Seeing Sarah frozen in place, Jennifer said even more smugly, "I told you before don't get involved with James because he's just a broke loser, but you wouldn't listen. Now you regret it, don't you? James is a thief, and you actually wanted to be with a thief. That's hilarious!"
"James could never be a thief," Sarah replied with an unusually puzzled look in her eyes.
"Impossible? Now the evidence is clear. The class funds were hidden in James's desk, and all the classmates saw it. You still don't believe it?" Jennifer said coldly.
"Impossible, absolutely impossible!"
Sarah knew his background and knew James would never steal such a small amount of money.
"Looks like James really has you under his spell."
Seeing that Sarah still didn't believe James was a thief, Jennifer shook her head helplessly.
"Alright, stop wasting time with someone like James. Expel him already!"

Louis nodded slightly, then walked up to the podium, standing next to James, and said expressionlessly, "After investigating with Mr. Sanders, we found that today's incident is not as simple as everyone thinks. The real thief is not James but Elbert himself!"
"What does that mean?"
The students in the classroom widened their eyes in disbelief.
"Elbert took the class funds during gym class and hid them in James's desk, then stood up to frame James. This is a classic case of framing!" Louis continued.
The moment he finished speaking, a hushed silence descended upon the entire classroom.
Everyone's mouths were wide open, and Jennifer, Michael, Ashley, and others were utterly shocked.
Janet and Donna were also stunned.
Sarah breathed a sigh of relief because if this was the case, everything made sense. James, a super-rich kid, couldn't possibly steal class funds. What a joke!
"Mr. Turner, are you sure the thief is Elbert himself?" Michael hesitated and asked Louis, unwilling to give up.
"Yeah, Mr. Turner, you must be mistaken. Elbert can't be the thief. Were you bribed by James? The money was found in James's desk; he must be the thief!"
Jennifer knew the situation was exposed but still argued forcefully.
"Yeah, Mr. Turner, James must be the thief. Were you bribed by James?"
Michael's followers also stood up and shouted loudly.
Upon hearing Jennifer and Michael's remarks, Louis forcefully slammed his hand on the table in front of him and shouted, "Enough! Do you honestly believe that Mr. Sanders and I were both bribed by James?"
Michael's followers fell silent after hearing Louis's words.
Louis turned to Elbert and shouted coldly, "Elbert, what are you standing there for? Come up and apologize to everyone."
Elbert hesitated, then walked up to the podium, biting his lip, and said softly, "Mr. Turner is right. I stole the class funds and hid them in James's desk to frame him."
Jennifer, who had been confident, took two steps back and sat down in her chair, her eyes filled with panic.
Michael's eyes turned red as he looked at Elbert, unable to understand why Elbert would admit to everything!
Ashley gave a bitter smile. She had opposed the plan before, feeling something was off, and now it had all come to light.

Recognizing that his fate rested in James's hands, Elbert turned towards him with an expression of excitement and uttered,, "James, I know I was wrong. I shouldn't have framed you. Please, as long as you don't expel me, I'll do anything you want. I'm begging you."
Jennifer, Michael, and others felt their hearts sink as they saw Elbert's groveling.
