Chapter 253 "Honey, I am Mr. Jones"

William's face turned pale with cold sweat. He sent a text message on his phone, then shoved it back into his pocket. He glanced at the car behind them, thought for a moment, and decided to get in with them.

William entered the Presidential Suite with two bodyguards and encountered eight muscular men in identical black suits, radiating a chilling and menacing presence that thrilled him.

At the head of the round table sat a portly middle-aged man, eating heartily.

Mary sat nearby, arms crossed, her cold demeanor tinged with anxiety.

William quickly assessed the situation, his eyes scanning the room.

Eight men, all looking like trained fighters, probably quite skilled.

And the man who was eating, despite his portly figure, had a menacing air about him.

He was a tough man to deal with!

But none of this fazed William.

He thought, 'A coward? Sorry, that's not me, William.'

The one or two years of training with Andres were not wasted.

Although not as skilled as Benjamin, he could at least protect himself.

When Mary saw William enter the room, her face lit up with joy, but it was quickly replaced by worry. She stood up and said, "You're here, just by yourself?"

Didn't William see her text?

Why didn't he bring anyone with him?

William smiled gently and said, "It's okay. I can handle it alone."

Mary had nothing to say and continuously gave him meaningful looks, but William ignored her and walked straight to the round table, sitting down boldly!

Mary had no choice but to sit down as well, but she kept kicking him under the table to remind him.

"Honey, they're from the Southern District's Eclipse Mafia, here about the Sanchez family channel cooperation," Mary reminded William, her eyes full of concern.

She hadn't expected Joshua to involve such underworld figures. This was a threat.

A blatant threat!

William nodded in understanding, gave Mary a reassuring look, then unceremoniously picked up the utensils on the table and started eating!

Mary was stunned.

Was William really this bold?

The man sitting across from William was Jasper Mitchell from the Eclipse Mafia, one of the top five underground forces in the Southern District!

Jasper, being ruthless and cruel, had a lot of blood on his hands!

It was said that he even threw his wife into the river to feed the fish just because she talked to a stranger for a few minutes. And that man was castrated!

But Jasper was still living well!

William ate slowly, completely ignoring Jasper sitting across from him.

Jasper, having finished his meal, wiped his mouth with a napkin, drank a glass of red wine, and looked at William with a playful glint in his eyes.

"Bro, do you know what kind of people I hate the most in this world?" Jasper finally spoke with a cold sneer. "Useless freeloaders."

William picked up another piece of lamb, smacking his lips in appreciation. "This meat is good."

Jasper's face darkened. This was the first time someone had shown him such disrespect!

Mary was also anxious, kicking him under the table and smiling apologetically. She said, "Mr. Mitchell, this is my husband William. He's not very good with words, please don't mind him."

William raised an eyebrow and said with a smile, "Honey, this meat is good, you should try it."

Mary glared at him, signaling him to stop talking.

If they angered Jasper, they would both be in trouble.

She didn't care about herself, but William must not get hurt!

He was Sarah's father and needed to take care of Sarah.

That was Mary's bottom line.

Jasper laughed a few times, got up, and walked behind Mary. He placed his hand on her shoulder and deliberately leaned in to smell her perfume before bluntly saying, "Ms. Smith, I quite like you. Your reputation as the most beautiful woman in Lindwood City's pharmaceutical industry precedes you. If you're willing, you can come to my room tonight. How about it?"

Mary was taken aback by his shameless words, struggling to suppress her anger.

William, sitting next to her, naturally felt her body tremble slightly and saw the frost on her face.

"Honey, I feel like hitting him, what should I do?" William suddenly put down his utensils and said.

'He's arrogant to the extreme!' Jasper thought.

This was the first time anyone had dared speak to him this way since he entered the underworld!

Usually, he was the one beating others half to death and throwing them into the river to feed the fish!

Today, William dared to ignore him and even threatened to hit him.

Mary's face darkened. She looked at William, then suddenly stood up and said, "Don't kill anyone."

With that, she walked straight to the window, turning her back to the room.

She didn't know why she trusted William so much, but his gesture of patting her hand under the table gave her a great sense of security.

Moreover, he had always given her unexpected surprises at critical moments.

At this moment, she believed in him.

William seemed far more complex than she had imagined.

Jasper sneered, his sinister eyes fixed on William. Then he said, "I've heard you're quite arrogant. Seeing you today, it seems true. But let's see if you can walk out of this room alive."

William remained expressionless, holding a pair of silver chopsticks and a knife, but a chilling coldness began to emanate from him.

He squinted at Jasper, a deathly smile forming at the corner of his mouth. "I don't know if I'll walk out alive, but you definitely won't leave here unscathed!"

With that, William swiftly thrust the knife and fork in his hand, piercing Jasper's arm with lightning speed!

Blood spilled!

Jasper hadn't even reacted before he saw his arm drenched in blood!

Clutching his arm, he staggered back a few steps, his face twisted with malice as he roared, "Kill him! Chop off his limbs!"

William's movements were so fast that the eight bodyguards in the room were stunned. They stood there, dumbfounded, seeing their usually untouchable Jasper in such a sorry state!

And William's aura was terrifying!

"What are you waiting for! Beat him to death!" Jasper shouted.

With his furious shout, the bodyguards snapped out of their daze and charged at William!

It was unbelievable that someone had injured Jasper right in front of them. This was a dereliction of duty, and they would surely face severe punishment after that!

William, however, remained calm, leisurely scanning them.

At that moment, a bodyguard charged forward, aiming a punch at William's face. William caught his fist effortlessly and applied a little force, making the bodyguard yelp in pain.

With a crisp snap, the man's arm was bent backward, broken, and he writhed on the ground in agony!

Immediately, William struck again, as fast as lightning. The second bodyguard barely saw what happened before his vision went black, watching helplessly as his arm was broken!

In an instant, all eight burly bodyguards were on the ground, writhing and screaming in pain!

Everything happened too suddenly!

Of course, William didn't come out unscathed, taking a few punches to the chest, abdomen, and face.

Jasper, his face dark, clutched his bleeding arm, staring at William in the room. For the first time, he felt the threat of death, desperately shouting, "Do you know who I am? I'm from the Southern District's Eclipse Mafia."

Before he could finish, William took a swift step, grabbed his throat, and lifted him off the ground.

"I don't care who you are. I just want to tell you, don't mess with my wife, and don't harbor any hostility towards me. Otherwise, I can't guarantee I won't kill you!" William declared.

His voice carried a bone-chilling coldness, even making Jasper, who had been in the underworld for decades, feel a chill throughout his body!

This was the threat of death!

Jasper was shivering, his face flushed, and he was unable to breathe.

Who was William?

Didn't Joshua say he was just a useless freeloader?

Why? Why would his aura be so overwhelming!

Suddenly, William released his grip, and Jasper fell to the ground, clutching his neck and coughing violently.

"Get out! If I see you again, I'll break all your necks!" William shouted, knowing that with people like this, he had to use intimidation. Otherwise, they wouldn't back down!

"Let's go!" Jasper commanded.

Clutching his bloody arm, he gave William a hateful look as if to etch his face into memory.

The nine of them fled the room like defeated dogs.

"Honey, does this solution work for you?" William shrugged and asked.

Mary turned around, a hint of post-crisis joy on her face, scolding, "Don't do that again. They're not good people. The company will have more trouble now."

William looked indifferent, saying, "What trouble? If they come back, I'll deal with them."

Mary rolled her eyes at him, rubbing his reddened cheek as she said, "You, always resorting to violence. They were sent by Joshua. You've offended them tonight. They won't let it go. Leave this to me. I'll contact the Jones Group. They should be able to help us."

Mr. Jones?

William shrugged, a smile forming at the corner of his mouth. "It's fine. I'm here," William said.

"You? What can you solve?" Mary said.

She didn't want to doubt William at this moment, but it was too far-fetched.

Mr. Jones was the Southern District's Eclipse Mafia.

Even if William's family was wealthy, they couldn't possibly deal with the Eclipse Mafia.

"Aren't you going to contact the Jones Group? Actually, I am Mr. Jones." William said as he smiled, reaching out to gently tap Mary's delicate nose.
