Chapter 363 I Have Some Connections with the Price Family
William smirked and said, "Don't tell me you got a crush on me or something. To be honest, I seriously don't get why you're making such a big deal in the middle of the night."
Harper shot him a playful glare, kicked his knee gently, and said, "I would never like you, even though you do look kinda decent."
By the end, Harper was clearly blushing, and her voice had dropped.
'What's going on? Could Harper really like me?' William thought to himself.
"Ugh, it's all your fault. Now I forgot what I was gonna say," Harper said, glaring at William fiercely.
William, resting his head on his hands, said with a mischievous grin, "I didn't do anything to you."
Harper furrowed her brows and asked, "What do you mean?"
William coughed a few times, and then Harper suddenly realized, her face turning as red as a tomato. She glared at William angrily and said, "Pervert! Freak!"
"Got anything else to say? If not, I'm outta here. After all, it's just the two of us alone in a room," William said, getting up to leave.
"Why are you in such a hurry? We haven't finished talking," Harper said and quickly grabbed his arm. Signaling him to sit down, she said, "I informed the Price family about the collaboration with BK Pharmaceuticals. They proposed a 30-70 profit split: you get 30%, and they get 70%."
"They want 70% of the profits? That's like daylight robbery! Even though we're friends, business is business. My wife must get 90% of the profit split!" William said coldly. The Price family was too greedy.
However, they did have excellent resources abroad.
William had checked a couple of years ago and found that they almost monopolized the foreign pharmaceutical market.
Harper was left speechless by his words!
"Are we just friends?" Harper said sadly, making an exaggerated gesture of wiping away tears.
"Isn't it?" William retorted.
Harper thought for a moment, gritted her teeth, and said fiercely, "A 60-40 profit split, I'll try my best."
"Harper, there's no need to keep this up. I might not be a business whiz, but I know the future value of the new drug is huge! A 90-10 profit split is already considering our friendship. Otherwise, I wouldn't even think about working with the Price family," William said, looking determined.
"Do you really have resources in the foreign market? Besides the Price family, who else dares to claim dominance abroad?" Harper said angrily.
She had never met such a clueless guy!
"Oh. Who knows? Do you want to cooperate or not?" William said impatiently.
"I need to consult!" Harper shouted, gritting her teeth in frustration. Tonight was a bust; this William was a real jerk, not budging at all!
Seeing William about to leave, Harper called out to him coldly, "William, remember, the Price family is not as simple as you think. Although they've been out of the domestic market for years, they have deep roots. If you really want to grow BK Pharmaceuticals, you can only cooperate with them."
