitating for a moment, he dialed Susan's number.

Before he could speak, a lazy and seductive voice came from the other end. "William, you finally called me."

"Susan, what are you trying to do? Is the trouble at BK Pharmaceuticals caused by you?"

William was in a foul mood. He felt guilty towards Susan, but if this matter involved Mary, he would rather be a scumbag.

"Yes," Susan replied straightforwardly, then she chuckled. "George just contacted me. You want to buy BK Pharmaceuticals to help Mary out of her predicament. Let me tell you the truth, no way!"

Yes, the current predicament of BK Pharmaceuticals was orchestrated by Susan with the White family's influence.

No pharmaceutical company in the city would cooperate with BK Pharmaceuticals.

Anyone who dared to cooperate would face the wrath of the White family.

Susan didn't care about a small BK Pharmaceuticals. She bought it just to suppress and torment Mary.

It was purely for amusement.

This was how the wealthy played.

William's eyes suddenly turned cold, and he sighed. "Where are you? Let's meet."

"Okay, SK Coffee Shop."

Susan said and then hung up the phone.

Her previously cold expression turned into one of excitement and joy, justike a little girl. She bounced to her wardrobe, constantly flipping through her expensive and elegant clothes, trying them on and taking them off in front of the mirror, comparing which one looked best.

Any man would be captivated bySusan's fallure.

It was clear that Susan was very happy now, her whole being radiating happiness.

"Tell me, how do I look in this?"

Susan looked at her perfect reflection in the mirror, dressed like a delicate princess.

Her personal assistant, standing by, kept giving suggestions with a smile. "This one looks great. William will definitely like it."

Susan hadn't been this happy in a long time.

"Really? Will he like it?"

Susan pouted, her face showing a faint sadness she couldn't hide, as she looked at the perfect beauty in the mirror from different angles.

Anyone else would be astonished by her ethereal beauty.

After half an hour, Susan, in a sky-blue dress, wearing sunglasses and holding an LV wallet, elegantly left the hotel and got into the prepared white Bentley at the entrance.

.

At the SK Coffee Shop, William had arrived early and waited for about twenty minutes before seeing an extraordinarily graceful woman walking in.

The moment Susan saw William, her heart pounded, but she forced herself to stay calm. She walked gracefully, step by step, to sit quietly across from William, took off her sunglasses, and looked at him calmly.

"Have you been waiting long?" Susan asked in a calm voice.

"Just a little while." William replied, glancing at Susan across from him. She was still so exquisite.

Although Susan appeared calm on the surface, her heart was racing like a deer. Under the table, her delicate hands tightly clutched her skirt.

It had been so many years since she had sat face-to-face with William like this.

William was still charming, exuding a faint arrogance.

The aura was imperceptible to others, but Susan could feel it.

They were once considered a perfect match by everyone, but those days were gone.

"Tell me, what will it take for you to sell BK Pharmaceuticals to me?" William spoke up, his time was limited.

"Divorce Mary, and I'll sell you BK Pharmaceuticals," Susan said bluntly.

"That's impossible," William replied.

William knew that meeting Susan today, he wouldn't avoid these issues.

However, divorcing Mary was something he would never agree to.

"Then there's nothing to discuss. BK Pharmaceuticals is my pawn to torment Mary. If you don't want her to suffer, divorce her. William, to be honest, I've never failed to get what I want, including you."

Susan made it clear, her demeanor turning cold.

Susan hated Mary deeply, because she had intruded into William's life.

William raised an eyebrow and calmly said, "Susan, don't try to test my patience. If I want BK Pharmaceuticals, no one can stop me. Even the White family , it is just a subsidiary in Imperial City in my eyes. I'll ask you one last time, what will it take for you to sell BK Pharmaceuticals to me?"  William had lost his patience, his expression growing colder.

Susan kept silent for a moment, then conceded, "Next week is my birthday. I want you to accompany me, that's my only condition."

William's heart trembled, his eyes widened, and after a moment of contemplation, he nodded. "Alright."

With that, he got up and left SK Coffee Shop.

In the exquisite and quite coffee shop, only Susan was left. Tears uncontrollably fell from the corners of her eyes.

After sitting for a while, Susan also got up and left.

The next day, Mary left home and went to the company, only to find the atmosphere very unusual.

As soon as she entered, all the employees were lined up at the door, bowing and smiling, "Mrs. Smith."

Mary was completely taken aback.

"What are you all doing?" Mary was bewildered. She had have a restless night worrying about the company's issues.

Larry came out and smiled. "Mary, from today on, you are the executive director of our company. I've resigned."

What a shocking news!

Mary was completely stunned. Larry resigned, and she became the executive director?

"Mr. Hall, you must be joking."

Mary was utterly confused. What was going on?

Larry dismissed the crowd and led Mary to the conference room, where all company investors were seated.

When they saw Mary, they all stood up, clapping and congratulating, "Congratulations, Mrs. Smith. you are truly young and promising."

Mary was trembling. She kept nodding and bowing in greeting. She had seen these people before, they were the company's investors, all billionaires.

Larry took out a document and handed it to Mary. "We had a meeting last night and decided that the company is best in your hands. This is the equity document. You now own sixty percent of the company's shares, making you the largest shareholder."

Last night, Larry received Susan's order to transfer the company's shares, with sixty percent going to Mary.

Suddenly, Mary became the executive director of BK Pharmaceuticals.

Larry didn't dare to ask questions, just followed orders. He had sold all his shares, making four hundred million.

With BK Pharmaceuticals facing such a huge crisis, he was also troubled. Selling his shares for a profit was a good move.

As Mary saw the signatures of the directors on the document, she was completely shocked. The company was now hers?

"Mr. Hall, what is going on? Are you all joking?"

Mary wasn't foolish, this was too good to be true.

Larry coughed and explained, "Mrs. Smith, to be honest, the company is in a very difficult period. I've sold the company, and the board unanimously decided to appoint you as the executive director. As for the shares, you don't need to worry. If BK Pharmaceuticals pulls through, your net worth will multiply. If not, you won't lose anything."

Mary was still in shock.

The company's assets were worth at least several billion.

Even after having lunch at the company, she couldn't digest the morning's events.

Especially sitting in the large director's office, Mary was full of confusion.

Should she tell William and her family about this?

Could it be William's doing?

Probably not, given the company's current dire situation.

The overdue orders and penalties exceeded six billion.

William probably didn't have that kind of power.

After thinking for a while, Mary called William, her voice hushed and somewhat sneaky, "William, I have something to tell you. This morning, the company board decided to make me the executive

Director. Now I own sixty percent of the shares. I still don't understand what's going on."

William was on his way to the hospital and, hearing Mary's secretive tone, he laughed. "Want to know?"
