Chapter 373 Llewellyn Arrives

Margaret was freakin' out; she couldn't imagine life without the villa. It was her everything.

"William, what the hell are you doing?" Margaret asked, already knowing the answer but still panicking.

Delia and Ulysses, standing nearby, pointed at William and yelled, "Margaret, how dare William treat us like that? Who the fuck does he think he is? Is he the boss of this house now?"

That hit a nerve with Margaret. She was so proud that she couldn't stand anyone saying William was running the show.

She plopped down on the ground, beating her chest and wailing, "I was a fool to let Mary marry you! You jerk! You've been mooching off us for three years, and now you wanna kick me out. How dare you?"

Margaret yelled loudly, causing William to frown.

The security guards who rushed in exchanged bewildered looks, unsure of how to handle the situation.

It was clearly a family mess.

Following Margaret's lead, Delia scolded, "William, I've had it with you. You're a disgrace. How dare you treat me like this. I'm totally gonna expose you!"

Delia was undoubtedly on Margaret's side.

Whether she could stay in the villa depended on Margaret.

But William just gave Delia a cold stare and said in a chilling tone, "Do you really think this villa belongs to Margaret?"

"If not, then whose is it?" Delia muttered defiantly, full of disdain and mockery.

William tossed the property deed in front of her and said, "Take a good look."

Stunned, Delia picked up the deed with trembling hands and opened it. The names on it were Mary and William's, with Margaret added later.

Moreover, there was a clause stating that Margaret's name could be removed at any time.

In other words, the villa belonged to Mary and William.

William was the real owner.

Delia was now in a panic, sweating bullets.

Delia thought to herself, 'William must've really worked Mary to get his name on the deed. How infuriating!'

But she couldn't say it aloud.

With a forced smile, she handed the deed back and said, "William, it was just a misunderstanding. After all, we're family. Can't we talk this out? I know I was wrong. Can you forgive me?"

Ulysses was stunned that Delia had backed down.

Did that mean the villa was William's?

Nancy, who had been indifferent, was also shocked by Delia's actions.

Her eyes blinked as she stared at William.

Meanwhile, Delia pulled Margaret aside and whispered, "Margaret, why don't we apologize? After all, William is your son-in-law. Just swallow your pride, or we'll really be kicked out with nowhere to go."

Delia didn't care about Margaret's feelings; what mattered was that she could stay in the villa.

Margaret was taken aback, her mind racing as she glanced at William several times.

Then she stood up and said in a muffled voice, "William, if I apologize, will you not kick us out?"

William said nothing, just looked at her coldly.

Although Margaret was unwilling, the situation was against her. She lowered her head and said, "I'm sorry, William. I know I was wrong. Please forgive me."

As soon as she finished, Delia chimed in, "I also apologize. Don't take my thoughtless words to heart, William."

She then nudged Ulysses, who quickly put on a smile and said, "William, we're family. Let's just let it go."

Everyone looked eagerly at William, waiting for his response.

William frowned slightly, thought for a moment, and said, "Fine, but Margaret, come with me."

As he spoke, his gaze fixed on Margaret, making her shiver.

Margaret thought to herself, 'What does he want? Is he coming to settle a score with me? But I already apologized!'

"What more do you want?" Margaret asked, holding back her anger and feeling very displeased.

"I've already said, this villa has nothing to do with you anymore," William said, then turned and walked out.

Margaret knew she had messed up and quickly ran after him.

Soon, they arrived at the management office of the residential area.

William sat on the sofa, facing the manager responsible for all villa matters.

"Remove her name," William said coldly.

Just then, Margaret rushed in, crying and shouting, "No! This is my villa! William, you're pushing me to the brink. I'm Mary's mother! How can you treat me like this? I'll tell Mary!"

How dare William treat her like this?

Margaret regretted it and felt very resentful.

William just sat there, ignoring her completely.

The manager took a quick glance and went to handle it. In no time, Margaret's name was off the property deed. From now on, Villa No.1 had nothing to do with her.

Margaret was totally floored.

It was all gone. Everything was gone.

Margaret cursed, "You jerk, how dare you treat me like this? I'm Mary's mother. Are you crazy? Put my name back on! This is my villa, bought by my daughter. You tricked my daughter!"

She was beyond furious, causing a scene in the office.

She plopped down on the ground, rolling and crying.

William gave her a cold glance and said, "Did you forget what Mary said? This villa was bought by me!"

With that, he turned and left the sales office.

Margaret caused a scene for a while, then ran back in disgrace.

The situation had already happened; now she needed to find a way to fix it.

She ran to the hospital to find Mary. As soon as she entered, she cried out, "Mary, William bullied me so badly. I don't want to live anymore! I'm going to die!"

With that, she ran to the window, opened it, and pretended to jump.

Mary anxiously pulled her back, full of confusion. "Mom, what happened? Let's talk it out."

Margaret, who was just putting on a show, immediately sat on the sofa and started crying, recounting what happened just now.

"I just let Ulysses and his family stay for a few days, and William treated us like this. He even removed my name from the property deed," she wailed.

She left out the key points and lied, making herself look like the victim.

Mary frowned upon hearing this.

After all, they were family, and William's actions seemed wrong.

"Mom, I'll call William and talk to him, alright?" Mary said reassuringly, not suspecting that Margaret was lying.

She walked to the bedside, picked up her phone, and dialed William's number, but it rang for a long time with no answer.

"Mom, William might be busy. How about I ask him tonight?" Mary said.

Margaret, still angry, picked up her bag and said, "Fine, but tonight you must be on my side. No matter what, my name must be put back on the deed."

With that, she turned and left.

Outside the hospital, Margaret was muttering to herself, feeling very displeased. After a few steps, two burly men blocked her path.

"Who are you? Can't you see where you're going?" she snapped.

However, a voice greeted her, "Hello, ma'am. I'm Llewellyn, William's cousin. Nice to meet you."

A handsome figure emerged from behind the two burly men, signaling them to step aside.

Margaret was immediately frightened and stepped back repeatedly.

She remembered that last time, it was William's cousin who had hit her.

Now another cousin had appeared. How many cousins did William have?

"What do you want? Don't hit me. I don't know anything," Margaret said, covering her face in fear, ready to leave.

Llewellyn quickly stopped her and smiled. "Ma'am, you've misunderstood me. I'm here to apologize for my brother's offense last time."

As he spoke, he took out a bank card and said, "There's not much on this—just a million dollars. Think of it as compensation for last time. Please, take it."

Margaret's eyes widened, and she grabbed it immediately. She quickly wore a fawning smile and said, "Oh, it's nothing. By the way, are you looking for William? I'll take you back."

Llewellyn smiled and said, "Alright then. Please, take my car."

Margaret was very happy. Then she found his car was a Bentley.

Although William was useless, his cousins were quite wealthy and generous.

Soon, they arrived back at Villa No.1.

It was Llewellyn's first time there, and he behaved very courteously, sitting in the living room.

"Llewellyn, have some tea. I made it myself," Margaret said attentively.

Delia and the others were not there; they had gone back to pack their things.

Just then, Lucy came back with Sarah.

Sarah bounced in, with two pigtails, looking very cute.

Seeing a man in the house, she tilted her head and sweetly asked, "Hello, are you here to see my dad?"

Llewellyn turned his head, a gentle yet slightly cold smile forming on his lips as he replied, "Yes."

So, she was William's daughter.
