Chapter 327 Accident

Margaret's heart skipped a beat when she met William's chilling gaze.

What did he mean?

"Take care of yourself," William said coldly, then turned and left Villa No.1, taking Alan's car to the hospital.

Margaret was left standing alone in the villa, looking around at the departing crowd, feeling lost.

'Damn William, why is he acting so arrogant?' she cursed, both flustered and scared.

William's last words left her with an indescribable feeling.

Was it a warning?

Meanwhile, after arriving at the hospital, William rushed into the ward. He finally relaxed when he saw Mary resting on the bed.

Sitting by the bed, he gently touched Mary's forehead. The injuries on her face were still shocking.

Damn the branch family!

William's anger had not subsided.

Mary opened her eyes, and when she saw William, her eyes were full of tenderness and dependence. She said, "Is it resolved?"

William nodded and then apologized. "I'm sorry, Mary. Because of me, you got dragged into this."

Mary propped herself up and smiled, saying gently, "It's okay. You're my husband. We'll face any difficulties together."

William grasped her hand tightly, feeling very grateful, his eyes slightly moist. "Mary, thank you for understanding me. Although I'm your husband, I feel like I haven't done enough. There are many things I can't tell you right now. I hope you understand."

Mary reached out and touched his head, a gentle smile on her lips. "William, I believe in you. I'm your wife, and Sarah is your daughter. We will support you unconditionally and stand behind you."

Mary loved William; she always had, despite the quarrels and thoughts of divorce.

But she never wanted to go through with it, preferring to have conflicts with her family and drag it out.

She believed that William would change one day.

Now, William had changed a lot, enough for her to rely on.

So, Mary believed in him.

"Mary, if I lose everything one day, will you divorce me?" William suddenly asked, looking up.

Mary answered without hesitation, "No."

They looked at each other, their eyes filled with gentle love.

Not long after, William got up to visit Sarah.

William's anger flared up again when he saw the injuries on Sarah's face.

He had asked the doctor about Mary, and Mary was fine. The baby in her belly was fine too, but she needed to stay in the hospital for a few days for observation.

Afterward, William went to check on Craig, who was still sound asleep.

Alan smiled wryly, saying, "Mr. Jones, don't blame him. The opponent was too strong and he couldn't hold up."

William shook his head and said, "It's okay. Take good care of him."

About an hour later, Nicholas rushed in, his face cold. After seeing Mary and Sarah, he flew into a rage, shouting, "Damn the offshoots, they still won't behave! I'm going back to wipe them out!"

Nicholas was very angry. He had been handling matters out of town for the past few days. As soon as he returned to Lindwood City, he heard the news from his subordinates and immediately flew into a rage.

William quickly pulled the departing Nicholas back, trying to calm him down. "It's okay. It's all resolved."

"Resolved? No, it's not! They're are being very arrogant, daring to touch your wife and daughter! They're asking for trouble!" Nicholas shouted furiously.

He had brought dozens of well-trained guards with him, all gathered at the hospital entrance.

William held Nicholas back, and they talked for a long time before Nicholas calmed down.

Nicholas analyzed the situation after calming down. "William, what are you planning to do? The heads of the offshoots and the Hall of Justice won't let this go easily. You don't have a strong foundation in the family right now and they could easily bring you down."

Although William was the heir of the main family, he couldn't withstand the combined pressure from the branch family and the Hall of Justice.

If the situation became uncontrollable, his status as the heir might not be retained to stabilize the overall situation.

William smiled faintly, saying, "It's okay. I have plans. They're just a bunch of old fools. I'm waiting to see what they'll do. To be honest, I really want to see how powerful they are."

Nicholas glanced at William and, for a moment, saw a shadow of Mario in him.

William was increasingly showing the demeanor of a family heir.

Nicholas said, "Alright, I'll make a trip for you. I'll return to the island tonight to intimidate those offshoots and buy you some time."

He then stood up, exuding an air of dominance, puffed on his pipe and exhaled smoke. He placed his hand on William's shoulder and said earnestly, "William, I believe in you. Don't disappoint me, and don't disappoint your father. We're all waiting for you to come back."

William looked up at Nicholas and saw his dashing figure walking away.

Nicholas was full of vigor and had the bearing of a great leader.

If that incident hadn't happened back then, Nicholas's daughter, Calix Jones, would be about the same age as him.

To be honest, William missed her.

He wondered how she was doing now.

He hoped she could make it through.

He had come from there himself, and everyone there was talented and eloquent.

He hoped Calix could come out transformed, shedding his bad temper.

After sitting in the hospital for a while, William prepared to return to the villa to get some things.

Halfway there, he suddenly sensed something was off.

He paused and quickly turned around, seeing two bright headlights speeding toward him.

The lights grew brighter, which could temporarily blind an ordinary person.

But William reacted quickly, dodging the lights and seeing the figures inside the car.

"One, two, three..."

Who were these people?

Were they from the branch family?

Probably not.

Had Jessica sent them?

William sneered inwardly, having already assessed the personnel in the car.

This car was obviously modified and was extremely fast, and the headlights were ten times brighter than those of a regular car!

William gave the car speeding toward him a cheeky middle finger, then raised an eyebrow and smiled, leaping into the air.

Just as the car was about to hit him, the three people inside saw him give them the middle finger.

The driver squinted and immediately floored the gas pedal.

Someone commanded, "Run him over!"

But they found that William had vanished from in front of the car.

The car stopped.

The atmosphere was extremely tense.

Suddenly, there was a loud bang on the roof, as if someone was stomping on it with great force!

At the same time, William's smiling face appeared at the driver's window, his white teeth gleaming. He said, "It's late. Why aren't you guys sleeping?"

The man with a scar on his face in the passenger seat pulled out a gun and fired at the window.

A gunshot rang out on the bustling city street.

But William vanished from the window like a ghost.

Someone asked, "Where did he go?"

The three people in the car looked serious, unable to believe that someone could be faster than a bullet.

When they spotted William again, they saw him leap into the window of a red sports car passing by.

He even gave them another middle finger from the window.

William was well-trained and a top-tier car expert.

A man shouted, "After him!"

The three people in the black car decisively floored the gas pedal and sped after him.

Meanwhile, in the red Porsche ahead, a stylish and seductive woman was looking at William in the passenger seat with disbelief.

She opened her mouth wide, then laughed a few times.

"You're amazing!" she exclaimed.

William turned to her, a girl in her early twenties, her eyes shining as she looked at him, speaking a language he didn't understand!

Damn, a woman from Korania?

This girl was beautiful.

She was dressed fashionably, with large metal earrings, a tight black tank top, and ultra-short hot pants.

Her figure was also seductive with perfect curves.

William was quite lucky; he had just randomly picked a car and ended up with such a stunning beauty.

When the girl had seen William jump in through the window, she wasn't scared at all. Instead, she was very excited, as if she had seen something extraordinary.

William listened for a while but didn't understand a word because she kept speaking in Korania's language.

"Miss, can you speak English?" William couldn't help but ask.

The woman blinked her charming eyes and smiled, saying, "My name is Scarlett Ashford. What's yours?"

"William," William replied helplessly, realizing she could speak English after all.

"Wow! I know, I know! You're that car god William? I've heard Rodolfo mention you," Scarlett said excitedly, her eyes full of disbelief and joy.
