Chapter 200 Let's Get a Divorce
Isaac was being held down, cursing angrily, "William, let go of me!"
However, William not only didn't let go but increased his grip, his eyes cold as ice. "Isaac, you're asking for it."
Isaac shouted loudly, "If you dare lay a hand on me, believe it or not, I'll have someone beat you to death."
It was humiliating to be pinned down by William and unable to move, especially in front of Mary.
Isaac felt both ashamed and helpless.
"Beat me to death? Just you?" William sneered.
Isaac probably didn't know what had happened in the banquet hall tonight, or he would not dare to talk big.
Mary, who stood nearby, was also frightened by William's ferocity. Although she was very angry about Isaac's earlier attempt, they were all acquaintances. If a real fight broke out, William would also suffer.
They said if you won, you went to jail; if you lost, you went to the hospital.
So, Mary worried that William might do something irrational. She hurriedly stepped forward and pulled him, saying, "William, let go. Don't cause any trouble."
William's eyes turned cold, his anger not yet subsided. He let go and gave Isaac a hard kick and then scolded, "Isaac, I'm warning you, if you dare to make a move on Mary again, taking you out would be as easy as squishing an ant."
Isaac straightened up, rubbed his abdomen, and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. He looked at William coldly and sneered. "William, you're something, huh? A loser like you dares to threaten me. Do you think I don't know your dirty secrets? Aunt Margaret had told me everything. It's unlucky that Mary married you."
Isaac didn't expect William to show up and ruin his plans.
He was so close to succeeding.
"What did she say?" William glared coldly at Isaac.
Was Margaret badmouthing him again?
Isaac sneered and glanced at Mary. "Mary, you probably don't know, William pretends to be Mr. Jones to deceive people. I caught him last time, and Aunt Margaret told me he used to do this. I don't know what you see in a man like him."
Mary was stunned and turned to look at William, wondering if he had really done it.
"What's going on?" Mary asked suspiciously.
William glanced at Isaac, then looked seriously at Mary, "Mary, don't listen to his nonsense. Do I need to pretend? I am Mr. Jones indeed."
He had to admit his true identity.
Isaac laughed loudly and his face was full of mockery. He pointed at William and said, "You're still pretending. If you were Mr. Jones, would you be here? You should be inside talking with those chairmen. If you were Mr. Jones, would you be such a loser? Stop pretending, William, you're shameless!"
Mary heard Isaac's words and looked at William with uncertainty.
Should she believe William?
William felt helpless, glanced at Lori beside him, and said, "Lori, tell them who I am."
Lori swayed her hips as she walked over, directly hooking around his arm in front of Mary. "Mary, who William is doesn't matter. I advise you to divorce him. Anyway, you've got into a car with another man in the middle of the night and did those dirty things. I saw it all."
Lori was indeed cunning that she refused to reveal William's identity.
"You're lying!" Mary shouted.
She was furious. What would William think if Lori kept talking nonsense?
"Lying? I saw it with my own eyes. You two were hugging." Lori pouted, looking seriously at William. "William, you have to believe me. I really saw it. Mary is lying to you. She was hugging this man just now. I saw it with my own eyes."
William's anger reignited and galred at Mary. "Is that truth?"
He was already upset by what he saw earlier.
Now, with Lori adding fuel to the fire, his jealousy exploded.
Mary shook her head desperately, explained with a sob in her voice, "No, I didn't. She's lying."
Then, she turned to Isaac and said urgently, "Isaac, explain to William. We didn't do anything."
Isaac wouldn't explain because he was glad to see that.
Isaac said with a sneer, "William, I find you really useless. You can't even keep an eye on your own wife. You'll always be a loser."
As soon as he finished speaking, William kicked him again.
This time, Isaac flew backward. He crashed into the front windshield of an Aston Martin and it was shattered.
Then, he rolled to the ground, groaning in pain.
"Isaac, you brought it on yourself."
William was furious that he shook off Lori's hand, walking up, grabbing Isaac by the collar.
A few slaps later, Isaac's mouth was full of blood, his face twisted in a cold smile, cursing, "Loser."
"Stop hitting him." Mary panicked and rushed over to break up the fight.
But William was so angry that waved his hand, causing Mary to stumble back several steps.
Lori, however, coldly smiled and slapped Mary, scolding, "You slut! How could William marry such a whore like you, pretending to be innocent while cheating on him behind his back."
She was feeling quite pleased, the more chaotic, the better.
"What are you doing?" William heard the commotion, and then saw Lori slap Mary.
He then stood up furiously and slapped Lori, glaring at her.
"Mary, are you okay?" William still cared about Mary.
But now, Mary's eyes were filled with tears, especially when she saw the red lipstick mark on William's cheek, and she broke down completely.
"You two!" Mary covered her face and ran away crying.
Lori, although holding her face and looking pitiful, was inwardly sneering.
She made it.
It would be hard for William and Mary to resolve the misunderstanding between them.
William didn't care about Lori and Isaac; he hurriedly chased after Mary.
After a while, Lori hurriedly helped Isaac up from the ground, her face full of concern. "Are you okay?"
He stood up, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, and looked at Lori coldly. "Who do you think you are? Get lost."
Lori was displeased but still maintained a faint smile, especially as she watched Isaac get into the Aston Martin, her mind started to wonder.
Isaac was also a rich scion.
Mary ran away crying, and about ten minutes later, she composed herself and returned to the banquet hall, intending to meet Mr. Jones.
She was a woman who could separate work from emotions.
"Mr. Brooks, where is Mr. Jones?" Mary didn't see Mr. Jones.
"Ms. Smith, unfortunately, Mr. Jones has already left. Didn't you run into him?" Dylan said with a smile.
He had no choice; William didn't allow him to say anything.
Mary's eyes showed a hint of disappointment because she still hadn't met Mr. Jones.
"Alright, then I won't disturb you any longer. I'll head back now." Mary smiled slightly, then turned and left the hotel alone.
Meanwhile, William, after searching for a long time, returned to the banquet hall and directly found Dylan, asking, "Dylan, have you seen my wife?"
Dylan was stunned, what was going on?
"She just left. Oh, by the way, I didn't tell her about your identity," Dylan replied.
William's expression tightened, and without explaining, he nodded and ran out of the banquet hall.
But at the door, Lori blocked William's way. "William, are you still going to chase after Mary? After what she did to you, are you still choosing to believe her?"
William turned his head and scolded with a cold expresion, "Lori, I know what you're up to, but I'm warning you, don't interfere in my and Mary's affairs, or don't blame me for being rude."
With that, he pushed Lori aside and was about to leave.
Upon seeing this, Lori gritted her teeth and threw herself heavily to the ground, hitting her head and bleeding, crying out, "It hurts. I'm bleeding."
William turned back. He was shocked, and then walked over to ask, "Are you okay?"
Lori covered her forehead, her hand full of blood, and pretended to faint.
William was stunned. What a mess!
He thought for a moment and decided to explain to Mary later.
Then, he immediately picked up Lori, asked a waiter to call a car, and headed straight to the hospital.
But unfortunately, this scene was witnessed by Margaret, who had just gotten out of a taxi at the entrance.
Margaret was furious.
She cursed, "William was running off with a woman."
It was sure enough that he had an affair.
She had to tell the truth to Mary, and they must get a divorce; furthermore, William must leave with nothing.
"Mom, what are you doing here?" Mary walked over at this moment, hesitating when she saw Margaret.
Margaret saw Mary and immediately walked over, grabbing her hand and scolding, "Don't worry about why I'm here. Mary, do you know that William just left with a woman in his arms."
A woman?
Mary was stunned, then turned to look in the direction of the street, feeling a wave of disappointment. "Let's go home."
The misunderstanding had really blown up.
Margaret cursed all the way home, and when they arrived at the Smith family’s old house, she pulled Tyler in and said, "Mary, you must listen to me this time. You must divorce William. He dared to have a mistress outside. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, we would still be in the dark."
"I've always said William is no good, and now it's proven," Margaret added.
She continued, "Mary, listen to me, go and divorce William tomorrow, and make sure he leaves with nothing."
Mary was already very down, and after being lectured by Margaret and Tyler for so long, she stood up in a fit of anger and said, "Fine."
