Chapter 436 Sharon's Plan
8 PM.
James glanced at the clock and figured it was time to head to the Old Captain Bar. He changed his clothes and was about to step out when Linda emerged from her room.
Linda was wide awake and looking stunning. Seeing her brought back memories of last night and the things she had said, making James feel a bit uneasy and he was unsure how to face her.
But to his surprise, Linda seemed completely unfazed, like nothing had happened.
"James, heading out?" she asked with a bright smile.
Caught off guard, James quickly replied, "Yeah, you going somewhere too?"
"Yep, you gave me the keys to a villa yesterday, remember? I'm gonna check it out," Linda said casually, then blushed a little and asked softly, "James, did you take me back to my room last night?"
James felt even more distressed. She didn't even remember how she got back to her room?
"Yeah, I did," he answered after a moment.
"Did I do anything or say anything?" Linda hesitated, looking at him.
"You don't remember what happened last night?" James asked, incredulous.
Linda looked embarrassed, pouting slightly. "I have a low tolerance for alcohol. I get drunk easily and forget what I've done. I remember you were in a bad mood and wanted to drink with me, but after that, it's all a blur."
"Got it," James nodded thoughtfully.
"Did I do anything to you last night?" Linda asked quickly, seeing his odd expression.
"You didn't do anything or say anything. You fell asleep after drinking, and I took you back to your room and went to mine," James said, deciding it was best to keep last night's events to himself. It would be too awkward if she knew, and he wasn't planning on getting involved with her right now. Better to act like nothing had happened.
"Really? I didn't do or say anything?" Linda asked seriously, blinking her charming eyes.
"Yeah, it's true, you just drank a bit and fell asleep," James said helplessly.
"That's a relief," Linda sighed, patting her ample chest.
"Isn't it a bit late for you to be heading out alone?" James asked, trying to steer the conversation away from last night.
"It's fine, I'm just checking out your friend's villa. If it's nice, I'll choose it and won't have to look for another place," Linda replied with a bright smile.
"Alright, but don't stay out too long. It's getting late," James said softly.
"Sure!" Linda nodded and headed out.
James watched her leave, hesitated for a moment, then stepped out himself.
Meanwhile, across town.
Sharon rushed home after work. Her cousin Evelyn was lounging on the couch, watching TV and looking quite seductive.
"Evelyn, did you set up the meeting with Mr. Smith at the Old Captain Bar?" Sharon asked excitedly as she kicked off her high heels.
"Mr. Smith? That loser James? Yeah, I set it up for 8 PM. Don't worry, he will be there," Evelyn replied with a pout.
"8 PM?" Sharon exclaimed, checking her phone. "Why didn't you tell me earlier? It's almost 8 now. What if Mr. Smith—I mean, James leaves?"
"Relax, he won't leave. Even if we're a bit late, that loser will wait," Evelyn said dismissively, unaware of James's true identity.
Sharon sighed, not wanting to argue, and hurried to her bedroom.
In her room, Sharon rifled through her wardrobe, pulling out several outfits. She quickly changed into a black bodycon dress that accentuated her stunning figure. Her long legs were wrapped in black stockings, and a blue diamond necklace adorned her delicate collarbone, making her look even more elegant and alluring.
Sharon had both beauty and a killer figure. Her natural charm was irresistible, and she knew it. She believed that no man, including James, could resist her. Plus, she had a secret weapon.
She opened her bag and took out a bottle of pills, a special drug from a friend abroad, capable of making someone lose their senses with just one dose.
Sharon's goal was clear: she had to sleep with James tonight. Conveniently, she was ovulating. If she got pregnant, she could secure her place in a wealthy family and achieve the life she always dreamed of!
