Chapter 129 I Will Make You Regret for a Lifetime
"Mr. Turner, who is this student? What is he doing here?" Arnold, seeing James' arrogant demeanor, shouted angrily at Louis.
Louis, taken aback by James' words, hurried forward and yelled at James, "Do you know who this gentleman in front of you is? Apologize to him immediately!"
James glanced at Arnold and coldly replied, "Such a person doesn't deserve an apology from me."
"You..."Arnold quivered with anger, his gaze fixed on James as he unleashed a stream of curses."Mr. Turner, what's the matter with this guy? How did you bring him here?"
"Mr. Sanders, there have been several theft incidents at our school, and this guuy is the thief. That's why I brought him here to ask you how to deal with him!" Louis hurriedly explained, assuming that James was behaving so boldly because he knew he would be expelled that day.
"Is he the thief?" Arnold furrowed his brow and said coldly, "I never expected such a scoundrel at our University of Lumina. You are not worthy of studying at our school. You are expelled from now on, and I will inform other universities in Lumina City to blacklist you, never to admit you!"
James' provocative behavior had thoroughly angered Arnold.
Arnold not only wanted to expel James but also planned to inform other universities in Lumina City to blacklist him.
If this were to happen, James would not only face expulsion from the University of Lumina but other universities would also be hesitant to admit him as a student due to his tarnished reputation resulting from this incident.
"Do you want to expel me?" James asked with a smirk.
"Yes! Students like you with improper behavior, if I don't expel you now, it will definitely tarnish our school's reputation in the future!" Arnold shouted emotionally.
"I can tell you, unless I don't want to study at the University of Lumina myself, no one can expel me!" James said with a smile.
"What did you say? Do you know who I am? I am the President of the University of Lumina. You dare say I can't expel you, that's ridiculous!" Arnold sneered at James.
"If I say you can't expel me, then you can't expel me!" James remained calm.
Arnold didn't want to argue with James. He picked up the phone on the desk and dialed a number.
"Please bring me the file of a student named James from our school. I want to expel this student now!" Arnold ordered over the phone and hung up, then turned to James and said, "James, your file will be brought here soon. Let's see how defiant you can be then!"
James cast a mischievous smile at the enraged Arnold and retrieved his phone to make a call.
"Do you only think of seeking help now?" Louis sneered at James and continued, "If you had come in with a better attitude and apologized to Mr. Sanders, maybe the principal would have given you a chance to stay under observation. But it's too late now. No matter who you turn to for help, you will be expelled!"
Ignoring Louis, James focused on making his call.
"Hello, James!" The call was quickly answered.
"University of Lumina President's Office, come in ten minutes!" James said calmly.
"Okay!" The person on the other end didn't ask James what had happened; instead, they agreed promptly.
"Even if you bring the Director of Education here today, it won't help! I'm going to expel a student, and no one can stop me! In all my years as a principal, this is the first time I've encountered a student like you!" Arnold shouted excitedly after James hung up the phone.
"You're being too arrogant," James replied in a flat tone.
"If you don't believe me, let's wait and see!" Arnold's resentment towards James deepened upon seeing James' defiant attitude.
He felt that James' behavior was deliberately provoking him.
Moreover, Arnold could tell from James' ordinary attire that he wasn't from a wealthy background and therefore couldn't have a powerful backing.
When Arnold said he would expel James even if the Director of Education came, it was just a boast.
He knew James couldn't possibly arrange for the Director of Education to visit. If by some chance he did succeed, it would likely terrify Arnold.
James lounged on the sofa with his legs crossed, looking content.
Arnold and Louis glared at James with anger, creating a tense atmosphere in the office.
Meanwhile, the classroom was in chaos.
All the students were whispering and discussing James being a thief.
Jennifer, Michael, Elbert, and others secretly rejoiced, knowing that James was finally going to be expelled by the principal, which was a great relief for them.
Jennifer was already planning how she would mock James when he left school.
Ashley looked nervous, feeling that today's incident was not as simple as it seemed.
Donna sat at her desk, regretting speaking about the lost money earlier.
Janet kept making phone calls, trying to use her connections to help James and prevent the principal from expelling him.
Tyler and Paul sat still, looking dazed, unsure of what to do at that moment.
In the blink of an eye, ten minutes had passed.
A middle-aged man with thinning hair entered the principal's office with James' file and respectfully said to Arnold, "Principal, I have brought you the file you requested!"
"Okay!" Arnold took James' file, glanced at James, and then took out the documents.
"James, do you still dare to say I can't expel you now?" Arnold asked coldly, taking out a stamp representing the cancellation of enrollment.
"If you dare to stamp my file, I will make you regret it for a lifetime!" James said coldly to Arnold.
"Make me regret for a lifetime? I'm not afraid." Arnold sneered and was about to stamp James' file.
However, just as Arnold was about to stamp the file, the office door swung open abruptly.
Arnold instinctively looked up and then froze in place.
Louis was so shocked upon seeing the person who entered.
Only James remained calm as he sat on the sofa, as he already knew who had entered.
