Chapter 94 The Temptations Are Just Too Many

Sarah looked pitifully at James.

"If last night, I hadn't joined Jennifer and the others in mocking you, and today I hadn't exposed your identity in front of so many people, would you consider being with me?" Sarah asked softly after a two-second pause.

"Maybe," James replied indifferently.

As a girl, Sarah was top-notch in both figure and looks.

Moreover, she wasn't as snobbish as Jennifer and Ashley. James had sensed this last night at Stellar.

However, Sarah couldn't accept that James was a delivery guy because she felt that being with him would be embarrassing if he really was one.

So James thought that if yesterday's incident hadn't happened, he might not have been opposed to dating Sarah.

"So, does that mean you actually have a pretty good impression of me?" Sarah exclaimed excitedly to James.

Hearing Sarah's words, James was momentarily stunned because he didn't know how to respond.

"If you have a good impression of me, that means I still have a chance. I won't give up. Sooner or later, I'll make you truly fall for me!" Sarah said to James with determination.

"What you want to do is none of my business. I only have one request for you: don't expose my identity. If Evelyn and the others find out, I won't let you off!" James didn't want to continue the discussion with Sarah and said coldly before turning and walking out of the room.

'James, I won't give up easily. Sooner or later, I'll win you over!' Sarah vowed silently as she watched James leave.

As for James worrying that Sarah would expose his identity, he was overthinking it.

Sarah had no such intention. After all, the more people who knew James' identity, the more girls would try to seduce him, increasing her competition.

She wasn't foolish enough to reveal James' identity.

Meanwhile, seeing James come out, Pamela breathed a sigh of relief.

In such a short time, nothing could have happened between James and Sarah in the room.

Moreover, from James' current state, it seemed he wasn't with Sarah; otherwise, they would have come out holding hands.

"James, you're out?"

Pamela walked up to James in high heels and naturally linked her arm with his.

James looked at Pamela beside him, feeling a bit helpless.

He had just been forcibly kissed by Sarah in the room, and now Pamela appeared. It seemed that having money wasn't necessarily a good thing; the temptations were too many.

"Let's go," James said softly to Pamela.

"Okay, James, it's getting late. How about we go have a meal to celebrate you just buying a villa?" Pamela said with a smile.

Hearing Pamela's words, James couldn't help but pause and then said, "Alright, I'm a bit hungry too."

"Then let's go quickly!"

Seeing James agree, Pamela beamed with joy and quickly pulled James towards the villa's exit, leaving Sarah alone inside.

By the time Sarah came out of the bedroom, James and Pamela had already left.

Pamela drove James towards a restaurant.

About ten minutes later, as the car passed a luxury store, James suddenly paused.

A large crowd had gathered at the store's entrance, and in the middle, a handsome young man in a suit was kneeling on one knee with a bouquet of roses, seemingly confessing to a beautiful girl.

And that girl was Linda!

Kneeling in front of Linda was Rex, the one who had stolen James' account.

James sat in the car, feeling uncomfortable as he watched Rex kneeling in front of Linda, his breathing becoming heavy.

"James, are you okay?" Pamela noticed James' pale face and asked softly.

"I'm fine." James shook his head lightly.

He thought of Linda's recent attitude towards him and the things she had said, feeling a bit heartbroken.

So James vowed that no matter what happened to Linda in the future, he wouldn't care anymore.

After all, he and Linda were just ordinary roommates. Even if Rex deceived Linda, it wouldn't affect him.

But just as Pamela was about to drive past the store, James couldn't help but shout, "Stop the car."

Pamela quickly hit the brakes and turned to James, puzzled, "James, is there something you need to do?"

"I'll handle something and be right back," James replied softly, then opened the car door and walked towards Linda and Rex.

Pamela hesitated for a moment before following in her high heels.

At the store entrance.

Rex held 99 roses, kneeling on one knee.

Linda looked at Rex in shock, not expecting him to confess to her here.

"Linda, from the first day I saw you, I liked you. I swear, if you be with me, I'll treat you well. Please, don't reject me, be with me!" Rex said sincerely to Linda.

Linda's expression was conflicted because she didn't know if she liked Rex or if she should accept him.

After all, Rex had helped her in her live stream and later with Kevin's issue.

So Linda had some good feelings towards Rex, but she didn't know if it was love or like.

"Linda, I know you're very conflicted right now. We've known each other for a short time, so you might not know me well. But I truly like you. If you give me a chance, we can date and get to know each other better!"

It was clear that Rex had come well prepared. Seeing Linda's hesitation, he continued emotionally.

"Rex, I..." Linda hesitated, not knowing how to respond.

"Say yes!"

At that moment, two young men at the store entrance started chanting.

The surrounding crowd joined in, shouting for her to accept, making the atmosphere lively.

Linda seemed influenced by the atmosphere and was about to agree to date Rex to get to know him better.

"Rex, I agree..."

Linda hesitated but was about to agree when a figure rushed in front of her and snatched the roses from Rex's hand.
