Chapter 398 Changing the Course of Life
The phone rang twice before Glenn picked up and said, "James? What's up?"
Glenn didn't really know James that well. The last time he helped him out, it was just as a favor for someone else.
So Glenn definitely wasn't going to be as polite to James as he would be to Charles.
"Hey, Tigerheart, I was wondering where you have Savannah. I need to find her for something," James asked, trying to be polite.
"You mean the woman you asked me to take away that night?" Glenn paused for a moment before replying.
"Yeah, that's the one!"
"I'll send you the location. When you get there, just mention my name, and someone will take you to her," Glenn said slowly.
"Alright, thanks!" James replied, still polite.
"No need to thank me. I'm just doing a favor for someone else. You don't have to be so formal," Glenn said with a smile.
James paused, then asked, "Tigerheart, I've always been curious. Who asked you to help me? Can you give me a hint?"
Glenn laughed at James's question, then calmly said, "I can't tell you that right now. I promised to keep it a secret. But don't worry; when that person wants you to know, they'll tell you themselves. So even if you ask me now, I won't spill."
"Alright then!" James said, a bit helpless, then added, "I'll hang up now."
"Okay!" Glenn replied and hung up.
After hanging up, James sighed. He'd always been curious about who had asked such a big shot like Glenn to help him that night.
If Glenn had come because of Willard, James wouldn't be so puzzled. After all, Willard did have the status to know Tigerheart. But Charles and Terry both said that Glenn didn't know Willard; if they did know each other, Charles would definitely know.
This made James even more curious about who had asked Tigerheart to help him. After all, getting Tigerheart to come over in a helicopter was no small feat!
At that moment, James's phone buzzed.
He took out his phone and saw a message from Glenn with an address.
After getting the address, James didn't waste any time and headed outside.
After waiting by the roadside for about five or six minutes, Charles's Bentley pulled up. The driver quickly got out and opened the door for James.
James glanced at Charles inside the car, then got in.
Moments later, the Bentley disappeared from the community entrance, heading towards a suburb of Lumina City.
Inside the Bentley, Charles turned to James with a smile. "Mr. Smith, have you made up your mind?"
"Yeah, I have. If I keep being soft-hearted, I'll end up dead at the hands of the Edwards family," James replied.
Charles smiled, satisfied. "Mr. Smith, I'm glad you get it now. I think you'll soon adapt to your new role."
James glanced at Charles but stayed silent.
Half an hour later, the Bentley pulled up in front of a villa in the suburbs of Lumina City.
"Mr. Smith, Mr. Wilson, we're here!" the driver announced.
"You two wait here. Mr. Smith and I will go in," Charles said, knowing Savannah was under Glenn's control, so there was no need for the driver and bodyguard to follow.
"Okay!" The driver quickly nodded.
James got out of the Bentley with Charles and walked towards the villa. Although James appeared calm, he was actually very nervous because he knew that what was about to happen could change his life forever.
He was thinking about whether he should have sex with Savannah if she didn't cooperate.
Charles seemed to notice James's nervousness but said nothing. If James couldn't handle this, he wasn't qualified to deal with Rockefeller.
Following Glenn's address, James and Charles found the villa where Savannah was.
James hesitated for a moment before finally knocking on the door.
"Who is it?" A man's voice came from inside the villa.
"It's James. Tigerheart sent me," James replied calmly.
"Oh, Mr. Smith! Just a moment!" The man shouted, and then there was the sound of hurried footsteps inside.
The villa door slowly opened, and a man in a suit poked his head out. After confirming that it was indeed James and Charles outside, he smiled and said, "Mr. Smith, Mr. Wilson, hello!"
"Are you Tigerheart's man?" James looked the suited man up and down and asked softly.
"Yes, I'm Tigerheart's driver. You can call me Noe," the suited man replied respectfully. As Glenn's driver, he knew what James and Charles were up to, so he was extremely humble.
"Thanks for your hard work. Where's Savannah?" James didn't waste any time and asked directly.
"In the bedroom. Mr. Smith, Mr. Wilson, please follow me," the suited man said, opening the villa door fully and making way for James and Charles.
James hesitated for a moment before stepping into the villa.
