Chapter 96 A Bloody Massacre!

William held Mary tightly in his embrace, his cold eyes reflecting a raging chill.
Today, he was going to get even with those people!
He would let them pay the most painful price for their actions just now!
"Mary, wait for me. I'll deal with this issue first, then we'll talk about it when we get back, okay?" In William's eyes, there was nothing but tenderness for Mary as he gently caressed her cheek.
"Okay." Mary nodded; she believed William.
William was her husband, the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.
Why shouldn't she believe in him?
Should she waver just because of a few words from Susan?
Whatever William's identity was, whatever the Jones family did, Mary didn't want to know anymore.
As long as William stayed by her side, nothing else mattered.
Since William didn't want to talk about it, she wouldn't push him.
She knew William must have his reasons.
She was willing to wait for the day when William would talk about it of his own accord.
"Gilbert, are you okay?" A few of the hooligans got up and hurriedly gathered around Gilbert, helping him.
Presently, Gilbert displayed two fractured incisors, a mouth awash with blood, and his nose also spurting fresh crimson fluid.
"Damn it! What are you waiting for? Kill him for me!"
Gilbert held his face in so much pain that he couldn't straighten his back.
Gilbert had never been so humiliated.
Nor had he expected himself to be brought down by an ordinary young man.
“Damn it!”
At this moment, William had already carried Mary to the side, and then he slowly stood up, the coldness emanating from him mercilessly ravaging the hall.
"You all should die!"
With a furious shout!
William charged out swiftly, picked up a wooden chair nearby, and smashed it down on the head of one of the hooligans!
The wooden chair shattered, and the hooligan screamed in agony; his head split open. He collapsed backward into a pool of blood. It was indeed a ghastly sight.
Then, William moved in close, adopting a fighting stance, and instantly threw a punch, smashing it hard into Gilbert's face.
Gilbert didn't even see how the punch was thrown before he felt a blast of air, followed by a massive fist smashing into his face, and once again, his nose took a brutal hit!
Blood sprayed!
Gilbert screamed in pain as he was sent flying backward!
The remaining hooligans were stunned, completely dumbfounded.
Their minds went blank at the moment.

In less than a minute, all of them were knocked down by William, unable to get up.
Many onlooking customers and waiters gasped at the sight, their scalps tingling!
They were shocked by the incredible strength William showed and even wondered if he was a warrior.
"My God! He's so ruthless!"
"That's Gilbert; he's in big trouble now."
"It's over; hurry up and find the manager; tell him Gilbert has been beaten!"
Amidst the shock, a waiter hurriedly ran out.
The assault on Gilbert was a grave matter indeed.
Meanwhile, in the crowd, a few people kept their eyes fixed on William.
Lisa was among them; she had made plans to dine here with a few friends today. Seeing William lose his temper, she, too, was genuinely frightened.
"Is he really a good-for-nothing? How could he be so powerful?" Lisa was puzzled and agitated.
She asked Craig to teach William a lesson last time, but it ended in failure, and she herself was severely reprimanded by Craig, who cut ties with her. As for the reason, Craig didn't tell her, only saying that if she ever bothered William again, she would bear the consequences!
She didn’t think a good-for-nothing would be a match for Craig.
"Lisa, is this the ‘loser’ you were referring to?"
"That guy is so fierce!"
"No matter how fierce, he's beaten Gilbert, the younger brother of the Polaris Sky Restaurant's manager! He's done for!"
Lisa's friends looked at William with disdain.
Lisa's brows furrowed as she sneakily took out her phone and captured the moment of William in action.
At this moment, William, shaking off his hands, his face cold, was beyond anger.
Lucky that he had learned a few fighting skills from Andres, never expecting they would actually come in handy.
Originally, William didn't want to reveal his skills, but now, all he wanted to do was to vent his rage!
Without a word, William rushed over to Gilbert, lifted his foot, and stomped hard on Gilbert's abdomen, then raised his fist and punched Gilbert's chin!
Teeth flew, and Gilbert spewed blood.
All this was nothing compared to the violence they had inflicted on Mary!
"You little punk! How dare you hit me! You're seeking your demise!" Gilbert was looking at William with a face full of horror, snarling viciously. "My brother is Hubert Simmons, the manager of this restaurant!"
William delivered another kick, smashing it hard into Gilbert's waist. Gilbert screamed in agony, curling up like a shrimp, his face turning red.
That kick nearly burst Gilbert's kidney!
"I'll ask just once, who sent you here?" William's face was dark as he grabbed Gilbert's hair, demanding an answer.
Gilbert, stubborn, let out a bloodied sneer, "No one sent me. I just thought your wife looked pretty, and I wanted her. How about that?"
William's hand swung, and a fierce slap rang, buzzing in Gilbert's head.
"Who sent you?" William demanded again, his eyes flashing with murderous intent.
Gilbert, tough as nails, still held his head high, sneering, "Your wife's got a real nice figure, so hot. You surely can't satisfy her, right? How about we share?"
William's expression turned icy, and he punched straight in the face.
"Stop!"
Just then, a furious shout came from the entrance of the hall.
A portly middle-aged man, accompanied by a dozen people, charged in from outside.
When the waiters in the restaurant saw the man, they all bowed respectfully and called out, "Hubert."
 Hubert had arrived!
Hubert, coming in with his entourage, saw his brother beaten to a pulp and was instantly enraged.
"Who are you? Why did you hit my brother?"
Hubert's face was dark, the flesh around his mouth trembling. The dozen men behind him instantly surrounded the hall, and unrelated bystanders were blocked outside.
William set down the nearly unconscious Gilbert, stood up straight, hands in his pockets, and looked at Hubert indifferently, sneering, “You’re the manager of this restaurant?"
Hubert, his face full of anger, shouted, "Yes, I am the manager here! You've caused trouble on my turf, even injuring my brother. How do you plan to meet your end?"
His tone was chilling and brooked no argument.
Hubert had made up his mind; this guy had to be taught a severe lesson!
Otherwise, how could Hubert continue to be the manager here?
How could he continue to get by in Lindwood City?
William calmly pulled out a cigarette, lit it, and said calmly, "Your turf? Then I really want to see what you can do to me."
Everyone was astonished.
They hadn't expected William to be so reckless, completely refusing the soft approach and opting for the hard.
That was Hubert, a notorious figure in these streets.
He had men, money, and power.
At this moment, the crowd was buzzing with discussion.
"I told you he was done for offending them; he doesn't have enough lives to play with."
"He seems to be that woman's husband; he's too arrogant, thinking he can take on a dozen men by himself?"
"Just a hothead, now he's done for. That woman will probably be taken away by the Simmons soon; what a pity!"
Lisa blinked, secretly filming, and now frowned helplessly.
This William, really ignorant of his own good, actually trying to challenge Hubert, was simply courting death.
Good, let him suffer; consider it revenge for herself.
Thinking this, Lisa's eyes showed a thick disdain and contempt, as well as a schadenfreude.
Hubert, hearing William's words, was also taken aback and then let out a ferocious sneer. "Alright, You, lad, are quite bold. I am curious to see if you are more resilient than others!"
Mary had been watching from the side, and now she was very nervous and scared. Just as she was about to stand up, William turned his head, smiling gently. "It's okay. Just rest there. Today, you'll see another side of me."
Mary was slightly startled, seeing confidence in William's eyes, then she sat back down.
For some reason, she felt a profound sense of security from William.
As if, as long as he was there, there was nothing to fear.
Mary was curious: another side of William?
What would that be?
