Chapter 186 Yancy Has to Kneel Before Me

In an abandoned factory, James finally saw the woman in front of him clearly after the kidnapper took off his blindfold.

But he never expected his kidnappers to be Jennifer, Michael, and Timothy!

James looked at Jennifer, feeling helpless. He couldn't figure out why she would kidnap him and bring him here.

'Do Jennifer and Michael know who I really am?' he wondered.

"Still feeling cocky now? Scared enough to wet your pants?" Jennifer sneered, glancing at his pants.

"Jennifer, are you nuts? Kidnapping is illegal! You want to go to jail?" James snapped, clearly frustrated.

"Of course, I know. But I'm not kidnapping you. I just brought you here to meet someone," Jennifer replied casually.

"Meet someone?" James was puzzled.

"Yeah, just to meet someone." Jennifer nodded.

"Who?" James asked, frowning.

"You'll find out soon," Jennifer said, walking over to Michael and Timothy.

James watched her, utterly confused about her intentions.

There were five people in the factory: Michael, Jennifer, Sandra, and two young men James didn't recognize, likely Timothy's underlings.

One of them whispered to Timothy, "Mr. Reed, are you sure this won't cause trouble? I heard this guy knows some big shots. He even beat up Mr. Murphy at Stellar Lounge today!"

"Yeah, Mr. Reed, this is my first time kidnapping someone. What if he calls the cops?" another underling added.

"Call the cops?" Timothy sneered. "He won't get the chance."

James felt a flash of fear. Timothy's intentions seemed more sinister than just kidnapping.

"What do you want?" James shouted.

Michael walked up to James, sneering. "James, at this point, you still don't get what we want from you? Seems like you really are as dumb as they come."

"Michael, we had some issues at school, but you wouldn't kidnap me over that, right?" James gritted his teeth.

"You're right. I wouldn't kidnap you just for that, and I don't have the guts." Michael nodded.

He continued, "I thought after you offended Yancy at Stellar Lounge today, you'd be done for. But Janet showed up, and Yancy seemed scared of her, so you got away and even humiliated Yancy. You were really lucky."

"What are you trying to say?" James snapped, losing patience.

"James, you pissed off Yancy today. He won't let it slide. So, we decided to do him a favor by handing you over. Just wait for your doom." Michael sneered.

At the bar, Michael saw James humiliate Yancy. He knew Yancy wouldn't let it go, but Yancy was scared of Janet at the time. Once she left, Yancy would come after James. So, Michael and Timothy decided to kidnap James and hand him over to Yancy, killing two birds with one stone.

Watching Michael's smug face, James felt a wave of frustration. He hadn't expected that those idiots would kidnap him just to do Yancy a favor and set him up for revenge.

At that moment, James was at a loss for words. The situation seemed almost comical.

However, knowing Michael's plan made James feel somewhat relieved. At least, for now, he wasn't facing immediate danger.

"Michael, you should let me go," James said flatly.

"Let you go?" Michael chuckled darkly. "James, are you out of your mind? I went through a lot of trouble to get you here. There's no way I'm letting you go now. Just sit tight and wait for Yancy to arrive. You're in for a rough time."

"Michael, do you know Yancy will be so scared when he sees me that he'll kneel?" James said calmly.

"Still bragging? You will be lucky if he doesn't break your legs," Jennifer scoffed.

"I slapped Yancy more than a dozen times today, and he didn't fight back. Do you think he'll dare to take revenge?" James asked calmly.

"That was because Janet was there. Without her, you're just a delivery guy. Why would Yancy be afraid of you?" Jennifer shouted.

James shook his head, knowing Jennifer wouldn't believe him no matter what he said. So, he stayed quiet and waited for Yancy.

"Michael, are you sure this guy has nothing to do with that Janet? Don't get us in trouble," Timothy shouted, clearly smarter than Michael and Jennifer.

"Don't worry, Mr. Reed. Janet is just our college counselor. Yancy is afraid of her for some reason, but this guy has nothing to do with her. Just call Yancy," Michael replied carelessly.

"Alright then," Timothy reluctantly agreed and called Yancy.

Jennifer and Michael looked at James smugly, thinking he was doomed.
