Chapter 169 Personal Female Secretary
"Just wait and see!" Charles kept it a secret and then shouted to Ian, "Ian, start the car!"
James turned to Charles, looking frustrated. 'Why not just say what the gift is? Why all the mystery?' he thought.
James sat in the car with Charles and Ian, heading to the outskirts of Lumina City.
Twenty minutes later, the Bentley stopped in front of a duplex villa.
Charles smiled at James. "We're here. Let's get out!"
"What did you prepare for me? Can't you just tell me?" James asked, exasperated.
"Relax, James. You'll see soon!" Charles replied with a grin.
Ian opened the car door for James. James shook his head and got out.
Charles led James into the villa.
Inside, James saw three people: two men and one woman.
One of them, slightly overweight and wearing black-framed glasses, was tinkering with his computer on the sofa. He was clearly a tech-savvy geek.Another, a towering figure who stood at least 6'1", had broad shoulders that were accentuated by his loose clothing but couldn't hide his muscular build. He was currently lifting a pair of dumbbells, engrossed in his workout.
The third person was a woman, and she was by far the most striking presence in the room.
Her allure was undeniable—she had seductive fox-like eyes, a perfectly smooth complexion, and fiery red lips. Her figure was both sexy and captivating.
She wore a tight-fitting tank top that showcased her curves in all the right ways, accentuating her full, high breasts and creating an enticing silhouette. Her lower half was clad in a short black skirt that barely covered her hips, revealing long, slender legs that were simply irresistible.
James couldn't take his eyes off her. He'd seen many beautiful women, but none as captivating as her.
While James was staring, the three people in the villa greeted Charles respectfully, "Hello, Mr. Wilson!"
"James?" Charles called softly.
James didn't hear him, still staring at the woman.
The woman noticed James' gaze and smiled at him.
"James, these three are the gift I mentioned," Charles said, looking at James.
James snapped out of it. "These three are the gift?!"
"Yes, James. From today on, they're your personal bodyguards," Charles nodded.
"Personal bodyguards?" James looked even more frustrated. "Didn't you say the Edwards family wouldn't make a move on me? I don't need bodyguards right now!"
"Even though the Edwards family won't make a move on you for now, I still got you three bodyguards just in case," Charles said with a smile. He turned to the three people and said, "Introduce yourselves!"
"Hey James, I'm Oscar. You can call me Big O!" The burly guy stepped forward with a big smile.
"Hi," James replied, feeling a bit overwhelmed.
"Oscar's a skilled fighter. He'll handle your safety," Charles added.
"James, I'm Steven Rogers. You can call me Fat Steven!" The chubby guy introduced himself next.
"Steven's a computer whiz. If you have any tech issues, he's your guy. He's one of the top ten hackers in the world," Charles explained.
"Wow, that's impressive!" James said, genuinely surprised.
The woman then walked over in high heels, her every step exuding charm. She struck a seductive pose in front of James, her eyes locking onto his. "James, I'm Uma. I don't have any special skills, but I can keep you warm at night."
James was stunned. "Keep me warm at night?" he echoed, feeling a bit helpless.
"Uma, behave!" Charles scolded, then turned to James. "Uma is your personal secretary. You can give her any tasks you need done."
"She's my secretary?" James asked, recalling the saying, "If there's work, let the secretary do it; if there's no work, do the secretary."
"Yes, James. From today on, I'm your secretary. Treat me well!" Uma said flirtatiously.
James looked at Charles, exasperated. "Charles, I know you mean well, but I spend most of my time at school. Having them around all the time would be too noticeable. Can they just be on call instead?"
Charles thought for a moment and then nodded. "That works."
James sighed in relief. "Thanks. Having them around all the time would feel like being under constant surveillance."
"If you don't want so many people, you can just keep me around," Uma suggested, not giving up.
"Well, it's not convenient to have you around all the time," James replied, checking his phone. "Charles, I have something to do later. Can you take me back to the city?"
"Sure, James," Charles agreed, leading James out of the villa.
