Chapter 151 Let me go, help!

William raised his eyebrow as he looked at the video in Nancy's hand, and then he extended his arms to snatch it.

But Nancy deftly dodged and stuffed the phone into her chest. Then she boldly puffed out her chest and smirked. "What, you want to take it? Go ahead and try?"

William had no idea about how to get it. Nancy was a scheming woman.

"What do you want?" William asked.

Nancy didn't hesitate; she hooked her arm around William's and smiled intimately. "William, I kept your secret tight-lipped last time. This time, you have to give me some hush money."

William frowned at her. Nancy was so close, and her coy demeanor made it hard to breathe.

"Spit it out, what do you want?" William asked.

"Borrow your car for two days." Nancy didn't hold back then she reached out for the car keys.

A Ferrari! She had never driven one before. If she drove it to school, she'd definitely be the center of attention.

Anyway, she would borrow that Ferrari from William today.

William thought for a moment with his brow furrowed, then shook his head and said, "No way, the car isn't mine."

Nancy got anxious immediately and said, "Not yours? William, that's not a funny joke. Who would lend you a car like this for no reason?"

No way, was William just making excuses because he didn't want to lend her the car?

"It's really not mine."

"Well, I don't care. I want the car today. If you don't lend it to me, I'll send the video to Mary and tell her what happened last time."

Nancy was angry. She sat on the hood of the car, and refused to budge.

William was helpless. He looked around, then took out the car key and tossed it to Nancy."Alright, you can borrow it for two days, just two days. Give it back to me then. The car isn really not mine."

Nancy didn't listen to William's last sentence. She took the car key from William happily .

She couldn't wait to sit in the driver's seat and shouted to William, "Get in. I'll take you for a spin."

William smiled wryly and got in the car.

The two of them drove around the city, and then Nancy dropped William off at the hospital before driving away.

Upon seeing her off, William could only shake his head.

In the afternoon, William spent a long time playing with Sarah, but most of the time he was making funny faces and telling stories to her.

The little gold bracelet Jessica gave yesterday was already on Sarah's wrist.

Seeing the little gold bracelet, William felt a pang of sadness.

It was his mother's belongings.

It had been seven years since he last visited his mother's grave.

As a son,  he felt he had really done a terrible job.

No way around it, the place where his mother rest was not just a simple gravestone.

It was a vast piece of land, tens of thousands of acres, personally bought by Mario and built like an ancient royal mausoleum.

Furthermore, the cemetery was guarded by Jessica's bodyguard.

After leaving the ward, William walked to the garden of the sanatorium and sat on a bench. He held the phone he had never shown to anyone and kept in silence for a long time.

After hesitating for a long time, William finally dialed a number.

The call was answered after about ten seconds and a calm male voice came through. It was emotionless but carried a commanding presence. Respectfully, the voice said, "Mr. Jones, what are your orders?"

William calmly asked, "How are the preparations?"

"Everything is ready, awaiting your command at any time," came the respectful reply from the other end of the line.

"Good," William said. "I don't want any mistakes. The Miller family must be eradicated. In a few days, at the Cloud Peak Manor banquet, you should attend as well. We'll meet there."

"Yes, sir."

William hung up the phone. He looked at the evening glow in the sky, but his mind was unsettled.

To deal with Jessica and the Miller family, he had been preparing for thirteen years.

From the age of twelve, he spent six years investigating his mother's death and making plans. At eighteen, he reached an agreement with Jessica and left the Jones family. He spent four years in obscurity, blending into the lives of the lower class, and then bore the reputation of a waste for three years.

William had thought he could let go of everything. Because he had Mary and Sarah.

But Jessica's sudden visit was a wake-up call for William. He realized that Jessica had never intended to let him go.

The Miller family had an unknown plan.

So, the sword he had kept hidden for so many years would now hang over Jessica's head, as well as over the entire Miller family.

The Jones family must always bear the name Jones.

William's eyes grew darker, and a chilling aura surged around him.

William could have continued to live in obscurity, just for Mary and Sarah.

But now he had no choice as Jessica had already crossed his bottom line.

Mary had dressed up specially today. She had to negotiate business cooperation in HT Pharmaceuticals, which was in the southern district of Lindwood City .

Since the cooperation with Sunshine Bay City Hospital Branch had already begun, BK Pharmaceuticals needed to seek more pharmaceutical factories to produce drugs.

HT Pharmaceuticals was the largest pharmaceutical factory in Lindwood City, backed by powerful forces.

Besides, HT Pharmaceuticals not only had factories in Lindwood City but also branches nationwide, making it a formidable company.

Previously, BK Pharmaceuticals was not qualified to collaborate with HT Pharmaceuticals, but now things were different. With the endorsement of Sunshine Bay City Hospital Branch, they made it.

"Mrs. Smith, you came in person and didn't even let me know. Or I would have come down to greet you myself,"  said Gerald Morgan, the owner of HT Pharmaceuticals, as Mary walked into office building and met him in the chairman's office.

, in the chairman's office.

Gerald was a well-known entrepreneur in Lindwood City, also holding a representative position in the political arena. Moreover, he was listed on the Forbes Billionaires List.

When mentioned Gerald, one must mention his father-in-law, a high-ranking figure in Imperial City with unfathomable power.

Over the years, under his father-in-law's protection, Gerald's pharmaceutical factory had thrived and was on the verge of becoming one of the top ten in the country.

Gerald's wife was a powerful businesswoman with multiple enterprises spanning real estate, film and entertainment, and cultural communication.

In short, Gerald was very successful son-in-law who had earned his father-in-law's favor.

Mary, with a bright smile, extended her hand to Gerald and said, "Mr. Morgan, you're a busy man. How could I trouble you to welcome me?"

Gerald shook hands with Mary, but his eyes was still lingering on her. This woman was really beautiful, just as the rumors said, she was a rare beauty. Her aura was truly captivating.

"Mr. Morgan." Mary felt awkward and she tried to pull her hand away.

Gerald snapped out of it and quickly laughed. "Ah, Mrs. Smith, you are truly a great beauty. I was captivated by your charm."

Mary smiled faintly but became more cautious.

Brenda had warned her that Gerald was not a good person. He was a notorious lecher.

Over the years, he had openly and secretly been involved with many women, and most of the female secretaries hired by the company had been with him.

His wife turned a blind eye to his actions, as she also kept a young lover outside.

The couple had lost their emotional connection long ago but maintained their marriage for business and reputation.

Gerald personally poured water for Mary, and they chatted for a long time. The more they talked, the more Gerald was fascinated by Mary.

Such a woman, yet she married to a loser. What a pity!

Gerald's eyes moved from Mary's fair ankles to her red lips slowly, which was particularly enticing.

Her voice was sweet and tingling.

Gerald swallowed nervously, and he didn't even listen to Mary at all. He sat down next to her, pretending to pour water, but his hands found their way onto Mary's thigh. He smiled. "Mrs. Smith, we can talk business later. Where shall we go for dinner tonight? My treat."

Mary cautiously removed Gerald's hand, changed her sitting position, and smiled. "Mr. Morgan, let's talk business first. If we reach an agreement, we can have a celebration dinner."

With that,Mary took out her phone pretending to check the time, but actually sending a text to William.

Mary could only think of William now, the only one who could give her a sense of security.

Gerald touched his hand, feeling the warmth left on it. He leaned back on the leather sofa, puffed out his beer belly, and smiled. "Mrs. Smith, I have a rule. I discuss business over drinks and dinner. If you can't even do that, I don't think we need to continue our business. HT Pharmaceuticals doesn't lack pharmaceutical companies. In my eyes, BK Pharmaceuticals isn't qualified."

As he spoke, Gerald looked at Mary. He had sinister thoughts already .

She was so beautiful, like the goddess of his dreams for many years.

Gerald felt like ants were gnawing at his heart.

"What's wrong, Mrs. Smith? Don't be nervous; it's just a meal." Gerald reached out to grab Mary's hand, smiling lecherously as he spoke.

Mary forced a smile, pulled her hand away. She stood up and bowed. "Mr. Morgan, it seems we won’t be able to do business."

Pervert!

Upon seeing Mary about to leave, Gerald got panicked. His face twisted, and his voice became sharp. He crazily rushed at Mary and grabbed her from behind.

"Mrs. Smith, don't go. Since you're here, let's have a good talk, be honest with each other. If you spend one night with me, I'll give you as many orders as you want."

Gerald's arms tightly wrapped around Mary, trying to kiss her neck from behind like a brute beast.

In Gerald's eyes, there had never been a woman he couldn't have.

"Let go of me! Help!"

Mary struggled, but she was no match for Gerald. She felt dizzy, her body gradually losing control.

The water had been drugged.
