Chapter 60 William's Methods!

Nancy and the others watched with wide eyes as Wayne entered the bar with his entourage.
This was one of the underground bosses of Lindwood City!
The power and capital behind him were terrifyingly strong!
Todd was so frightened that he was trembling, stuttering. "We've got to get out of here fast. If Mr. Perez catches us, we're as good as dead!"
Todd was completely panicked; he had had the misfortune of witnessing Mr. Perez's fury before!
Once, there was an underground boxing champion who, for refusing to throw a fight at Mr. Perez's behest, had his limbs broken by men sent by Mr. Perez and left on the streets.
Such a boss was an irresistible force of will!
Dominic was also pale with fear, stuttering along with them. "Nancy, let's go. There's nothing good to see here. It's your cousin-in-law who courted death by provoking Brother Enrique. Now that Mr. Perez is here, he's a goner!"
"Nancy, we should leave quickly, or we'll get burned too. Do you really want to go back? If Brother Enrique catches us, we'll all have to pay off the debt by becoming his 'princesses.'"
"Nancy, if you don't leave now, we're going to leave!"
The group alternated between persuading and threatening.
Nancy was also conflicted.
Was it really okay to leave William behind like this?
After all, she was the one who called him. What if something really happened? How could she explain it to her cousin?
"No, if something happens to William, we can't escape responsibility. If you're scared, then go ahead. I have to stay," Nancy stated firmly.
Was the girl really concerned about William?
No!
She was just worried that if something happened to William, it would affect her.
So, she had to stay to make sure.
If it really came to it, she would call the police.
Her gaze returned to the inside of the bar.
William stood amidst the angry stares, his expression indifferent. "Brother Enrique, the money will be here shortly."
Enrique, wiping the blood from his neck with a tissue, spat out angrily. "Damn it! You're the first one who's dared to lay hands on me like that."
After speaking, two of his men pounced, pinning William to the couch.
"So, how do you plan to settle this?" Enrique asked with a cold smile.
"Add another hundred thousand for medical expenses," William replied calmly.
Enrique laughed, looking around. "Brothers, do you hear that? He says add another hundred thousand, so that's two hundred thousand."
After laughing, he coldly stared at William. "Nancy told us you're a good-for-nothing who lives off a woman. I'm curious, where do you get the confidence and two hundred thousand dollars to talk to me like that?"
Enrique was not a moron. Since William's demeanor and words did not fit the profile of a good-for-nothing, he must have his own backing.
Moreover, he was very interested in the person William had called.
Directly asking someone to send over a hundred thousand dollars was definitely not something an ordinary person would do.
Was he pretending to be a pig to eat a tiger?
Enrique really wanted to see if such a good-for-nothing could bring him two hundred thousand dollars.
"You just want money. As for my business, I advise you to mind your own," William said indifferently.
Enrique shook his head, leaning back on the couch naturally. He snapped his fingers, and said to his men, "Start the timer for ten minutes. If no one comes with the money, break one of his arms and throw him out."
"Sure thing, Brother Enrique," one of the men replied with a smirk.
William just laughed nonchalantly.
At that moment, the bar's door was pushed open, and a line of people walked in.
Leading them was Wayne Perez.
He walked in with a smile, saying. "Enrique, why are you closing the doors in broad daylight?"
Enrique, who had been sitting on the couch, stood up like a startled rabbit, bending over with a flattering smile in front of Wayne. "Mr. Perez, you're here. You should have told me in advance so I could have personally welcomed you at the door."
Mr. Perez chuckled, took off his coat, and sat down on the couch. "Tonight we have some distinguished guests coming to have fun. Have someone prepare everything quickly. It must be grand. Also, find ten young girls to accompany the drinking. The guests like that sort of thing, understand?"
"Understood, Mr. Perez, rest assured, I'll make sure everything is done beautifully," Enrique replied obsequiously, looking very much like an old traitor.
At this moment, Wayne noticed there was an unfamiliar face in the bar, pointing at William with a frown and asking coldly, "Who's this kid? New here?"
He looked unfamiliar and too disrespectful.
'He was still sitting even after I entered. Why isn't he showing respect?'
Enrique immediately made faces at his men, chuckling. "Mr. Perez, you misunderstand. This kid is here as collateral for his aunt's debt. "
After speaking, he turned his head and shouted at his men. "What are you waiting for? Take him down."
William didn't make a fuss and got ready to leave with the men.
However, he overheard Enrique and Mr. Perez discussing someone.
"Last time you mentioned Nancy was quite a catch, very fresh. Bring her over this time too, the guest specifically requested her company," Mr. Perez said with a smile. "I heard she also has a cousin, what's her name, Mary, a famous beauty in our city, and a young widow too. Bring her along as well, the guest might like that. Sisters in action, that should be interesting."
Enrique immediately understood. "Don't worry, Mr. Perez. That little girl owes us a hundred thousand dollars, and her cousin is said to be in need of money for her daughter's surgery."
"Good, get on it." Mr. Perez laughed heartily.
William's brow furrowed tightly. He had thought they were only after Nancy, but they had their sights set on his wife as well!
Then they couldn't blame him for what was about to happen!
So, William didn't leave. He stopped in his tracks, turned around, and walked up to Wayne with a cold expression.
"What's going on here? Why haven't you taken this kid down yet?"
Enrique was furious. Were all his men useless?
Wayne was also displeased. The thing he hated the most was when someone not of his own heard what he said.
He was paranoid, always worried that the other party was an undercover agent sent by his rivals.
"Mr. Perez?" William spoke coldly.
Wayne raised an eyebrow, a sly smile on his lips. "You know me?"
William scoffed, his expression indifferent as he spoke. "Nancy and Mary are my family."
A simple sentence, yet the bar quickly fell silent.
Wayne was taken aback.
Enrique smacked his forehead in annoyance, muttering through gritted teeth. "Damn it! I forgot about that."
"What a coincidence. How about you join us tonight then?" Wayne said disdainfully.
He didn't take William seriously at all.
'Just because your cousin and wife are involved, I can't touch them?'
At that moment, everyone in the place was looking at William with mocking eyes.
This kid was finished today.
Messing with Mr. Perez meant waiting for his entire family to be wiped out.
Everyone knew what kind of ruthless person Wayne was. Whatever he wanted, he had to have!
"I'm not one to cause trouble, but if anyone dares to target my family, sorry, even if he's the king of heaven, I'll take him down!" William's words were resounding.
In the bar, everyone's gaze fell on William.
First, they were shocked by his words, then followed by merciless mockery and laughter.
This idiot, did he get his head caught in a door?
Did he not know where he was?
Did he not realize that this was Mr. Perez's place?
Did he not know that Mr. Perez is a ruthless man?
"Fuck! Are you looking for death, kid?"
Wayne flew into a rage!
Ever since he had gained power, he had never heard anyone dare to speak to him like that.
'Take me down? What a fucking joke!'
As Mr. Perez flew into a rage, Enrique and several of his men immediately surrounded them.
"Kid, you'd better kneel down and apologize to Mr. Perez right now, or I'll cut out your tongue!" Enrique threatened with a cold face.
However, in front of everyone, William raised an eyebrow and coldly laughed. "He's not qualified enough to receive an apology from me."
Not qualified enough?
Enrique was taken aback!
He was truly shocked by William's fearlessness.
Arrogant! Simply too arrogant!
To dare say Mr. Perez wasn't qualified enough!
"Enrique, break his limbs and cut out his tongue to soak in alcohol!" Wayne's face was icy, his eyes showing a cold intent.
Yet, William simply took out his phone and dialed a number.
Alan!
In an instant, the call was connected, and Alan's voice came from the other end. "William, what can I do for you?"
"Starlight Bar, Mr. Perez. Do you know him? Bring your men over, I want to have him erased from Lindwood City!" William spoke calmly.
The whole place went silent!
