Chapter 441 The Deal Between Savannah and Margaret
Margaret was freaking out. The fear of dying had her in a chokehold, especially with all these people around, making it clear they weren't letting her go without the cash.
'Damn it, William! How could he hang up on me now? Is he really gonna let me die?' Margaret fumed.
"William, get your butt over here and save me!" she yelled, her hair a mess, looking totally frazzled.
William stood at the villa's entrance, let out a cold laugh, and said, "Margaret, you lost the bet yourself. Why are you asking me for money?"
"You're my son-in-law. It's only natural for me to ask you for money," Margaret said, glancing at the manager who was playing with a knife nearby, and shivered in fear.
She quickly added, "Fine! If you don't bring me the money, I'll call Mary!"
Hearing Mary's name, William was pissed.
Margaret was truly heartless.
With no other choice, William agreed. "Where?" he asked.
Soon, Margaret sent the address.
William thought for a moment and then called Alan before heading straight to the dock.
Margaret and Delia huddled in a corner, clinging to each other, looking terrified.
"My son-in-law will bring the money soon," Margaret said, trembling with fear.
"Good!" The manager clapped his hands and smiled, then signaled to two bodyguards to separate Margaret and Delia. He said coldly, "Someone wants to see you."
Then, the bodyguards started to drag Margaret away.
Margaret resisted, screaming, "I'm not going! My son-in-law is coming soon!"
The manager slapped her twice, and she instantly quieted down.
Along the way, Margaret didn't dare to speak, fearing that she might accidentally piss them off and end up dead.
Soon, they arrived at the most luxurious presidential suite on the yacht.
The manager opened the door and walked in first, respectfully saying, "I've brought her."
A lazy voice responded, "Let her in."
Margaret recognized the voice immediately but couldn't quite place it. She was shoved inside by the bodyguards.
In the suite, Margaret saw a tall, sexy woman in a fiery red dress by the window, sipping red wine and looking out at the river.
"Margaret, I'm glad to see you. Are you enjoying it? Satisfied?" The woman slowly turned around, revealing her exquisite features and a seductive smile.
"Are you Ms. Guild?" Margaret asked.
Savannah smiled slightly and signaled for a servant to hand Margaret a glass of red wine. "Have a drink, relax."
Margaret took the glass with trembling hands but didn't drink. Instead, she knelt down, begging, "Ms. Guild, please let me go."
Savannah looked at her with a puzzled expression. "Margaret, what's wrong? Am I that scary?"
Margaret shook her head repeatedly. "No, not at all. Please don't throw me into the river. I don't want to die. My son-in-law will bring the money soon. Please have mercy."
Margaret realized she had fallen into a trap.
Savannah's eyes narrowed, and she smiled, signaling for her men to pull Margaret up. "Let's make a deal. If you agree, not only will I erase your debt, but I'll also give you an additional ten million dollars. How about that?"
Margaret was stunned. Looking around, she realized she had no choice but to agree.
"What deal?" Margaret asked weakly.
Savannah smiled calmly. "Don't be nervous. It's nothing difficult. I just need you to do something for me."
"What is it?" Margaret asked, too scared to look Savannah in the eye.
Savannah signaled for her men to hand Margaret a photo. Margaret took it and saw a ring.
She had seen this ring before!
"Get this from William for me," Savannah said with a smile, her eyes blinking as she walked gracefully.
Margaret's mind was in turmoil.
Was the ring valuable?
Last time, she got beaten by William because of it.
Now, she was told to steal it again.
"I'm afraid I can't. William always carries it with him. I can't get it," Margaret said, looking distressed and reluctant.
Savannah smiled faintly, poured herself a glass of red wine, and said, "That's your problem. You can choose not to make the deal."
Then, the two burly bodyguards dragged Margaret to the window, threatening to throw her out.
The rushing river below looked very intimidating.
Terrified, Margaret cried out, "I'll do it! Don't throw me out!"
Savannah signaled for her men to release Margaret, then walked over in her high heels to Margaret. "I don't have much time. I'll give you half a month. How about that?"
"No, it is too short," Margaret protested. But seeing the bodyguards approaching her again, she quickly nodded. "Okay! Deal!"
Margaret was then taken out.
When she saw Delia, she burst into tears and hugged her tightly.
Delia, seeing Margaret in such a state, was scared and asked, "What happened, Margaret? What did they do to you?"
Margaret shook her head, choking back tears. "Nothing."
Meanwhile, William had arrived at the dock. Sure enough, a yacht was waiting.
"Mr. Jones?" someone asked.
William nodded and boarded the yacht.
Ten minutes later, he was on the cruise ship, following two bodyguards. He noticed that the ship boasted every conceivable amenity.
Why was Margaret here?
Soon, William was led into a private room where he saw Margaret and Delia sitting at a gambling table. Opposite them was a tattooed, bald man named Santino.
"William, you're finally here. Give them the money so we can leave," Margaret cried, trying to run towards William.
The bodyguards behind her pinned her back into her seat.
Since William entered, the room had been locked, with eight bodyguards inside.
Ignoring Margaret, William looked at Santino and asked, "How much does she owe?"
"Not much, just one hundred million dollars," Santino said, standing up with a smile.
William thought for a moment and then suddenly said, "What if I don't pay?"
