Chapter 351 Leave a Way Out
Savannah was indeed charming and attractive, and today she was wearing a low-cut spaghetti strap mini dress, her tall and sexy figure on full display.
Her beautiful legs were exposed under the short skirt, and her high-heeled sandals highlighted her curves. Her ample chest seemed ready to burst out of her top. Although her pretty face showed a hint of nervousness, she was still incredibly sexy and captivating, not at all inferior to Laura and Uma.
Moreover, Savannah might be a bit older than Laura, making her appear more mature and alluring.
When Savannah took the initiative to throw herself into a man's arms, any normal man would probably fall for her charm.
So when Savannah finished saying she could compensate James with her body, she gave James a proud look.
Unfortunately, James's expression remained calm, showing no sign of being moved.
James wasn't swayed by Savannah's words at all. On the contrary, he pressed the gun barrel even tighter against Savannah's head, as if he could pull the trigger at any moment.
Seeing the hint of killing intent in James's eyes, Savannah quickly shook her head at him. "Please don't!"
But James ignored her completely. At that moment, he had only one thought in his mind: to kill Savannah.
Just as James was about to pull the trigger, Laura suddenly stepped forward and shouted, "James!"
James paused at Laura's words, then looked at her indifferently.
"James, stop. If you kill Savannah now, there will be no turning back for you. I don't know who you are or what inheritance you're supposed to get, but if you shoot in front of so many people, even with Tigerheart's protection, you won't escape the law. So I'm begging you, let her go!"
Laura walked up to James, her expression extremely agitated.
"Yeah, James! If you shoot, your life will be ruined. Think it through!" Nancy hesitated for a moment but also shouted.
Although neither of them knew what was going on today, they both knew that if James really shot, the consequences would be unimaginable.
James stared at Laura, a hint of hesitation in his eyes.
Among all the people present, only Laura's words seemed to have any effect on James, and she did step forward to stop him.
Savannah, very clever, saw James hesitating and quickly shouted at him, "Yes, James, you should listen to them. If you kill me, my family will definitely hunt you down. Even if you don't care about yourself, think of your family and your fiancée. Do you really want to see them suffer?"
James was stunned by her words, his expression noticeably calmer.
Seeing her words had an effect, Savannah continued, "Think it through. If you let me go now, I promise my family and me won't seek revenge. Or you and anyone associtated with you will meet a terrible fate!"
James took a step forward and asked Savannah calmly, "Are you threatening me?"
Savannah shook her head vigorously, her voice hoarse. "No, no, I wouldn't dare; I'm just stating the facts. You should know my intentions; after your right to inherit is gone, my family won't consider you a threat anymore. But if I'm dead, they might go crazy, and you can imagine what will happen.".
"Yeah, James, I'm begging you, stop!" Laura also urged James.
But Laura wasn't worried about her own safety; she was worried that if James killed Savannah, it would bring him fatal trouble.
James took a deep breath, then turned to Glenn and asked quietly, "Can I ask you to do something for me?"
"Go ahead. If it's within my power, I'll do my best to help you!" Glenn replied expressionlessly.
"I want you to take this woman away and arrange for her to stay in a hotel. If I need her, I'll contact you," James said calmly.
James knew very well that Savannah's words were not a joke. If he really killed her now, it could provoke the Edwards family's crazy revenge.
But if he let Savannah go now, he couldn't guarantee that she and the Edwards family would really leave him and the Hall family alone.
Moreover, by tomorrow, James would no longer have Charles and Terry's help. He would have no ability to resist the Edwards family, so he had to leave himself a way out.
He figured that as long as he still controlled Savannah, the Edwards family wouldn't dare to act recklessly.
Glenn hesitated for two seconds after hearing James's words, then walked up to him and said, "I can take this woman away, but I can't hold her for too long, at most half a month. If that's acceptable, I'll take her now."
"Okay, thank you!" James sincerely thanked Glenn.
"No need, just doing my job." Glenn smiled faintly at James, then had his men take Savannah onto the helicopter.
Savannah was relatively satisfied with this outcome. After all, as long as she didn't die at James's hands, there was still hope.
James turned to Glenn and asked, "Who exactly asked you to help me today?"
James had been curious about this all along. After all, Glenn wasn't called by Charles or Terry.
And James himself was just a poor student. Why would this Tigerheart personally come to help him?
James couldn't figure out who had such influence to get Tigerheart involved.
