Chapter 429 Are You Crazy
Cassius plopped back down and sneered, "William, you're setting me up. Who saw me do it? She tripped on her own."
Brenda, eyes blazing with fury, spat through clenched teeth, "You jerk! Those people came outta nowhere. If it wasn't you, then who?"
"Watch your mouth, or you might not make it home tonight," Cassius shot back with a sideways glare.
Brenda, shaken, took a step back, looking at William for support.
William, barely holding back his rage, growled, "How do you wanna die?"
"Die?" Cassius chuckled, clapping his hands. "Let's see who bites the dust, you or me."
Right then, the conference room door flew open.
A bunch of uniformed guys stormed in, all armed and looking deadly serious.
In a flash, William and his crew were surrounded.
Cassius's face twisted with a nasty grin. "Did you really think you could mess with us? Caius couldn't handle you, but I can! Let's see who walks outta here alive today!"
William scanned the room and smirked. "Cassius, you didn't bring enough guys."
Cassius was taken aback for a second, then laughed. "You're full of it. If you walk outta here alive today, I'll handle the BK Pharmaceuticals mess for you."
William shook his head. "I got it covered. You should worry about how you'll beg for mercy."
Cassius, losing his cool, waved his hand. "Take 'em down!"
A bunch of burly, tattooed dudes charged at William and his crew, while Cassius stepped aside, grinning as he watched the chaos unfold.
If he didn't take out William today, his next move would be toast.
He was dead set on getting Mary!
The thugs rushed in, thinking William was a pushover. They had the numbers; the other side was outnumbered. No way they could lose, right?
But their leader hesitated, spotting Alan at the back of the crowd.
"Go!" the leader barked, shaking off his doubts.
Alan, who'd been hanging back, finally stepped up. He cracked his neck and shrugged off his suit, showing off his muscles.
Alan sprang into action!
In no time, the first row of thugs hit the floor, then the second row.
The rest were totally stunned.
When they realized it was Alan, they freaked out.
The remaining thugs, including their leader, dropped to their knees, pleading, "Alan, we're sorry! Please, spare us!"
Cassius was left speechless by the sudden turn of events.
His men were down in under three minutes, and the rest were begging for mercy.
Cassius turned to see Alan, who was glaring at him coldly.
How the hell did William get Alan on his side?
Cassius finally realized he'd missed something big, his eyes wide as he yelled, "What are you doing? Get up! It's just Alan. Take him down, and I'll make you the next Alan!"
Cassius was panicking. Seeing William walking towards him, he was scared out of his mind.
In a fit of panic, he swung a punch at William, who effortlessly caught it and squeezed his fist with such force that Cassius watched in terror as his hand was crushed.
"Ah! You'll die a horrible death! I'll kill you!" Cassius screamed, his face beet-red from the pain. William just sneered, then grabbed Cassius by the collar and dangled him out the window.
Cassius was so scared he wet himself.
The wind whipped past his ears, messing up his hair.
"Pull me in! My brother won't let you get away with this!" Cassius screamed, panicking.
Half his body was hanging out the window.
They were over ten stories up. If he fell, he'd be a splatter on the ground.
"Did you set this up? Think carefully before you answer; you only get one life," William said coldly.
Cassius was completely deflated. William was a madman!
"No!" Cassius denied.
In the next second, William kicked one of his legs out.
Cassius struggled desperately, gripping William's arm tightly and kicking his legs.
Terrified, Cassius exclaimed, "It was me! Pull me up!"
Just looking down made him go limp.
"Good, now tell me, what are you gonna do?" William asked.
"Compensate! I'll compensate. I'll have my brother lift the ban and blockade on BK Pharmaceuticals," Cassius shouted desperately.
"According to my investigation, your company has assets worth seven or eight hundred million dollars. How about transferring it all to BK Pharmaceuticals?" William said again.
"Impossible! That's extortion!" Cassius shouted, his eyes wide.
If he transferred it all to BK Pharmaceuticals, how could he live?
"Fine. Soon, the headlines will say you jumped to your death over a debt crisis. That should grab some attention," William said icily, like a cold-blooded killer.
Cassius's heart sank, and he immediately nodded in agreement.
Afterwards, Cassius, having narrowly escaped death, stood back on solid ground.
That feeling of security was wonderful.
But he had wet his pants, and the smell was awful.
In less than ten minutes, all the asset transfer procedures were completed.
Cassius's company, VitaCure Pharmaceuticals, became a subsidiary of BK Pharmaceuticals.
Since Cassius was the legal representative, the process was smooth.
After signing, Cassius collapsed to the ground in despair.
Just then, footsteps were heard outside.
As the conference room door was pushed open, several figures stormed in.
Leading them was Sterling, exuding a chilling aura. He entered and immediately glanced coldly at Cassius, then fixed his gaze on William.
"Sterling, you're finally here! They forced me to sell the company!" Cassius shouted desperately, as if seeing a savior.
Behind Sterling were two female secretaries and a middle-aged man.
Sterling glanced at Cassius, a hint of gloom flashing across his face, then looked at William and said, "Mr. Jones, this is inappropriate, don't you think?"
William smiled faintly. "So you're Sterling?"
"Yes, I am the president of the Medical Association branch," Sterling said proudly.
William kicked him, sending him sprawling to the ground.
"Are you crazy? Do you know what you're doing?" Sterling roared in anger, his eyes coldly fixed on William.
However, William calmly put his hands in his pockets, looked coldly at Sterling, and said, "Make a call. Let Leander talk to me."
