Chapter 357 Ferrari Dealership
The next day, at 8 AM.
In a villa located in the center of Lumina City.
James slowly opened his eyes and then sat on the bed, carefully examining the extremely luxurious bedroom, a helpless smile appearing on his face.
"I wonder how long I can stay here!"
James couldn't help but sigh, then got up to go to the bathroom to freshen up. He planned to splurge a bit while he still had control over the inheritance.
After all, since inheriting the estate, James hadn't bought much for himself besides a few villas.
So he planned to buy a few more houses. Even if Matthew and the others did strip him of his inheritance rights, he could sell these houses and still live comfortably for the rest of his life.
A few minutes later, James finished freshening up.
After coming out of the bathroom, James took out his phone and dialed Pamela's number.
Pamela's face lit up with joy when she saw it was James calling, and she answered in a sweet voice. "Mr. Smith, what a surprise to get a call from you! You haven't contacted me in so long, I thought you had forgotten about me!"
"Pamela, has your company recently opened any new developments? I'm looking to buy a few houses!"
James walked to the wardrobe in the bedroom, looking at the brand-name clothes someone had prepared for him, and casually took out a suit to change into.
"Yes, our company recently opened a new villa community. If you're interested, Mr. Smith, I can take you to see it now!" Pamela said excitedly.
"Aren't villas hard to sell?" James asked, puzzled.
"Mr. Smith, are you planning to buy houses as an investment?" Pamela asked, equally puzzled.
"Yes, I plan to buy a few more and sell them when the prices go up. Do you have any good recommendations?"
After changing his clothes, James stood in front of the mirror, carefully checking his appearance. Satisfied, he left the bedroom.
"Yes, if you're looking for smaller units, we have those too. How about I come over to pick you up?" Pamela asked.
"No need for that. Just send me the address of the sales office, and I'll go there myself," James said calmly.
"Alright, I'll send you the address now. I'll be waiting for you there!" Pamela's voice revealed a hint of excitement, knowing her golden goose was finally coming.
"Okay." James replied briefly and then hung up the phone.
After finishing the call with Pamela, James walked out of the villa and hailed a taxi.
"Sir, where to?" The taxi driver asked respectfully, noticing James's brand-name attire.
James felt a bit uncomfortable with the driver's respectful attitude, as few people had ever spoken to him that way.
'Looks like wearing brand names really makes a difference!'
James couldn't help but sigh as he looked at his Versace suit, then said to the driver, "Take me to the nearest car dealership. I want to buy a car."
"Sir, what price range are you looking at?" the taxi driver asked, surprised.
"The more expensive, the better!" James replied without hesitation.
"Got it!"
The taxi driver responded quickly and drove off.
Twenty minutes later, the taxi stopped in front of a Ferrari dealership.
The taxi driver turned and smiled at James, saying, "Sir, the cars here should meet your needs!"
"Okay." James nodded, then pulled out a wad of cash from his wallet and tossed it to the driver before walking into the dealership with a swagger.
The taxi driver looked at the cash in front of him, his face filled with excitement, unable to speak.
Although he had seen many wealthy people before, he had never seen anyone this rich!
James knew that in a few days, this money might not be his anymore, so he might as well use it to benefit the working class, as he was once one of them.
Upon entering the dealership, a beautiful woman in a short skirt with a charming smile approached James and asked softly, "Sir, are you here to look at cars?"
James's attire was quite impressive, all brand names, so the woman spoke to him very respectfully.
If James had come in dressed shabbily, people would have ignored him.
"Which is your most expensive car?" James asked directly, glancing at the woman.
"The most expensive one?"
The woman was taken aback, then walked over to a sports car, leaned against the door in a seductive pose that outlined her hips, and said with a smile, "Sir, this Ferrari F12 is our latest model, featuring a series of revolutionary advanced technologies. Many of the interior features are imported..."
The woman began to explain in detail.
James didn't know much about cars; as long as it looked cool and was expensive, it was fine.
So he pointed at the Ferrari and said, "I'll take this one."
"What?" The woman exclaimed in surprise, then asked, "Sir, are you saying you want to buy this car?"
"That's right. Is there a problem?" James asked, a bit annoyed.
The woman hesitated, then said, "This Ferrari is our latest model this year, priced at fifteen million dollars. But we're having a promotion, so we can give you a ten percent discount. If you're really interested, you can put down a deposit, and I'll reserve the discount for you."
"Why would I put down a deposit? Just tell me how much I need to pay to drive it away right now!" James asked boldly.
"How much to drive it away? Thirteen million dollars, and it's yours!" The woman answered nervously.
"Alright, go swipe the card!"
James didn't waste any more time and tossed his bank card to the woman.
The woman looked at the card in her hand, completely stunned, standing there in disbelief.
In all her years as a car saleswoman, she had never encountered a customer like this!
"What are you waiting for? Go swipe the card!"
James urged softly when he saw the woman was still in a daze.
"Okay, please wait a moment!"
The woman stammered, then ran to the front desk with the card.
James couldn't help but smile at the astonished looks from everyone around him and softly sighed, "Being rich is really quite enjoyable!"
