Chapter 111: A Billion?! Margaret Went Crazy
Since he knew about the relationship between William and Rex, and they weren't that close, Roy's respect for William disappeared.
William was just someone Rex met at the exhibition and Rex took him too seriously.

"From a Middle Ages emperor?" Roy was dumbfounded, his eyes wide open, staring straight at the ring in Rex's hand!

Wade instantly turned gloomy, lost in thought. ‘William really gives something good. Where does William get the money?’
"Tyler, is it valuable?" Margaret nudged Tyler beside her and asked.
If it were before, Margaret would have thought of a way to get the ring back.
‘William is such a spendthrift, giving away something so valuable,’ she pondered.
Tyler was also flushed at this moment, wishing he could rush over and take a closer look himself. He said excitedly, "Valuable, even priceless! Two years ago, an emperor's necklace was auctioned for thirty million!"
"What? Thirty million?!" Margaret exclaimed loudly in excitement.
Suddenly, everyone's eyes were on Margaret, who quickly covered her mouth and smiled sheepishly.
But inside, Margaret was cursing William to death. Such a spendthrift!
However, the next second, Rex shook his head and said, "Roy, I think this ring is worth more than thirty million!"
These words really created a stir.
Roy quickened his breathing, his face flushed. Then he stared straight at the ring, smiling broadly. "Mr. Ingram, could you give an estimate to it?"
Rex pondered, then raised a finger solemnly. "At least a billion!"
Upon hearing this, Margaret fainted on the spot, falling backward!
Fortunately, Tyler and the others were quick to catch her, giving her water. It took a lot of effort to wake her up.
Now, Margaret was limp all over, her hands trembling uncontrollably, muttering, "William, you spendthrift. Where did you get this ring worth a billion? How dare you just give it away?"
Margaret was filled with hatred and stared at the ring, wishing she could swallow it!
‘If William hasn’t given it away, it would be hers! A billion! No, I have to get it back!’ Margaret made up her mind and pretended to be sick, clutching her chest.
How could Roy not see through Margaret's trick? He glared at her coldly, saying, "Margaret, since William gave it, it's now the Turner family's. If you're not feeling well, I'll have Dorothy take you home first."
Hearing this, Margaret had no need to continue pretending, quickly sitting up straight. Her face was full of resentment and gloom.

" Bought accidentally? What's going on?" Roy asked, puzzled.
Rex explained for a while. Everyone suddenly understood, their suspicions about William instantly disappearing.

After Rex left, Roy had someone keep the ring carefully.

William was really foolish.

Margaret made up her mind. She had always been greedy and wouldn't give up something so valuable.
William and Mary were in Alan's car, ready to go back.
In the car, Mary was very nervous. After all, the person sitting in front was the Underground King of Lindwood City.
William also knew that Mary was suspicious of his identity, so he quickly said, "Alan, thanks. Just drop me off at the hospital."
Alan was startled but quickly understood, smiling as he replied. "No problem. Come over for coffee sometime. I still need your help with that thing from last time."
‘What is it?’ Mary was puzzled, her eyes constantly shifting to William. She secretly pinched his waist, biting her lip and muttering, "William, when we get back, you have to give me an explanation."
With a glance, William understood and felt a headache coming on.
"Mr. Jordan, it seems like we're being followed." Not long after they started driving, as they were about to leave the estate, the driver noticed something was wrong.
"William, what should we do about these people?" Alan glanced at the rearview mirror and asked.
"Ignore them," William said calmly, having a good idea of who it was but not wanting to make enemies now.
Alan nodded and said no more.
But soon, just as the car left, two vans behind them sped up and forced the Mercedes to stop.
Several tattooed men with clubs got out of the vans. "Get out! Get out of the car!"
The leader, a man with a buzz cut, exuded a chilling aura. He banged a steel rod against the Mercedes, pointing at the people inside and shouting menacingly.
