However, at that moment, Rex's phone suddenly vibrated.
He was about to pick up the phone and hang up.
However, upon seeing the name Edward Reed, he couldn't resist but pause.
After hesitating for two seconds, he didn't hang up the call but instead reached out and answered it.
"Mr. Reed, what can I do for you?" Rex asked obsequiously.
"Don't play dumb with me. When are you planning to pay back my money?" The other party rudely demanded.
"Mr. Reed, can you give me two more days? I promise I'll pay you back in two days!" Rex quickly replied.
"Rex, do you think I'm a fool? I've given you so many days of leeway, and yet you keep delaying. Are you planning on not paying back that over thousands of dollars you borrowed from me?" The other party shouted, sounding agitated.
"Mr. Reed, what are you saying? I wouldn't dare to lie to you! I just managed to secure a deal with a streamer, and I'll have the money soon. Can you give me two more days?" Rex pleaded softly.
"Fine, two days! I'll give you two more days. If you don't have the money by then, I'll come to your school to find you!" The other party hesitated for a moment and then said coldly.
"Okay, Mr. Reed, I'll definitely bring the money to you in two days!"
Rex felt confident that he had Linda under control, so he thought there would be no problem paying back the money.
"Keep your word!" The other partyEdward said coldly and then hung up the phone.

"Damn it, once I get the money, let's see if you dare talk to me like that again, you bastard!" Rex muttered under his breath after hearing the call end. He then turned to look at Linda, ready to continue undressing her.
In the hotel room, Linda lay on the bed, her face flushed, eyes closed, seemingly unaware of what was happening.
Rex looked at Linda's nearly perfect figure, his expression filled with excitement.
Every part of Linda's body, scuh as her long, fair legs and alluring face, seemed to be so captivating.
Rex took a deep breath, trembling hands as he prepared to continue removing her clothes.
But just as he was about to reach out, Linda suddenly opened her eyes and kicked Rex directly between his legs.
Unbeknownst to Rex, who was completely absorbed in his sinister intentions, he never anticipated that Linda would suddenly awaken and promptly kick him to the ground.
Linda had learned Taekwondo as a child, so her kick was quite powerful.
Moreover, Linda was still wearing high heels, and the sharp heel struck Rex's crotch directly, making the pain even more intense!
After kicking Rex down, she quickly reached for her clothes on the bed.
"How did you wake up?" Rex knelt on the ground, clutching his crotch, and cried out in pain.
He felt his whole body go numb, and cold sweat broke out on his forehead from the pain.
Meanwhile, Linda swiftly dressed herself and hastily made her way towards the room's exit with a look of panic on her face.
By the time Rex recovered, he found that Linda had already run out of the room!

Rex cursed inwardly and quickly chased after her.
"Help! Somebody help me!"
After running out of the room, Linda began shouting for help at the top of her lungs.
But unfortunately, the hotel was in a remote location, and there weren't many guests, so no one responded to her cries for help.
Knowing that he had to capture Linda at all costs today, Rex realized that if she managed to escape, not only would he be unable to repay the high-interest loan he owed, but he could also potentially face imprisonment as a result.
"Stop that woman!" Rex shouted to the receptionist as he saw Linda nearing the hotel entrance.
The hotel receptionist, having previously received a bribe from Rex, hesitated for a moment but then reached out to stop Linda.
"What are you doing? This man is trying to assault me. Call the police!" Linda shouted at the receptionist, her expression frantic.
"Don't listen to her nonsense. She's my girlfriend, and we just had a little disagreement earlier!" Upon hearing Linda's words, Rex shouted back.
The hotel receptionist looked Linda up and down and then said softly, "Couples' quarrels don't need the police. Just go back to your room."
Linda realized that the receptionist was clearly in cahoots with Rex; otherwise, they wouldn't have stopped her.
She pushed the receptionist away and ran out onto the street, shouting, "Help! Help! Someone is trying to..."
But before Linda could finish her sentence, Rex rushed out of the hotel, stepped forward, and covered her mouth.
He then smiled awkwardly at the crowd and explained, "Sorry, everyone. My girlfriend and I just had a little argument. She's just throwing a tantrum."
Linda struggled frantically upon hearing Rex's words.
But with Rex tightly covering her mouth, she couldn't say a word.
"Everyone, please disperse. They're a couple and were fine when they came in, and now they're just having a little spat," The hotel receptionist said, stepping forward to help Rex explain.
After all, the receptionist was also involved in this matter. If Rex got into trouble, they wouldn't be able to escape responsibility either.
Upon hearing the receptionist's words, the crowd nodded knowingly, as if they understood the situation.
If Rex had been the only one to say this, it wouldn't have been very convincing. But with the receptionist corroborating his story, it seemed more believable.
So the onlookers dismissed Linda and Rex as a quarreling couple and didn't take Linda's cries for help seriously, dispersing one by one.
Seeing the crowd disperse, Rex finally breathed a sigh of relief and began dragging Linda back into the hotel.

Meanwhile, in a car on the street, James and Pamela had just finished dinner and were leaving Moonlight Garden.
Pamela was planning to drive James home and see if anything might happen between them.
