Chapter 400 I'll Give You Two Choices

"Agree to one condition?" Savannah blurted out, unable to hold back her curiosity.

"I need you to keep an eye on the Edwards family. If they make any moves, you gotta let me know right away," James said, his face dead serious.

Savannah was taken aback. She never thought James would want her to play spy against the Edwards family.

"You've got two choices now. Either you agree to my terms, or you die here. Your call," James threatened, though he had no real intention of killing her. He just wanted to scare her into compliance.

Savannah hesitated for a moment before agreeing, "Alright, fine. I'll help you keep tabs on the Edwards family, just let me go."

"Deal," James replied with a grin.

Savannah felt a flicker of excitement. She couldn't believe James bought her act so easily. She only agreed to buy herself some time. Once she was free, she had no intention of spying on the Edwards family for him.

But then James threw a wrench in her plan. "How do I know you won't just run off? What if you don't follow through?"

Savannah's heart sank. She didn't expect James to be so sharp.

"So, what will it take for you to trust me?" she asked, biting her lip.

"Remember back in Willowbrook when you gave me two choices? Well, now it's my turn," James said with a mischievous glint in his eye.

"What are the choices?" Savannah asked, dreading the answer.

"First option: you kill Matthew and record it. Give me the video, and I'll have proof you did it. That way, I won't have to worry about you betraying me," James said coldly, his words sending a chill down Savannah's spine.

She couldn't believe how ruthless James had become, willing to make her kill Matthew. This wasn't Charles' idea; it was all James. He realized that to achieve his goals, he couldn't afford to be soft.

James had decided to take on the Edwards family and Rockefeller head-on. Killing Matthew and controlling Savannah would be a double win for him. Even Charles would be surprised at how quickly James had toughened up.

Just last night, James was just a regular guy, but now he was starting to get the hang of his new role!

James knew that as the heir to the world's richest man, he couldn't afford to be a wimp. He had to take on Rockefeller, dig into his parents' deaths, and protect the woman he loved.

Before, James had no big dreams. He was happy with his life—surrounded by beautiful women and filthy rich, which was a dream come true for a poor guy like him.

But when Charles hinted that Rockefeller might be behind his parents' deaths, something clicked in James' mind.

He realized he couldn't just coast on his inheritance. He wanted to use his resources to do things he never dared to dream of before!

The Edwards family had always been his biggest enemy. If he could control Savannah and get her to take out Matthew, the Edwards family would back off for good.

Savannah was shocked by how ruthless James had become, planning to make her kill Matthew. The James standing before her now seemed like a completely different person from the one she knew in Willowbrook.

"So, what do you think of this choice?" James asked her softly.

"No way, I won't kill Matthew. If I do that, my life is over!" Savannah protested. She had been with Matthew for years and knew how terrifying he could be. She feared the consequences if she failed.

Plus, she never intended to help James spy on the Edwards family, so there was no way she'd agree to this.

James seemed to have expected her refusal and smiled slyly.

"What's the second choice?" Savannah asked urgently, seeing James remain silent.

"The second choice is simple too. I want you to become my woman and have my child," James said softly.

"Become your woman? And have your child?" Savannah was stunned, at a loss for words.

She never expected the second choice to be even more outrageous than the first. Despite her seductive appearance and mature, sexy style, Savannah had always respected herself. She had never been in a relationship or even dated.

She knew that a woman's most precious asset is her body, and she would never use it as a bargaining chip unless absolutely necessary.

"As long as you become my woman and have my child, I'll let you go. And you won't have to kill Matthew," James said coldly, staring at Savannah.
