Chapter 137 Just Slap You!
William put the helmet on Mary and said, "It's just the company's bike. I happened to ride it back."
With that, William quickly started the bike, turned the handlebars, and the BMW motorcycle roared with a pleasing sound. This was a man's dream.
"Hold on tight," William said with a smile.
The bike sped off quickly.
Mary sat behind William, holding his waist tightly. She was just scared!
When turning, William leaned into the turn, just like the professional racers she had seen on TV.
It attracted a lot of cheers and photos from passersby.
'Is this still the same William that I've always known? He's actually good at this,' Mary thought, confused. She had so many questions she wanted to ask.
How many things did William know that she didn't?
Soon, William and Mary arrived at the Hillside Villa Sales Office. Mary got off first and rushed in.
William needed to park the bike. Parking at the entrance was not allowed, so he had to park in the sales office's dedicated underground parking lot.
Mary rushed into the sales office and saw Margaret lying on the ground looking pale, wailing and cursing.
Tyler's face was also a bloody mess. Although his nose had stopped bleeding, he still looked pale and was seriously injured.
"Dad, Mom, are you okay?" Mary said anxiously, quickly helping Margaret up from the ground.
Margaret burst into tears when she saw Mary, pointing at the flamboyant woman and the middle-aged fat man. She cursed, "Mary, if you had come a little later, we would have been beaten to death by them!"
Hearing this, Mary was furious. She helped Margaret up, glaring angrily at the arrogant couple, and asked coldly, "Did you hit my parents?"
The woman looked at Mary with disdain, sizing her up. Mary was very pretty, much prettier than herself. Instantly, her jealousy flared up.
The flamboyant woman crossed her arms and said disdainfully, "Yes, I hit them. People like your mom deserve to be hit. Imagine looking at villas you can't even afford. If you can't afford it, don't pretend that you can. Just get lost."
The flamboyant woman was very displeased with Mary's attitude.
'She may be pretty, but judging by her clothes, she's not very well-off,' she thought. Her confidence rose as she deduced that the whole family was poor.
Mary's said, coldly, "Even if we can't afford it, what gives you the right to hit people? Apologize to my parents, or I'll call the police."
Mary was sensible so she didn't want to escalate the situation.
However, upon hearing this, the flamboyant woman sneered. She slapped Mary across the face. She cursed at her. "So what if I hit your parents? I just hit you too. What are you going to do about it? Call the police then! Let me tell you, my brother is a cop!"
The woman was so arrogant and brazen. "You poor bastards still want to call the police? Believe it or not, I'll have my brother lock up your whole family!" she said, her eyes filled with disdain.
The woman thought, 'They're just a few pathetic losers who don't know their place..'
Hearing that the woman's brother was a cop, Margaret immediately got scared and hid behind Mary. Tugging at her arm, she whispered, "Forget it, Mary. Let's not argue with them. Let's go."
Margaret was a coward. She couldn't help it, she couldn't afford to provoke them.
Margaret only had the guts to act audaciously at home. In public, whenever something happened, she lost her nerve.
Hearing this, the flamboyant woman laughed loudly and sarcastically. "What a bunch of cowards! Are you scared? Just get lost."
The middle-aged greasy fat man beside her also got angry. He pointed at Mary and cursed at the sales clerk. "What's going on here? How can you let them in? What about my customer experience?"
"We're sorry, we'll make it up to you." The sales clerk bowed and apologized quickly. She frowned at Mary and the others, inwardly cursing them.
At first, she thought Margaret was a wealthy person looking to buy a house, but it turned out that she couldn't even afford it.
'Why are they even looking, then? If I offend a big client like this, my sales performance would plummet,' the sales clerk thought, feeling dissatisfied.
"Please get out, all three of you!" The sales clerk shouted, showing no mercy to Mary.
A cold voice suddenly came from the entrance.
"Why are you kicking my parents out when they're here to look for houses?"
It was William. He walked in with a grim expression.
William's eyes immediately locked onto Mary's left cheek, which had a noticeable red handprint. In the time it took him to park the bike, someone had hit Mary.
William walked up to her and touched her injured cheek. His eyes filled with anger. He asked, "Who hit you?"
Mary glanced at the flamboyant woman and shook her head. "It's nothing, let's just go." There were tears in her eyes.
Mary was very angry indeed, but she didn't want to cause trouble. After all, the woman's brother was a cop, and as an ordinary person, she couldn't afford to provoke them.
However, unexpectedly, William coldly said, "No, that's not acceptable. No one is allowed to hit my wife. No matter who they are, they must kneel and beg for your forgiveness."
William was so domineering that the entire sales office fell silent. Everyone stared at him in disbelief.
The flamboyant woman sneered. "What did you just say? Are you implying you want to fight back?"
She thought William was an idiot. Dressed in cheap clothes, he looked like someone from the bottom of society. How dare he say something like that. What a joke!
The middle-aged fat man also sneered, raising his eyebrows and staring at William. "Are you looking for trouble? Your mother-in-law and wife said to let it go, and you still want to make a big deal out of things?"
The middle-aged man thought to himself, 'This guy is just trying to show off in front of everyone. Let's take him down a peg or two.'
However, in the next second, William turned around, staring coldly at the flamboyant woman and the middle-aged fat man. "Sorry, I'm a bit vengeful. You hit my wife, so..."
Before he finished speaking, William slapped the flamboyant woman angrily.
The entire sales office heard the sound.
The flamboyant woman lost two teeth and spat out blood.
Everyone was shocked. Margaret was scared out of her wits, never expecting William to be so violent. What an idiot. The woman's brother was a cop. They were surely in trouble now.
"William, what are you doing? Did I ask for your help? Don't make things worse!" Margaret couldn't care about anything else. She grabbed William and started scolding him.
Then, she grabbed Mary and Tyler and tried to make a run for it. "Mary, let's go. This has nothing to do with us. William caused this trouble, he should deal with it himself."
This scene shocked everyone in the sales office once again.
Margaret really knew how to save herself. She quickly sold William out, despite him coming to her rescue. She was absolutely shameless.
However, Margaret didn't care about the strange looks from everyone. She just wanted to escape.
Mary didn't move. She stood behind William, glaring at Margaret. "Mom, enough! Isn't William here because of you? What's the point of saying this now? If you want to go, you can leave on your own. I'm staying!"
After saying that, Mary walked up to William and immediately bowed to the flamboyant woman, "I'm sorry. My husband was too heavy-handed. We'll pay for your medical expenses. Name your price."
Mary knew William had caused trouble, but she didn't want to leave him to bear the responsibility alone. After all, William did it because of her.
The flamboyant woman wasn't going to let William off so easily. She screamed hysterically, "You dare hit me? Honey, he hit me!"
She was furious, her mouth bleeding from the two teeth that had just been knocked out.
The middle-aged fat man also became furious. He clenched his fist and was ready to strike. "You dare hit my girlfriend? You're asking for it!"
Before he could act, William kicked him in the stomach, sending him tumbling backward and hitting the ground with a thud.
William's kick was strong, and the middle-aged fat man couldn't get up for a long time.
Suddenly, the flamboyant woman panicked, hurriedly running to the middle-aged man. She pulled him up, frantically taking out her phone. "Don't you dare run away! I'm calling my brother right now. You're finished! When my brother gets here, I'll have you all thrown in jail!"
However, William calmly watched all this, took out his phone, and called Alan. "I'm at the Hillside Villa Sales Office. Bring some people over."
