Chapter 310 Are You Planning to Keep Acting?

"How could Willie come to Conrad's birthday banquet?"

"Yeah, since when did the Hall Family know Willie?"

"I don't know, someone like Willie isn't someone just anyone can know!"

The guests in the restaurant started whispering among themselves upon hearing that Willie had arrived.

Conrad's face was full of confusion at this moment. He didn't even know someone like Lucian, let alone Willie from so far away in Sunnyvale.

So he thought Willie definitely wasn't here for him, but probably for Kirk and Floyd.

Conrad hesitated for a moment and asked in a low voice, "Kirk and Floyd, do either of you know this Willie?"

"No, we don't!" Floyd and Kirk both shook their heads.

"Then what's going on? Our Hall Family has never had any contact with Willie. How could he possibly come to my birthday banquet?" Conrad muttered with a frown.

Rufus suddenly spoke up, "Conrad, I think since even someone like Lucian came to wish you a happy birthday, it's not impossible for Willie to come too!"

Conrad realized that this Willie was obviously another actor hired by James, who didn't know that James had already been exposed, so he was still following the original plan.

"That James is really shameless, daring to have someone impersonate Mr. Reed. If Mr. Reed finds out, won't it implicate our entire Hall Family?" Conrad snorted coldly, then squinted his eyes and looked grimly at the entrance.

The guests present also realized what was going on and looked at the entrance with expressions of anticipation, waiting for the legendary Willie to appear.

Before long, an elderly man with white hair, dressed in a suit, appeared in everyone's sight, followed by two burly bodyguards.

"Conrad, I have to say, the actor James found is quite good. This person really looks like a billionaire. His demeanor and the way he walks are very natural. His acting skills are indeed impressive!" Kirk said to Conrad with a smile.

"Fake is fake. No matter how good the acting is, it can't be real. Today, I want to see what tricks this person can play!" Conrad snorted coldly.

Just as Conrad finished speaking, Willie walked up to him, cupped his hands slightly, and said with a smile, "I am Willie. I came here today to wish Mr. Hall, the grandfather of Mr. Smith's fiancée, a happy birthday!"

"Hahahaha!"

As soon as Willie finished speaking, the restaurant erupted in laughter.

Everyone looked at Willie with mocking eyes, leaving Willie puzzled because he had no idea that everyone thought he was an actor hired by James.

As the richest man in the city, Willie had never been treated like this before.

But considering he was here for James, he didn't dare to lose his temper and could only ask politely, "Why are you all laughing?"

"You're here because of James, right?" Conrad asked Willie expressionlessly.

"That's right!" Willie nodded lightly.

"Alright, the restaurant is full now. You can wait outside for a bit!" Conrad waved his hand casually as he spoke.

Upon hearing this, Willie's expression changed instantly, and his brows furrowed.

As the richest man in the city, Willie had never been so belittled.

If it weren't for James, it would be nearly impossible for someone like Conrad to meet Willie.

Today, Willie had lowered himself to come and wish Conrad a happy birthday, which should have been a great honor for Conrad. Even if Conrad wasn't grateful, he should at least be a bit polite, right?

But who would have thought that Conrad would be so impolite, even telling Willie to wait outside.

What was this all about?

Willie hesitated for a moment and asked Conrad, "Mr. Hall, I came here specifically to wish you a happy birthday, but it seems you are not very welcoming!"

"Of course, I'm happy to have someone come to wish me a happy birthday!" Conrad replied with a cold smile.

"Then what do you mean by this? I traveled a long way to get here, and not only did you not treat me sincerely, but you also told me to wait outside. What is this all about?"

Willie, mindful of the relationship between Conrad and James, tried to control his emotions and not lose his temper easily.

"Don't you understand human language? My father already made it very clear. The restaurant is full now. If you want to stay for dinner, wait outside. When there's a seat available, we'll call you in. If you don't want to wait, then get lost. We don't have time to waste on you, got it?" Zachariah, also thinking Willie was an actor hired by James, spoke harshly.

"How dare you talk to Mr. Reed like that? Are you tired of living? If it weren't for Mr. Smith, what is your Hall Family? Do you really think that just because you have a connection with Mr. Smith, you can be so arrogant?"

One of Willie's bodyguards, unable to hold back after hearing Zachariah's words, stepped forward and shouted at him.

Instead of getting angry, Zachariah and the guests laughed even harder upon hearing the bodyguard's words.

Willie and his bodyguard were left puzzled, unable to understand what was going on.

"Alright, stop acting in front of us. Go do whatever you need to do!" Conrad, not wanting the guests to continue laughing at the Hall Family, waved impatiently at Willie.

"Acting?" Willie was even more puzzled by Conrad's words, unable to understand what was happening.

"Mr. Hall, what do you mean by that? How am I acting? I came here sincerely to wish you a happy birthday," Willie tried to explain.

"Enough, are you still planning to keep acting?" Conrad waved his hand irritably and continued, "Since you two love acting so much, go act outside. Don't stand here and disturb the other guests."

The bodyguard, having followed Willie for many years, had never seen him humiliated like this, and shouted at Willie in an agitated tone, "Mr. Reed, let's go!"
