Chapter 185 How Much Longer Will You Keep This From Me?
The Maybach 62s stopped in front of the Smith Family's old house.
Behind it, there were five black Mercedes, which made its a convoy.
As soon as it appeared, it instantly attracted the attention of passersby and nearby residents.
"So many luxury cars, who's it?"
"The Maybach 62s, that's Alan's car! Why is he here?"
Upon hearing that it was Alan's car, the surrounding crowd quickly stepped back, maintaining a respectful distance as they watched.
He was, after all, the Underking of Shangjiang City—
a name that had once been a nightmare for ordinary folks.
Who could afford to provoke him?
Why did he come here?
"Hey, they're getting out. Who is that? That young man looks familiar."
"Look! That's Alan, and next to him is his subordinate Craig."
"Who is that young man? Alan is respectful to him."
A crowd watched from a distance, discussing among themselves.
The scene was too grand to not attract attention.
"They're heading to the Smith Family," Someone shouted.
Then everyone stared as they saw the young man leading people into the Smith Family's old house.
Inside the Smith Family's old house, with a simple gesture from Alan, several men rushed in, lining up in the living room.
Margaret and Tyler were dragged out of the bedroom.
They were in their pajamas, taking a nap, and were now thrown to the ground.
"Who are you? Who let you in? I'm calling the police."
Margaret stood up imperiously, pointing at the men in black suits and cursing them.
Was Margaret scared?
Absolutely.
But being scared was useless at this moment; she had to act tough.
"Damn it! Do you think wearing black suits makes you the mafia? I'm calling the police right now to have you all arrested."
Margaret was scared so she ran over to the coffee table to grab the landline phone.
But Craig walked in and slapped her hard, knocking her to the ground, then grabbed the phone from her hand and smashed it to pieces.
Margaret was jolted awake by the slap, sitting on the ground, holding onto Tyler, blood oozing from the corner of her mouth.
That slap knocked out two of her teeth.
"Who the hell are you? This is trespassing, it's illegal. If you don't leave, I'll call for help."
Margaret was truly scared now. There were eight people in the room, and the burly man leading them looked fierce. He was staring at her and Tyler.
Were they here to harm them?
Tyler was also terrified. He hid behind Margaret and muttered, "Did you get into trouble again? Why are they here? Is it the guy who hit you last time?"
At the mention of her previous encounter, Margaret's heart trembled. She shook her head desperately and stammered, "I don't know. I haven't been out much these past few days, and I haven't offended anyone."
"Haven't offended anyone?"
At this moment, Alan walked in with a cold aura.
"Mr. Jordan!"
As soon as Alan entered, everyone in the room respectfully called out in unison.
The greeting shattered Margaret's heart.
This was straight out of a movie, too terrifying.
Who had she offended?
"Are you Alan?"
Tyler and Margaret recognized him as the the man from Roy's birthday party.
Why was he here?
They hadn't offended him in any way.
Alan walked in, looking coldly at Margaret and Tyler, and said, "Don't you know what stupid things you've done? Haven't offended anyone?"
Margaret pondered over his words, trying to think of any enemies she might have made. But no one came to mind.
'Does William count? Of course not. He is just a loser. Could it be William had dared to bring so many people to teach me a lesson?' thought Margaret.
It was because she believed William wouldn't cause trouble that Margaret felt safe enough to nap.
Of course, she hadn't told Tyler about being hit by William. After all, if the medicine was found to have problems, she wouldn't be off the hook.
"I don't know. Mr. Jordan, for Roy's sake, can you let us go? Name your price, and I'll pay it."
Margaret was terrified. They said Alan was a ruthless killer.
She immediately rushed into the bedroom to take out a bank card. She placed it on the coffee table nervously then said, "There's two million here. Please accept it and spare me and my husband."
Margaret was scared and wanted to bribe Alan with money.
But Alan just gave a cold smile, not even looking at the bank card, and said, "Sorry, today you offended someone you shouldn't have. I'm here to give you a lifelong lesson."
With that, Alan waved his hand.
Eight of his men rushed forward, two holding down Tyler, while the remaining six took turns beating Margaret.
The room was filled with constant noise.
Margaret's entire face was swollen, bruised, and bleeding from her mouth.
Tyler watched from the side, desperately shouting for help and begging for mercy, but it was to no avail.
Then, with a snap of Alan's fingers, Craig walked over with a bag of powder, sneering as he approached the already dazed Margaret.
Seeing the medicine in his hand, Margaret was terrified to her core, shaking her head and crying out, "I was wrong, I was wrong, please spare me, don't force me to take poison, please!"
But her words were futile.
Craig grabbed Margaret by the neck, while others held her mouth open, and then poured the medicine into her mouth.
Evil deeds do get punished.
Margaret, with her head tilted back, was forced to swallow the medicine, ultimately swallowing more than half of it.
Then, Craig let Margaret off. She collapsed to the ground like a dead dog.
"Consider it a warning. Be more careful in your actions, and I learn to be kind," Alan said coldly, then left with his men.
Margaret, utterly terrified, ran to the bathroom started vomiting repeatedly, but nothing came out.
She lay on the floor and wailed, "I'm going to die. This is murder, Tyler, take me to the hospital."
After Alan and his men left the Smith Family's old house, they met William at the entrance and then got into their cars.
Craig even took out another bag of the medicine from his pocket, drinking it and muttering, "This medicine isn't bad at all, William is still too soft-hearted."
The convoy left the Smith Family's old house.
Meanwhile, the onlookers were buzzing with discussion.
"Isn't that the Smith Family's son-in-law?"
"Oh my God, am I seeing things? He actually knows Alan?"
Everyone was stunned.
Ten minutes later, Tyler and Margaret hurried out.
Margaret had her face wrapped in a scarf and wore sunglasses.
William was now in a small alley.
As soon as William entered the pharmacy, his men followed, immediately starting to smash things.
The middle-aged, chubby owner was panicked and he began to shout, "Hey, what are you doing? Who are you? I'm calling the police."
However, his protest was met with a kick from William.
He was knocked to the ground.
The middle-aged man was terrified, realizing these people were trouble, and stammered, "Who are you?"
William coldly stared at the man and asked, "Two days ago, did you sell any abortion pills?"
The question struck a nerve, and the middle-aged owner knew he was in trouble.
"No! What are you talking about? This is a legitimate pharmacy, selling abortion pills is illegal," the middle-aged man edefended himself weakly, his nervousness palpable.
"Found it!"
At that moment, Craig came out from the back room with a large box of powder.
Then, an elderly man with gray hair stepped out from behind William. He took a quick look and confirmed. "These are abortion pills."
Confronted with the evidence, the middle-aged owner had nothing to say.
He knelt on the ground immediately, crawling to William's feet, begging for mercy, "Sir, I'm sorry, I was wrong. A woman came to buy it; she didn't say anything; I really didn't know it was for your wife, please spare me!"
He had aware that William was not an ordinary person.
Bringing so many people to smash the store, and even having a doctor with him.
He was in big trouble.
However, William just kicked him aside and said to Craig, "Break his limbs and throw him out. I don't want to see him running a pharmacy again. Every time he opens one, make sure it gets shut down!"
"Yes," Craig replied respectfully.
With that, William turned and left.
At that moment, the middle-aged owner realized the extent of his trouble.
Then, Craig approached him, and after a few screams, the middle-aged owner was thrown at the door, lying on the ground, whose fate uncertain.
It wasn't until William left that someone came out of the alley and called an ambulance.
Back at the hospital, William composed himself before entering the ward.
But as soon as he opened the door, he saw a woman who shouldn't have been there.
It was Jessica.
She was sitting by the bed, talking to Mary.
As soon as Mary saw William, she asked in a calm tone, "William, how long are you going to keep this from me? Jessica has already told me everything."
