Chapter 92 Susan's Revenge

Why would Mary know Susan?

William was stunned. Words stuck in his throat for a moment as he didn't know how to respond.

Mary stared at William with red, watery eyes, hoping to see something from his expression, but just saw disappointment.

It was disappointment in William.

Mary got up, covered her mouth, and left the ward, sobbing softly.

William never explained because he didn't know how to.

He wasn't ready to explain to Mary.

Meanwhile, Mary cried alone in the bathroom. Now, she was convinced that William had cheated on her.

Because he didn't explain it to her.

Mary was heartbroken and didn't know how to face William.

After a while, Mary's emotions calmed down. She returned to the ward, ignoring William with a cold face, and only kept Sarah company.

William tried to explain several times, but the words stuck in his throat, and he couldn't say them.

The atmosphere was tense. William voluntarily left the hospital room and called Brenda outside. "Brenda, did anything happen at your company today?"

On the other end of the phone, Brenda was clearly angry and hummed a few times. "William, you scumbag, don't call me again!"

Then she hung up the phone.

William still didn't understand what was going on. He muttered a few words and called again.

As a result, Brenda let loose a barrage of curses. "William, stop calling me, you jerk! I'm blocking you!"

"Brenda, wait. I need to ask you something important," William hurriedly interjected, afraid Brenda would block him in the next second.

Taking advantage of her silence, he quickly asked, "Did Mary meet anyone at your company today?"

It was clear that Mary was supposed to be talking about the cooperation with Loren today, and she must have met Susan at the company.

Brenda's voice was cold. "You're asking me? Don't you know what you did? You cheated on Mary behind her back! Scumbag!"

Brenda was angry now, feeling sorry for Mary.

A useless man like William actually had the nerve to cheat!

The incident in the conference room today has already spread throughout the company.

"Brenda, you must have misunderstood me. Am I that kind of person? Just tell me, who did Mary meet in the company today?" William asked.

Brenda hesitated for a moment and said angrily. "The cooperation with Loren didn't work out today. Suddenly, this woman named Susan Garcia showed up and slapped Mary right in the face during the meeting ..."

Susan slapped Mary?

William's face instantly turned cold and his eyes became sharp!

Mary didn't tell him about this.

William felt guilty towards Susan, but he wouldn't allow anyone to bully Mary.

"Okay, I got it." William hung up the phone, his demeanor becoming intimidating.

He quickly contacted George.

"George, help me get in touch with Susan. I want to meet her," William said coldly.

George replied over the phone, "She happens to be with me. Are you coming over?"

"I'll be right there," William said,

Then, he took a taxi directly to the Golden Age Group building.

In the Chairman's office, Susan sat on the plush sofa with her arms crossed. Her eyes were cold and resentful as she stared at William standing before her.

"It's been seven years, you've changed a lot," Susan said,

Her eyes were very complicated, with surprise, jealousy, hope, and disappointment.

William looked at the woman in front of him. The woman he had felt guilty about for seven years. "Susan, don't let our past affect others. Especially my family," he said.

Susan stood up and slapped William across the face, glaring at him. "William Jones, this slap is payback with interest. What happened between us won't end so easily. Don't forget how you left without a word and how you hurt me!"

Facing William after seven years, Susan's heart was still somewhat unsettled.

Even to the point of some expectations.

However, William's eyes and expression just now betrayed her true feelings.

Susan was also a woman, and she saw that William only had Mary in his heart.

"Susan, I'm sorry for what happened seven years ago. You can do whatever you want to me, but you can't hurt Mary. That's my advice to you," William said.

He felt guilty towards Susan and didn't want to harm her.

But if she really reached out to Mary, William would not hesitate to fight back.

"Advice?" Susan scoffed, her gentle demeanor turning completely cold. "What right do you have to give me advice? Is it not you, William, who caused me to become like this? Why did you leave without a word seven years ago? Why did you let me bear that humiliation alone? Why?"

Susan shouted hoarsely, tears streaming down her cheeks, representing her despair.

"Do you know how I've spent these seven years? For seven whole years, I have become a laughingstock in Kyoto! My family has become a joke!"

"And all of this is caused by you, William!"

"It's you who ruined me. Now, I'm just here to get it back to you. Why are you so nervous?"

"Mary, right? Then let me tell you, William, with me around, you won't have a good day! I will break you up, for sure!"

Susan said a lot in one breath. Her teeth clenched, looking very scary.

William took a deep breath and looked at Susan in front of him, feeling guilty, not knowing that his elopement would cause her so much harm.

She has changed and become a stranger to William. It made him feel terrible.

"I'm sorry, I can apologize to you. If you want to get something back, you can come to me. I will do everything possible to satisfy you. However, Mary and Sarah are my bottom line, and I will not allow them to be hurt. Do you understand?" William said. His gaze was like a torch, staring at Susan.

"Satisfy me?" Susan scoffed. Then she suddenly said, "Fine. Divorce Mary Smith and marry me. Can you do that?"

William frowned slightly, silent.

Susan laughed at herself a few times, tears welling up. "I knew it. You never loved me, so why did you get engaged to me in the first place? Why?"

Faced with the hysterical Susan, William had no choice but to let her vent her anger at him and even let her get physical.

Susan suddenly hugged William tightly, tears streaming down her face as she said, "William, I miss you so much. I really miss you. Promise me, divorce that bitch Mary and I'll listen to you. I won't bother you anymore, even if you find other women outside. Okay?"

It was Susan's love, a love of humility and hatred.

Love that had already deviated from its definition.

William pushed Susan away from his embrace, struggling to find words. "Susan, I'm sorry."

A simple "I'm sorry" had already said it all.

Susan felt completely deflated. William completely tore apart the last bit of softness in her heart and then trampled on the ground.

Wiping away her tears, Susan laughed coldly. "I get it now. In your heart, I'm just an insignificant passerby."

William pursed his lips, wanting to explain, but remained silent.

He wanted neither Mary nor Susan to be harmed because of him.

But some hurts were destined to have already occurred.

He was afraid that the more he explained, the more unclear it would be.

This kind of simplicity may be the best ending for the two of them.

Susan's face was icy cold as she stared into William's eyes and suddenly asked, "William, does your wife know your true identity?"

Now consumed by anger, Susan had only one purpose in mind: revenge.

She wanted to repay William in full for the humiliation from seven years ago.

She wanted him to understand that the harm she had suffered back then was something he could never repay in this lifetime!

William's pupils contracted. He frowned as he asked coldly, "What do you want to do?"

Susan took out her phone, held it in one hand, and a cold smile appeared on her red lips. "If I tell Mary your true identity, what do you think her reaction will be?"

William squinted and a sudden burst of coldness erupted from his body!

With that, Susan dialed the number she had found.

The call went through.

"Hello, who is this?"

It was Mary's voice.
