Chapter 82 Meeting Sarah Again

"Pamela, where did you find this rich kid? He can't even come up with half a million. Are you sure he's not a scammer?"

Kimberly sneered at Pamela after hearing James' words.

"Kimberly, what nonsense are you talking about! Mr. Smith just forgot to bring his bank card today. I can vouch for him with my reputation that Mr. Smith will definitely bring the money tomorrow. Stop mocking him here!" Pamela replied expressionlessly, then respectfully said to James, "Mr. Smith, let's go. I'll bring you back tomorrow to make the payment."

"Alright!"

James nodded, then got up to follow Pamela out.

"Pamela, stop right there!" Kimberly yelled.

Seeing Pamela trying to leave with James, Kimberly quickly reached out to block them and shouted, "You brought this loser here and made a fool of our entire sales department. Now you want to leave without an explanation?"

"Yeah, you need to explain this!"

The other saleswomen in the department also stood up and shouted.

"Kimberly, I advise you not to cause trouble!" Pamela shouted at Kimberly in a low voice.

"Pamela, you started this. You brought this poor guy here and played our entire sales department, and now you want me to let you leave?" Kimberly said mercilessly to Pamela.

"I didn't play you!"

Pamela smiled helplessly at Kimberly and said in a low voice, "Alright, if you think I'm playing you, then how about this: if Mr. Smith doesn't bring the money tomorrow, I'll resign from this company!"

"Pamela, are you serious?"

A strange look flashed in Kimberly's eyes.

"Of course, there are so many people. I can't possibly be joking," Pamela replied coldly, fully believing that James could buy the villa.

"Alright, then I'll let you leave today!"

Kimberly agreed happily.

She thought that since Pamela was staking her job on it, maybe James really had the money to buy the villa. And even if James didn't have the money, Kimberly could use this opportunity to get rid of her rival, Pamela. So, no matter what, Kimberly had nothing to lose and was happy to agree.

"Mr. Smith, let's go!" Pamela said softly to James after seeing Kimberly agree.

"Okay!"

James nodded lightly and walked out of the sales department.

"James?"

At that moment, a beautiful woman in a leather jacket and short skirt walked into the sales department. When she saw James, she instinctively called out.

James, who was about to leave with Pamela, paused and looked towards the entrance.

When James saw the woman walking in, a look of surprise flashed in his eyes.

"Sarah?" James called out loudly.

The woman who appeared in the sales department was none other than Sarah, the girl Paul had introduced to James at the bar last night, and Evelyn's good friend.

Sarah's outfit today was very alluring. She wore a black leather jacket that accentuated her curves and a floral short skirt that showed off her long, straight legs. She wore high heels, making her look very seductive.

When Sarah heard James call her name, she paused and walked up to him, saying, "I can't believe I ran into you here, you big scammer. What are you doing here?"

James frowned at Sarah's words.

He knew Sarah hadn't forgotten about last night, which was why she called him a scammer.

So, James decided not to engage with Sarah and continued walking out of the sales department.

"Why are you in such a hurry to leave!"

Sarah suddenly grabbed James and looked him up and down, then glanced at Pamela. Seeing that they were in a villa sales department, she quickly understood.

"James, are you pretending to be a rich kid to scam people again!"

Sarah sneered at James.

The saleswomen around them, upon hearing Sarah's words, gathered around James, looking puzzled. They didn't expect Sarah to know James.

Sarah looked Pamela up and down and said, "James, I can't believe you're not picky at all. Pretending to be a rich kid to scam college girls is one thing, but now you're even targeting this lady!"

"You're talking nonsense," James responded expressionlessly.

"I'm not talking nonsense. I must have hit a sore spot. If you're not here to scam people, you can't possibly be here to buy a villa," Sarah pouted and said, then turned to Pamela, saying, "Ma'am, let me tell you, you can't trust this James. He's a big-time scammer. Did he bring you here saying he was going to buy a villa for you?"

"Mr. Smith never said he was buying a villa for me. I'm the sales manager here!" Pamela replied calmly.

"I see. Then James must be pretending to be a rich kid to buy a villa and scam you into bed! I'm telling you, don't believe a word he says. He's a big-time scammer and can't possibly afford a villa!"

Sarah didn't know the relationship between Pamela and James. She thought James was targeting another woman after failing to scam her.

At that moment, Kimberly walked up to Sarah and asked expressionlessly, "Sarah, you know this guy?"

"Kimberly, of course, I know this guy. His name is James. He was drinking with me at the bar last night!" Sarah replied quickly.

Hearing Sarah and Kimberly's conversation, James realized why Sarah was here. Kimberly was Sarah's cousin!

"I see!" Kimberly said knowingly and nodded with a smirk.

Sarah pointed at James and said coldly, "Kimberly, let me tell you, James is a big-time scammer. Last night, he pretended to be a rich kid to scam me, but his friend exposed him. He's actually a poor delivery guy who likes to pretend to be rich to satisfy his vanity and scam girls!"
