Chapter 272 A Bunch of Trash
"What do you think you're doing!" Dashiell yelled, clutching his broken arm and frowning.
"The thing I hate most in life is being threatened, and my brothers being threatened," William sneered, his eyes cold, making Dashiell shiver all over in fear!
"You... You dare touch me. Try it!" Dashiell shouted, trying to muster some courage!
William's gaze was terrifying, making Dashiell break out in a sweat.
"Too much nonsense!" William sneered coldly, raising his hand and slapping him!
The room fell deathly silent!
William really dared to hit Dashiell again!
'Crazy, crazy! William must be crazy!' everyone thought.
Dashiell stood there stunned, suddenly screaming hysterically, "You, I..."
William slapped him again without a hint of hesitation!
Everyone was stunned.
Emilia's expression was the most dramatic: her face flushed, eyes wide open, mouth agape. She grabbed Betty's arm and shouted, "Your boyfriend must be crazy! If you don't stop him, we won't be able to leave here!"
Betty ignored her, raised her hand, and slapped her, too, shouting, "Shut up!"
Everyone was stunned again, thinking, 'They really are a couple. Even their slapping techniques are the same!'
Oberon felt both excited and worried. He was excited because he had long wanted to teach a lesson to a playboy like Dashiell, who was always so arrogant and never treated people like Oberon as human beings.
He was worried because William had hit Dashiell, which meant offending the Gonzales family, and they could no longer stay in Lindwood City.
'Damn it! If we can't stay, we'll just move! With William around, what is there to fear!' Oberon secretly decided.
Tarquin, who had been the loudest earlier, now shut his mouth and hid in the corner without saying a word, his face full of pain.
"Not convinced?" William sneered.
Dashiell's eyes were filled with fury as he glared at William, gritting his teeth and snarling, "Just you wait!"
He then stormed out angrily, accompanied by a few rich kids.
In the expansive private chamber, a meager number of individuals remained. Tarquin also wanted to slip away, but William had his eyes on him.
"You, yes, you. What are you running for? Stand there!" William said coldly.
Tarquin immediately froze in place, trembling all over in fear, cold sweat rolling down his forehead.
"Mr. Jones, please spare me. I was wrong," He pleaded, his face twisted. He hadn't expected Dashiell to leave so humiliated.
William sneered, turning to Oberon and saying, "He's yours."
Oberon, receiving the order, immediately walked up to Tarquin, grabbed him by the collar, and said fiercely, "Come with us for a little fun!"
Tarquin's agonizing screams resonated outside the private room, terrifying the remaining wealthy children within.
After leaving Royal Orchid Fine Dining, Dashiell stood at the brightly lit entrance, his eyes coldly fixed on the private room on the second floor, and he said in a deep voice, "Find me some people! Don't let any of them leave tonight!"
"Mr. Gonzales, are you thinking of calling Elric?" a rich kid beside Dashiell asked.
At the mention of Elric, a flash of fear crossed their eyes. Elric had just been released from prison not long ago. He used to be the local tyrant, having harmed many innocent girls and with quite a bit of blood on his hands—a real tough guy!
"Hurry up and get him to bring some people and weapons over!" Dashiell said, his mouth curling into a cold smile, a glint of cold light flashing in his eyes. He didn't believe there was anything in Lindwood City that he couldn't handle!
'William, tonight I'll take your life!' Dashiell silently determined.
"Mr. Gonzales, you better think this through. Betty is Alan's daughter after all. If we really do this, it means tearing our relationship with Alan," a rich kid reminded.
"What are you afraid of?! I'm the young master of the Gonzales family! Who the hell is Alan!" Dashiell shouted angrily.
William was the focus of attention in the private room during dinner.
The rich kids in the room didn't dare to look him in the eye; William was too outrageous!
As for Emilia, her face turned ashen, and she was unable to speak for a long time.
Today, she had used her birthday as an excuse to invite her old friends to celebrate, all to set up Betty with Dashiell.
Because she knew that Dashiell wouldn't be interested in any girl; only someone like Betty could catch his eye.
If she could get along with Dashiell, then she could rise to the top in Lindwood City!
Now, everything was ruined by this man named William!
She stood up angrily, pointing at William and cursing, "Are you crazy? Today is my birthday. I didn't invite you! Get out!"
Emilia screamed hysterically, completely forgetting William's fierce demeanor earlier.
William turned calmly to look at the heavily made-up Emilia, then turned his head to look at Betty sitting in the corner, asking, "Is this your friend? I don't think much of her."
Betty glared at him fiercely, then stood up, grabbed Emilia's arm, and suddenly gave her a hard slap!
Emilia stood there, completely confused and stunned, with a striking red handprint on her face.
"Emilia, from now on, we're over!" Betty declared angrily.
After saying this, she pulled Harper and stormed out.
William shrugged helplessly and followed them out.
As soon as they left the private room, they heard a fit of mad screaming from inside.
William smacked his lips, sighing inwardly, 'Women, truly terrifying creatures! Looks like there's no dinner tonight.'
However, as William left Royal Orchid Fine Dining, he noticed several shady figures watching him from across the street.
It seemed Dashiell wasn't giving up!
William felt helpless. He stood at the entrance of Royal Orchid Fine Dining, looking around the parking lot and noticing it was filled with luxury cars.
He thought for a moment, said goodbye to Betty, and got Harper's contact information.
Then he made a phone call, turned right, and walked to the street corner to hail a cab heading north.
The cab had just started when William noticed a black van following them!
There was no doubt it was coming for him!
'Trying to mess with me, without even weighing your own strength!' William sneered inwardly.
In the black van, Dashiell sat in the passenger seat with his arm in a cast, his face gloomy. His eyes were sharp and menacing, like those of a snake. As he stared at the cab ahead, his anger grew more intense.
Tonight, he was determined to give that arrogant William a lesson he'd never forget!
"Elric, how confident are you?" Dashiell asked in a deep voice, seemingly talking to the air.
"One hundred percent!"
A chilling voice suddenly emerged from the back of the van, sending shivers down everyone's spine.
In the back, a burly man with bulging muscles and arms like tree trunks sat with his eyes closed, exuding a terrifying coldness.
He was Elric, a well-known figure in Lindwood City's underground scene!
If he hadn't been imprisoned, he might have been a new overlord in this city.
Betrayed by his brother and girlfriend, Elric was sentenced to six years in prison and had just been released recently, recruited by Dashiell.
"Good! Once it's done, the promised one million dollars will be yours," Dashiell sneered, already envisioning the scene where that bastard William would be begging for mercy under his feet.
He initially planned to deal with Betty but changed his mind because he found her appealing. He was confident that after dealing with William, he could have Betty in his bed!
By then, Alan would have no choice but to obediently become his father-in-law!
