Chapter 112: William? Is that really you?
"William, sit tight. I'll handle it," Alan said, then dialed a number and coldly said, "Joe, I'm at the exit in Yangville. Bring your men over."
After saying that, Alan took off his hat, removed his suit, and pushed open the car door, leading his men out.
William also smiled and got out of the car. Mary initially wanted to follow, but William left her in the car. The upcoming scene was not suitable for Mary to witness.
"Who's William? Get out here!" The leader, named Aaron, was usually a bully. Now, Aaron was holding a steel rod, looking fierce. He banged on the hood of the Mercedes, shouting, "What? Didn't you hear me? Are you all deaf? William, get out here and kneel! The woman named Mary, come with me and let my brothers have some fun! Otherwise, none of you can escape!"
"How dare you insult Mr. Jones and Mary!" Alan stepped forward, his face cold, and said, "Tired of living?"
Alan had been the Underground King for many years, fighting his way through Lindwood City. He wasn't afraid of thugs like Aaron. What angered Alan was their insult to William!
"Who are you? You're defiant to the very end." Aaron looked Alan up and down. "Dressed all fancy. Do you believe I'll make you kneel and beg for mercy in a minute?"
"I'm Alan. Who do you think I am?" Alan said coldly.
Hearing the name, Aaron was first stunned, then burst into laughter, waving his steel rod arrogantly at Alan. "Alan? How dare you call yourself Alan? Do you know who Alan is? He's the Underground King of Lindwood City!"
Aaron couldn't help but laugh, not expecting to meet such an idiot today. "Look at yourself in the mirror. Do you think you can impersonate Mr. Jordan? How dare you!"
"Stop bragging. You're courting death!" Alan turned cold and struck first, kicking Aaron hard.
Aaron didn't expect the other party to strike first and was kicked in the abdomen, retreating several feet before stabilizing himself. Aaron clutched his stomach, gritting his teeth, and shouted, "What are you all standing around for? Get them! Beat William first, then the woman. Take them back!"
In an instant, a group of people charged forward with rods.
However, Alan and his three bodyguards took less than five minutes to knock all the thugs to the ground!
William also kicked them, but the rest were handled by Alan and his bodyguards.
Alan, having reached his current position, had extraordinary skills. His bodyguards had also been selected carefully, their martial arts far superior to Aaron's thugs.
"Tell me. Who sent you?!" Alan stepped on Aaron's face without mercy, making Aaron scream in pain.
"I work for Joe. If you dare hurt me, Joe won't let you off!" Aaron said stubbornly. His eyes were full of anger.
"Joe Evans?" Alan sneered. "Even if he were standing in front of me, he wouldn't dare speak to me like that!"
"Stop pretending! When Joe arrives, you're finished. If you're sensible, let me go!" Aaron spat and cursed, only to be kicked in the face by Alan, causing his nose to bleed profusely.
However, just as Aaron was cursing, four Range Rovers sped over, screeching to a halt by the roadside. Soon, a 6-foot-tall burly man, muscular and imposing, got out of the car. Several men quickly followed him out of the other cars.
The burly man quickly scanned the scene, his gaze intimidating. "Joe?" Seeing the newcomer, Aaron felt a surge of hope and shouted, "Mr. Evans! Over here! Save me!"
Joe’s gaze locked onto Alan, completely ignoring Aaron, who was under Alan's foot. Then, to everyone's astonishment, Joe quickly walked up to bow to Alan and said, "Mr. Jordan! I've brought the men. What are your orders?"
Alan remained expressionless and nodded slightly.
"Mr. Jordan?" At this moment, Aaron was completely stunned, unable to believe what he was seeing and hearing. Especially seeing Joe standing respectfully beside Alan, Aaron felt his world collapse.
Aaron now regretted it immensely, cold sweat pouring down his body.
By now, even an idiot like Aaron understood.
The person in front of him was indeed the Underground King of Lindwood City, Alan!
What a legendary figure!
Aaron had always begged Joe to introduce him to Alan, but he was never qualified.

‘Mr. Jones? Could that young man be William that Wade wants to cripple?’ At the sight of this scene, the meticulous Aaron was completely dumbfounded. His heart seemingly stopped beating!
‘Wade, you've doomed me! Just a stomp from Alan could shake Lindwood City!’ Aaron thought.
Now, Alan was so respectful and cautious towards William. One could only imagine William was a big shot!
Aaron felt a tightness in his lower abdomen. Suddenly, warm liquid flowed from his crotch, accompanied by a foul smell.
Now, Aaron wished he could die!
Watching the young man walk towards him, Aaron felt a hardness in his throat.
"Wade sent you?" William asked coldly.
Aaron was momentarily stunned, then nodded frantically, confessing everything, "Yes! Wade sent me. Please spare me. I was short-sighted. I was an idiot. This really has nothing to do with me. Please forgive me!"
William frowned slightly, rubbing his chin thoughtfully, and said, "No, how did you insult my wife earlier?"
Aaron immediately put on a mournful face and said, "I deserve to die! It’s all my fault. I’m wrong! Please forgive me. As long as you spare me, I'll follow any orders you give!"
Saying this, Aaron got up from the ground and started slapping himself hard, drawing blood.
Aaron knew that if he didn't do this, his death would be even more miserable!
William thought for a moment and said, "Alright, I'll give you a chance. Monitor the Turner family for me. Report every move they make to me."
"Sure!" Aaron quickly agreed.
"By the way, find an opportunity to teach Wade a lesson for me. You know what to do, right?" William said with a cold smile.
Aaron shuddered, immediately understanding. He knelt on the ground, apologizing repeatedly. "Understood! Please rest assured, Mr. Jones. I get it! I'll handle it perfectly!"
After saying that, William and Alan got into the car and left.
Such a little episode was insignificant.
Monitoring the Turner family was just a spur-of-the-moment decision by William because he was very dissatisfied with them.
William was weighing whether to take action against the Turner family or not.
If Wade tried anything else, William wouldn't mind wiping out the Turner family overnight.
Back in the city, after a long day of traveling, William let Mary go home to rest while he went to the hospital to accompany Sarah.
The next day, William took a tour around his company and casually invested another 30 million, handing it over to Melissa to manage.
Now, half of Lindwood City's delivery business was handled by William's company.
After all, delivering food on Harley-Davidsons was too unique!
Leaving the company, William thought about it and decided to book a candlelight dinner.

"William? What are you doing here?" Looking up, William saw two girls, one tall and one short, walking over arm in arm.

"Lori?" William said in surprise.
"It really is you. I didn't expect to run into you here." Lori was a well-known beauty in college, flirtatious, with a slender figure, well-defined features, and a very voluptuous body. She had the potential to be a model for the fashion magazine.
Seeing William, Lori was first surprised, then she was filled with mockery and a sneer.
William had pursued her in college but failed because Lori didn't think much of William. She only liked wealthy men.
"Long time no see," William said with a faint smile, not engaging much.
There was a misunderstanding between him and Lori. When they were in school, he pursued Mary and asked Lori to pass a love letter, which led to a misunderstanding, making Lori think he was interested in her.
"Where's your wife? Didn't she come with you?" Lori asked with a smile, looking around to find her.
"Lori, who is he? His clothes are so ugly. You know someone like him?" the short girl beside Lori said sarcastically, not hiding her disdain for William at all.
