Chapter 128 Principal Arnold Sanders

Donna asked Janet with a puzzled expression, "Teacher Carter, did James really take that money?"

"I don't know either!"

Janet had been a teacher for many years, and had seen all kinds of students, but she had never encountered someone like James.

In her eyes, James had a good character, and Janet trusted him a lot. But now, with the evidence right in front of her, she couldn't be sure if James was a thief.

"Is something going on at James' home?" Donna continued.

Janet shook her head lightly, not wanting to express any opinion at the moment.

Jennifer, Michael, and Sandra looked very pleased. After planning for so long, they were finally seeing James embarrassed, and they were obviously very happy about it!

James maintained his composure even after witnessing Elbert take the wallet from his desk.He squinted his eyes, observing everyone present, and silently noted their expressions.

It was in moments like these that one could truly see a person's nature.

"It seems that Michael and Jennifer are the masterminds behind this. Otherwise, they wouldn't be so unsurprised!"

James thought to himself after seeing Jennifer and Michael's expressions.

James had never understood why Jennifer had wronged him first and Michael had stolen his girlfriend.

James had never done anything to wrong them, but they kept making things difficult for him.

"Donna, is this your wallet?" Elbert shouted at Donna.

Donna couldn't believe what she was seeing, her beautilful eyes fixed on James, as if awaiting an explanation from him.

Seeing Donna not respond, Elbert opened the wallet and revealed the cash inside to everyone.

"Mr. Turner, now that is the evidence, how do you plan to deal with him?" Elbert shouted at Louis after seeing Donna remain silent.

"Well, I never thought you, who usually seem so honest, could do something like this.

Come with me to the office. I need to discuss how to handle you with the other teachers!" Louis shouted excitedly.

"The office?"

Upon hearing those words, the students in the classroom displayed expressions of fear.

Because at the University of Lumina, students who went to the office rarely had a good outcome.

"Mr. Turner, I think you should interrogate James properly. Maybe he's behind the previous thefts, too!" Elbert shouted at Louis with a sinister look.

"It's not up to you to tell me how to handle this!"

Louis sneered and then shouted at James, "Alright, come with me!"

"I want to see the principal!" James said calmly to Louis.

"What did you say?" Louis asked, stunned.

"I said I want to see the principal!" James repeated calmly and continued, "According to the school rules, any theft incident should be handled by the principal. Severe cases result in expulsion, while minor cases result in probation. So I want to see the principal now!"

Upon initially enrolling, James harbored concerns about facing disciplinary actions and potentially losing his financial aid. As a result, he diligently committed every school rule to memory.

If James had done to the office with Louis now, he would surely have gotten a beating.

Louis was known for acting without thinking, and no matter how strong James' background was, he couldn't reason with him.

So James' plan was simple: go directly to the principal.

As long as he could deal with the principal, even if he had stolen the money, they wouldn't have much to say.

"Alright, you know the school rules. Fine, I'll take you to see the principal!" Louis said with a smile.

If the principal handled this, James would surely be expelled, saving Louis the trouble.

Michael and Jennifer were overjoyed to hear that James wanted to see the principal. It was like he was asking for trouble.

"Let's go!"

Louis said coldly to James.

James turned and gave Elbert a cold look before walking out of the classroom.

As James passed by Janet, she suddenly grabbed his arm and asked softly, "James, tell me the truth. Did you steal the money?"

"No."

James shook his head lightly.

"Then, when you see the principal, don't get agitated. I'll do my best to help you!" Janet said seriously.

"Thank you!"

James was deeply moved by Janet's words.

A few minutes later, Louis brought James to the principal's office at the University of Lumina.

"Wait here, I'll go in and..." Louis started to speak.

But James directly pushed open the principal's office door and walked in.

"Stop right there!" Louis shouted as he saw James barging in.

But it was too late. James walked into the principal's office, sat on the sofa opposite the desk, and acted very arrogantly.

In the classroom, James had hidden his identity because of the other students.

But now, in the office, there were only Louis and the principal, so James didn't need to hide anything.

"Who are you to barge into the principal's office like this?"

The principal of the University of Lumina, Arnold, was shocked by James' actions and asked angrily.

"I don't need to knock to enter your office," James replied calmly.

His words were so bold that they stunned Arnold.

James wasn't trying to show off but knew Arnold, despite his respectable appearance, was not a good person.

Arnold wasn't as blatant as Louis, but he had done some despicable things in private, like forcing female teachers to have affairs and using scholarships and degrees to exploit female students.

James had heard many such stories, but most students only discussed them privately and didn't dare to bring them up publicly.

After all, the University of Lumina was Arnold and Louis' territory, and students couldn't afford to offend them.

But just because others didn't dare didn't mean James wouldn't!
