Chapter 370 A Video Clip

Conference Room.

When Matthew appeared, the entire room fell silent.

All the lawyers present stood up and looked towards Matthew.

"Mr. Edwards." Out of courtesy, Charles walked up to Matthew and greeted him.

Matthew glanced at Charles expressionlessly, then walked directly to James and casually asked, "You must be James, right?"

"That's right, it's me!" James gave Matthew a casual look, his tone equally nonchalant, showing no sign of being intimidated by Matthew.

After all, James had nothing to lose now; he was fearless.

"Where is my sister?" Matthew gritted his teeth and asked James in a low voice.

"I don't know where your sister is either. She was taken by Tigerheart's people. If you're here to find your sister today, you might be in the wrong place!" James said to Matthew.

Matthew's face flashed with anger upon hearing James' words.

He hadn't expected that even at this point, James would still have the guts to oppose him.

"Mr. Edwards, we received your call earlier saying that Mr. Smith violated the terms of the inheritance contract. Now that both you and Mr. Smith are here, can we start the arbitration meeting?" Eldon suddenly spoke up to Matthew.

Matthew took a deep breath upon hearing this, then said to James in a low voice, "I'll deal with you after I finish my business!"

James looked at Matthew with a disdainful smile and said nothing.

"Mr. Soto, I have evidence that James violated the terms of the will, so I request the legal team to revoke James' status as an heir!" Matthew turned to Eldon with a serious expression.

Eldon glanced at Matthew and then said, "Mr. Edwards, please show us the evidence first."

"Mr. Soto, rest assured, I never do anything I'm not confident about. Since I called you all here, it means the evidence I have can definitely prove that James violated the terms of the contract!"

Matthew smiled confidently, then glanced at his bodyguard behind him.

Seeing Matthew's look, the bodyguard quickly took out a USB drive from his pocket and handed it to Matthew.

Matthew took the drive and said to Eldon with a smile, "Mr. Soto, this is my evidence!"

Eldon hesitated for a moment, then reached out to take the drive, preparing to connect it to his computer.

Matthew raised his voice. "Mr. Soto, there's no need for you to watch such a good thing alone. I think you should play it for everyone present."

Eldon turned to Charles and then said softly, "Mr. Wilson, since Mr. Edwards has said so, please play the video for everyone to see."

"Alright!"

Charles nodded, took the USB drive, and walked to the projector in the conference room.

James sat expressionlessly, his face calm.

James had anticipated this outcome, so he remained very calm.

Charles stood in front of the projector, clicked a few times, and quickly found the video stored on the USB drive.

Seeing the video, Charles turned to Eldon and asked softly, "Mr. Soto, should we start now?"

"Yes, you can start now!" Eldon nodded slightly.

Charles took a deep breath upon hearing this, then clicked the mouse.

The projection screen quickly began to play the footage of James talking to Savannah from the previous night. From the angle of the footage, it was clear that someone had secretly recorded it from a prearranged position.

The video was very clear, and the conversation between James and Savannah could be heard distinctly. Most importantly, the person recording the video occasionally focused the camera on Laura, indicating that Laura could hear James and Savannah's conversation.

After watching the video, all the lawyers in the conference room showed shocked expressions, their eyes filled with disbelief.

Especially Eldon, who was not only watching the video but also taking notes on every word James and Savannah said.

James, however, remained indifferent, sitting calmly on the sofa watching the projection screen.

It was clear that all of this had been planned by Matthew in advance. Whether it was Efrain's provocation or Savannah's appearance, it was all arranged by Matthew. Otherwise, it would have been impossible for someone to record this video.

To ordinary people, this video might have no value, but in Matthew's hands, it was a different story.

In the blink of an eye, half an hour had passed.

The video finally ended.

When Matthew saw the video end, he showed a very satisfied smile and then asked Eldon, "Mr. Soto, if I remember correctly, Willard's will clearly states that for James to inherit his estate, he must marry Laura, and before their official marriage, James cannot reveal his identity to her!"

Eldon quickly took out the inheritance contract and carefully checked it, then said in a low voice, "Mr. Edwards, you are correct. Willard did leave such a provision in the contract!"

"Then that's it! James has not married Laura yet, but he revealed his identity to her in advance. Doesn't that count as violating the terms of the contract?" Matthew asked Eldon.

Eldon hesitated for a moment, then said in a low voice, "Mr. Edwards, we still need to confirm that the video you provided is genuine. Then we can determine whether he should be disqualified as an heir or not."

"Good, very good!"

Matthew was extremely excited upon hearing this and laughed loudly, then said, "Mr. Soto, you can check the video now. I guarantee that it is genuine and has not been edited or altered in any way."

Eldon nodded slightly, then walked towards the computer.

"No need to go through the trouble. I can prove that the video is indeed real!" James suddenly spoke up.
