But James blocked Efrain's path, his expression unusually cold as he said to Efrain, "If you don't apologize to my girlfriend today, you're not leaving here!"
Efrain was stunned upon hearing James' words, glaring at James standing before him.
He never expected James to be so audacious, not only breaking his nose but now also forcing him to apologize to Laura. This was a complete disregard for him!
Indeed, James didn't care about Efrain at all at this moment.

But before Efrain could take out his phone, a middle-aged man's voice rang out, "What's going on? Who has the guts to cause trouble at our The Golden Elm Bistro?"
Everyone turned their heads towards the private room door upon hearing the voice, their expressions turning to surprise.
The Golden Elm Bistro's manager, Herbert, walked up to Efrain and coldly said, "Efrain, if you want to cause trouble, you should know where you are. This is The Golden Elm Bistro. If you really anger Mr. Hayes, even the Mae family can't bear the consequences!"
Efrain's face changed instantly upon seeing Herbert, and he quickly explained with a smile, "Herbert, you misunderstood me today. It's not that I want to cause trouble here, but someone hit me and wants me to apologize. What do you make of that?"
"Is that so? Then I want to see who dares to be so arrogant!"
Since James was standing among the crowd in the private room, Herbert hadn't seen him yet.

But when Herbert saw James' face clearly, he froze, standing there with a look of shock and fear.
The wealthy young men present looked at James with pity, thinking that James, having first offended Efrain and now indirectly offending The Golden Elm Bistro, wouldn't have a good ending.
"Mr. Smith, what are you doing here?" Herbert stammered, his expression extremely tense.
After Herbert said this, the entire private room fell into a dead silence. Everyone stared wide-eyed at Herbert and James, even Efrain was in disbelief.
This was the second time Herbert had met James. The first time was when Joe broke a vase at The Golden Elm Bistro. When Atticus saw James, he immediately claimed the real vase was fake, showing Herbert that James had a complicated background.
Moreover, Herbert had heard that many company CEOs had come to Willowbrook to celebrate Conrad's birthday because of James, further proving James' significant status.
Although Herbert didn't know the exact relationship between James and Atticus, he knew that James was not someone he could afford to offend.
The rich kids present naturally didn't know the relationship between Herbert and James.
James turned his head and looked at Herbert calmly, saying, "This person hit my girlfriend just now. I want him to apologize to her. Do you have a problem with that?"
"Of course not!" Herbert shook his head without hesitation.

No one expected Herbert to be so respectful to James!
But what shocked everyone the most was Herbert's next words.
"Mr. Smith, do you need me to call security to help? If you need, I can call them right away!" Herbert asked James cautiously.
Efrain was in extreme disbelief upon hearing Herbert's words!
So Herbert wasn't here to help him solve the problem but to help James call the restaurant's security to teach him a lesson?
Efrain couldn't understand why Herbert was so afraid of James. No matter what, he was the eldest son of the Mae family. How could he be inferior to a poor delivery boy?
"No need, I can handle it myself!" James directly refused Herbert's offer, feeling that he alone was enough to deal with someone like Efrain.
"Alright, Mr. Smith. If you need anything, just let me know!" Herbert replied with a smile, then gave Efrain a stern look before turning and leaving.
Everyone watched Herbert's departing figure with complex expressions, never expecting such an outcome.
