Chapter 342 Struggling to Survive
The entrance of The Golden Elm Bistro.
When Cameron fired a shot at Terry's men, the onlookers immediately became agitated, their faces filled with panic.
After all, most of the people present were ordinary folks. Although their family backgrounds might be slightly better than average, they had never witnessed such a scene before!
So, it was only natural for them to appear flustered in such a situation.
Even James was stunned at that moment.
"Help!"
"Help, someone's trying to kill!"
"Somebody, help! Help!"
For a moment, cries of distress filled the air.
Everyone from the Hall Family hid inside The Golden Elm Bistro, as if they were afraid Cameron would shoot them.
At this moment, only Laura, Nancy, and Lily were standing behind James outside the restaurant.
Cameron looked expressionlessly at James and the others, directly pointing the gun at James, and coldly shouted, "Savannah, you go first. If anyone dares to touch you, I'll blow this kid's brains out!"
Savannah glanced back at Cameron without saying a word, then turned and walked towards the parking lot.
Charles and Terry stared intently at Cameron, their expressions extremely tense.
Because they both knew that once someone like Cameron went crazy, he could do anything.
"Cameron, if you dare to shoot now, your life will be over, do you understand?" Charles shouted coldly at Cameron.
"Even if I don't shoot today, I won't have a good end in your hands. And protecting Savannah is my mission. Rest assured, as long as I can complete my mission, I won't harm this kid!" Cameron licked his lips and shouted with a ferocious expression.
Hearing this, Terry and Charles showed a trace of helplessness on their faces.
After all, they never expected Cameron to bring a gun, so they had no way to help James out of this predicament.
The bodyguards Terry brought stopped in their tracks when they saw Cameron pointing a gun at James, not daring to continue blocking Savannah.
They were worried that if they really angered Cameron, James would surely die, and no one could bear that responsibility.
Savannah, swaying her hips in high heels, walked to the Hummer, gave James a disdainful look, then opened the car door and got in.
After Savannah got in the car, the Hummer roared loudly and then sped towards the street in front of The Golden Elm Bistro.
Seeing Savannah driving away, Cameron's expression visibly relaxed, and he prepared to lower his gun.
After all, with a weapon in hand, as long as Savannah could leave safely, Terry and the others couldn't possibly keep him.
But just as Cameron was about to lower his gun, a figure suddenly rushed out from the crowd.
Cameron's reaction was swift; he raised his gun, ready to aim at James again, but before he could lift it, a cold light flashed.
The next second, a knife pierced through Cameron's wrist.
Cameron's gun fell to the ground.
Cameron didn't have time to worry about his injured hand, gritting his teeth and cursing silently, then bent down to pick up the gun.
But it was too late.
Oscar, moving swiftly, reached Cameron and kicked him in the stomach.
Cameron was sent flying by Oscar's kick, landing heavily on the ground.
Oscar, a professionally trained special forces soldier, could knock out a bull with a kick, let alone a person.
Cameron fell to the ground, groaning in pain, struggling to get up.
The onlookers were stunned by this scene.
Oscar's skills had completely shocked them; in their eyes, such a person only existed in movies, yet here he was, real and in front of them.
Cameron struggled to stand, but after a few seconds, he fell heavily to the ground again.
He felt as if he had been hit by a truck, his internal organs aching, with no strength to stand.
Terry reacted quickly, stepping forward and stomping on Cameron's head, rendering him completely immobile.
"Mr. Smith, sorry we're late. Are you alright?" Oscar, seeing Cameron subdued by Terry, walked up to James and asked respectfully.
"I'm fine!" James replied, then glanced at the Hummer where Savannah was.
Although Savannah saw Cameron being kicked away by Oscar, she was too concerned with her own safety to care about Cameron's fate, urging the driver to drive quickly.
Savannah's only thought was to leave this place as soon as possible.
Things had escalated beyond her control.
At that moment, a loud noise came from the street.
Everyone's attention shifted from Cameron to the Hummer.
A white van had crashed into the Hummer where Savannah was.
The Hummer's door caved in instantly, the scene was spectacular.
"Ignore that car, just go!" Savannah shouted at the Hummer's driver, knowing the van must belong to James's people.
The driver, ignoring the blood on his forehead, stepped on the gas to restart the Hummer.
But before the Hummer could start, a hammer smashed the car window.
The glass shattered instantly!
Then, a knife was pressed against Savannah's neck.
"I'm afraid you'll have to stay with us, Miss Edwards!" A fat man's voice came from outside.
